Amazing hotel, top location and even greater staff

I have stayed in many hotels in Bali, but Amadea truly stands out when it comes to friendliness and helpfulness. From the porters and security staff to the reception team and housekeepers – everyone was exceptionally kind and welcoming. My room was spacious, very clean, and most importantly incredibly quiet despite the hotel’s prime and central location. Unfortunately, I forgot some clothes at the hotel and assumed they were lost. However, the hotel contacted me the very same day to let me know that my belongings had been found and were safely kept for me. I absolutely love this honesty and professionalism! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bali.

Excellent place to stay in Seminyak.

Resort was great and staff was very helpful. They made sure we are comfortable and accommodate our requests. There are lots of shops, massage places and bars around the resort. Everything is walkable distance.

Wall shower head is fixed position. They could improve this by installing a flexible movement head stand. The toilet holder is installed a bit low height.

We had the most beautiful stay here. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble and every interaction came with a smile. The hotel itself is peaceful, spotless and beautifully designed, with that relaxed Bali energy you instantly fall in love with.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We were offered an upgrade which was great value, so took it. We had a ground floor large room, with a large communal pool outside - it was quiet and felt like ours! Breakfast was great with cook to order omelette and tasty Balinesian dishes too. Great room service menu available all day. We would definitely stay again!

The resort was about a mile walk to the beach, and the main roads were very hectic with moped taxis etc. I found it nicer to walk down back alleys which were quieter, and saw very interesting hindu shrines/statues outside every house

Truly an amazing and peaceful getaway.

Though you are close to all the shops and restaurants and bars, you truly feel like you are in a tropical getaway. It’s on the Main Street, but the villas are tucked away so much so that even outside, you can’t hear the bustling main road.

It became my favourite hotel

I didn’t expect much, but the hotel turned out to be fantastic. I was lucky enough to get a room facing the pool, and the view was amazing. The pool was just the right size — not too big or crowded — and the trees around it added a nice tropical atmosphere. The whole place just had really good vibes. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always smiling. The breakfast restaurant was also wonderful. I actually booked another trip to Bali and chose this hotel again ;)

Top hotel, wonderful stay

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely pool and bar area with plenty of towels for guests. We were also allowed to check out late, which was very helpful.

It's all about location

The hotel met my expectations, especially because of its location. It’s right in the middle of everything you need in Seminiak— great restaurants, plenty of clothing and souvenir shops. You don’t need to take a taxi anywhere, not even to the beach (KuDeTa). The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The service is excellent, and the staff take great care of their guests.

The hotel could easily improve the breakfast and the pillows in the rooms. The breakfast is good — nice coffee, fresh fruit, bread, and made-to-order omelets. However, I would add more variety of artisanal breads and a wider selection of cheeses and cold cuts to suit more Western tastes. Regarding the pillows, it would be great to have more options. There are four pillows in the double room, but they are all extremely high, which makes sleep less comfortable. I would suggest replacing two of the high pillows with two lower ones to better satisfy all preferences.

Even around the swimming pool, we constantly noticed staff quietly and efficiently tidying up—removing fallen flowers or keeping the floors pristine. It’s the kind of care that speaks volumes about the pride they take in their work. A special mention goes to the amazing housekeeping team. We were genuinely touched by the thoughtful surprises left in our room. A heartfelt thank you to Surnya and Ardana, who created a beautiful decoration that made our stay feel even more special. Their kindness and creativity didn’t go unnoticed. But what truly sets Amadea apart is the sense of unity and warmth that radiates from every staff member. From the security personnel at the entrance to those working behind the scenes whom we never had the chance to meet—you can feel that everyone is part of one big family, working together to create something truly wonderful.
