It's all about location

The hotel met my expectations, especially because of its location. It’s right in the middle of everything you need in Seminiak— great restaurants, plenty of clothing and souvenir shops. You don’t need to take a taxi anywhere, not even to the beach (KuDeTa). The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The service is excellent, and the staff take great care of their guests.

The hotel could easily improve the breakfast and the pillows in the rooms. The breakfast is good — nice coffee, fresh fruit, bread, and made-to-order omelets. However, I would add more variety of artisanal breads and a wider selection of cheeses and cold cuts to suit more Western tastes. Regarding the pillows, it would be great to have more options. There are four pillows in the double room, but they are all extremely high, which makes sleep less comfortable. I would suggest replacing two of the high pillows with two lower ones to better satisfy all preferences.

Parfait !

Mon partenaire et moi sommes arrivés avec un ami. Étant arrivés avant l'heure du check in habituel, nous avons pu être surclassés dans une villa en payant 50€ chacun seulement. Au lieu d'une simple chambre lit double, nous avions donc eu droit à une villa entière avec piscine privative, 2 suites dont une se trouvant dans une dépendance. Le service de chambre était parfait, ainsi que le service de lingerie très réactif et adorable. Le restaurant attenant l'hôtel (Aspargus restaurant) était également parfait, mais ce qui l'a rendu exceptionnel était son personnel qu'on porte tout particulièrement dans notre coeur ! Un grand merci à Desy, Ata et Dana qui ont été d'une gentillesse incroyable !

Even around the swimming pool, we constantly noticed staff quietly and efficiently tidying up—removing fallen flowers or keeping the floors pristine. It’s the kind of care that speaks volumes about the pride they take in their work. A special mention goes to the amazing housekeeping team. We were genuinely touched by the thoughtful surprises left in our room. A heartfelt thank you to Surnya and Ardana, who created a beautiful decoration that made our stay feel even more special. Their kindness and creativity didn’t go unnoticed. But what truly sets Amadea apart is the sense of unity and warmth that radiates from every staff member. From the security personnel at the entrance to those working behind the scenes whom we never had the chance to meet—you can feel that everyone is part of one big family, working together to create something truly wonderful. Avevi prenotato due camere, la prima si affacciava sulla piscina del retro, mentre l’altra si affacciava zona giardino dall’altra parte della struttura.. come per l’altra recensione, siamo rimasti soddisfatti di entrambe le camere. Pratique mais sans grand charme

L'hôtel dispose de chambres confortables et spacieuses et de deux jolies piscines. Un programme d'activités libres d'accès est établi sur la semaine avec des cours de yoga, des séances de cinéma en plein air etc. Une fontaine à eau est disponible près de la piscine située à l'arrière. Le petit-déjeuner est sous forme de buffet avec la possibilité de faire cuire des oeufs et des pancakes à la demande, les jus frais ne sont renouvelés que jusqu'à 8h puis jusqu'à épuisement des stocks.

La taille de l'établissement le rend un peu froid et impersonnel. Le restaurant et l'accueil sont séparés du bâtiment principal où se trouve la réception par une partie des chambres vue jardin et une rue (!!), vous pouvez faire le trajet à pied ou en voiturette électrique. Le rapport qualité prix est tout juste correct.

The thing I loved most about Amadea was how friendly, accommodating, and loving the staff was there. The workers were very professional and made you feel at home. Aside from the staff the villa location is perfect. The villa is right next to multiple food and clothing options as well. The villa is located right next to La Favella a very fun spot for night life and is a 30 min-1.5 hr drive from most other locations. The villa is walking distance from Seminyak Beach. My stay here was incredible and i’ll definitely be returning here soon. If you’re looking for a villa/resort, have no hesitation when staying at Amadea. Reserve your room here now, and I promise you won’t be disappointed. A special thanks to the coworkers there in particular (Rio, Jodi, Adi, Daisey, Rama, Raysa, and the entire staff). Sorry if I misspelled any names. Had the best time here thank you all for everything 😃

Good property in central Seminyak location, good breakfast & lovely staff.

Good size room with a comfortable bed. Room was quiet and property is close to everything in Seminyak. Staff were all lovely.

Generally prefer the location of other properties we have stayed at in Canngu & Legian for their easier access to the beach. Just personal preference nothing wrong with this property & staff were all great & good breakfast. Pillows were a bit hard for our liking.

Location, Staff and Amenities - Fabulous!

There was nothing to fault, this was my first stay in Bali and it truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were wonderful, pools were well maintained, rooms lovely and clean, food and drinks divine, I felt so at home. And the movie night and live Jazz during my stay was a bonus. Location - could not have asked for better. Will definitely be back.

The only very small issue was the music from the neighbouring bar one night when I went to bed however it stopped at a very reasonable hour (and this was out of the resorts control).

Highly recommended place to stay in semenyak area.

Verry exceptional staff. The hotel are very very close to a club, shops and resturants. Close to tue beach about half a mile. Do not use taxi or taxi who offer fix rate it is too expensive even if you bargain for the price. I recommend to use grab more cheapper. The food on the hotel restaurant was very good and tasty. Do not shop or buy souveneirs close to the hotel way to expensive even if you bargain. The hotel staff are very accommudating, friendly and very helpfull. The hotel room that we stayed was upgraded to a villa from my original booking of Delux( I think?). I very highly recommend this hotel. I will give it SIX STARS! THANK YOU AMADEA RESORTAND VILLA for the great service. I will booked with this hotel again when I go back to Bali.

Good Hotel but poor breakfast

The staff could not do more to help. They are welcoming polite and genuinely pleased to help in any way they can. The free 15min massage was amazing and the rooms they use on the roof.

The manager does not come out of hiding when a customer makes representations about poor accommodation and asks to speak to him. We had to have several room changes due to location, people smoking, damp, and water pouring out of an AC unit. There were lots of options at breakfast but they were mostly poor quality and cheap ingredients. The chefs were unable to provide decent pancakes. It was the only hotel we stayed that charged extra for a cappuccino. My advice would be to skip the breakfast element and head to Ultimo patisserie (opposite to the left).

We stayed in (3) rooms rather than villas. We didn't get adjacent rooms, which was a bit disappointing, & made it feel a bit dormitory (rather than hotel) style. But this was only a small issue, the accommodation was perfectly fine.

Pleasant stay in the heart of Seminyak.

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The staff were all very friendly and helpful – from the front desk and security to the breakfast team and cleaners. A lovely touch from the cleaning team with the beautiful origami! Our villa was well maintained, clean, and well stocked. The location is excellent – right in the heart of Seminyak. We had a minor issue with the shower door, but the team responded quickly and efficiently. We’ll definitely be back when we return to Bali!

Since we stayed in the Villa, we didn't use the hotel facilities so I don't have any comment on those. But there is nothing we didn't like about this place.

We had a fantastic stay, I would stay again, convenient to shops and eatery’s. If I was to point one and only negative it, it would be the bathrooms showers were a little tired looking. Shower curtains. Small thing.

Personeel doet zeer goed zijn best. Zeker de schoonmaak en de medewerkers in het restaurant. Hygiëne is van hoog niveau.

Het restaurant is voor het ontbijt te klein. Daardoor waren er soms wachttijden voordat je aan tafel kon... Voor het weghouden van ongedierte werd er tijdens ons verblijf gesproeid. Maar dit was niet aangekondigd en werd gedaan om 16:00 terwijl er nog mensen aan het zwembad lagen.
