Desamuda Village by Pertama Stay

Property was great for us. Really handy to everything shops, eateries etc. Staff were exceptional. Breakfast buffet was great.

Villas could do with a spruce up, some areas need attention.

We loved our stay so much. We arrived before check in time and we were so tired. They reception staff were so kind and helpful and were able to get a room ready for us within 5 minutes. We were so thankful to have a few hours of rest before check in time. The room was a bit dated but very clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a private pool which was super private and relaxing. It was a short walk to restaurants, shops and places to get a massage. We ordered room service and the quality was excellent. For the price we paid, we were pleasantly suprised. It's not a new and fancy place but if you need a quiet place to relax that is still close enough to everything and super comfortable - then this is your place!

The location is excellent with easy access to restaurants, tattoos, cafes, shops, massage, plus its only a fairly short walk to the beach (20mins ish). Although the hotel is near all the busy streets of Seminyak, it remains surprisingly quiet with little to no disturbances. I loved staying in my private little villa with own pool, etc, but also enjoyed hanging out at the big pool drinking cocktails. The bed was comfy and I appreciated the mozzie nets which always feels quite special and the aircon worked a treat. Little touches like the mozzie coils were great, but I had to buy my own lighter to light them because the 4 matches left for me didnt work. I made the space my own and didn't want to leave by the end. The security guards were so lovely and friendly, and I always got a big wave hello or goodbye!

I was really disappointed when I first pulled up in my taxi because the front of the accommodation is really not much to look at and I got concerned about where I had booked to stay. There is clearly some works in progress? I.e. roofing... The check in desk was underwhelming. I wish more guests would have hung out around the bar area as I was on my own and would have quite enjoyed the company, however, the bar and restaurant areas weren't very inviting. A couple of the pillows were smelly, but it was ok because I had 4 to use so I just used the 2 that weren't. Some of the electrics looked a bit dodgy!!! and the 2 lounges by my private pool need replacing.
