The entire resort is incredible - beautiful grounds, easy access to ocean, and great amenities but the real plus are the people. The staff makes this resort special with their kindness and care. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel and great location. Couldn’t ask for better services or staff. Only drawback is that there was only one onsite restaurant which was ridiculously expensive. Yes I would stay again.

Stayed at the Oberoi for 5 nights and had an amazing experience here. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the resort, they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The villa style rooms make it feel more private- we had a wonderful room with the patio. The resort is in walking distance to Seminyak square and has a shuttle service to take you there and back on a pre set schedule. Breakfast variety was varied, a la carte options for western/asian tastes provided great options- I can say we tried most items on their menu and were not disappointed! Overall a fantastic and memorable stay at this resort.

An old establishment with beautiful regional architectures! Even the room shows minor age from the time, I personally still prefer local flare than ultra modern hotels. One thing of disappointment was the water quality of the beach. I preferred not to step into ocean in front of the hotel! But the pool was fantastic!

The age and the size of the property on the beachfront. Very little left of Old Bali. If you want bling, don’t stay there. If you want to experience the best of Bali, then do stay. The staff are wonderful and do whatever you need for a restful stay

I enjoyed the friendly staff. Every day I had a pleasant conversation with a staff member, such as at breakfast or at the pool. I enjoyed ordering a healthy breakfast in the outdoor breakfast area. I enjoyed going for a swim in the large pool and working on in the small gym. I enjoyed having a nice drink in the evening at the bar.

Perfection! Balinese style rooms which have been updated and clean. The staff were super friendly, your room is serviced twice daily, free shuttle is offered around Seminyak - drop of anywhere along the route, buggies from room to reception. Surprise cake and card was left in room for birthday, pool access was 24 hours attended - luxury feel

Beautiful property, right on the beach and a just a quick walk to town. Great location, near restaurants and shopping. Is an oasis amid the cacophony of Seminyak. The service is amazing! Can’t say enough about what a great experience we had. The villas are huge and very well designed. Only negative in my mind is that the beach isn’t great but the pool is.

Drove by the Oberoi Resort often while staying in Ubud over the past several years and often thought of staying there. This trip I had two reasons to stay there. I wanted to avoid the traffic on the long drive to Uber and I wanted to be near the airport small reasons to stay in a hotel with a great reputation, but they worked wonders for me during this stay Bali has become a traffic nightmare which all but the most blasé visitor will want to avoid. The Oberoi is a paradise in the midst of all that. A 40-year-old gem that has only gotten better with age. A well managed, nicely, staffed resort that quickly lets you forget what Bali has become. If I return to this formerly wonderful. island this sill be my home!

I booked this hotel for three nights to celebrate my husband birthday. The staff surprised my husband with a birthday cake .Every employee in this hotel is full of smiles, the service is very attentive. The food in the restaurant is also very good. The room I chose is Ocean View Luxury Room. It’s beautiful! Subsequently I went to Lombok for three nights, staying in The Oberoi Beach Lombok and came back to this hotel again for one night. I was very pleased that the hotel upgraded us to stay in the Ocean View Villa, which surprised me. It’s perfect!

This would be a perfect place for families and couples to relax. The location is also very convenient. One thing I would suggest is to provide mosquito nets over bed in the bedrooms and also there are also frequent mosquito at the bar/breakfast area at night. Service and room comfort are top tier. It is also in a prime location for Seminyak (walking distance to cafes, beach bars, malls, etc.). My one complaint- there is sewage runoff that flows into the ocean near the lobby, which gives off an unpleasant smell. They burn incense in this area to cover it up, but it is quite potent. Luckily, our room wasn’t near this and we were able to enjoy our stay. I do think this is common for Seminyak beach hotels and would still recommend staying here.
