Comfortable for a short stay

Property is in a great location, comfortable and great value for money. It does need a lot of updating.

Very relaxing and beautiful villa with a private pool

Very nice grounds and our villa was lovely with oir own private pool and kitchen and very comfortable bed - very friendly staff, very clean and nice breakfast - being able to wake up and have a swim in our private pool was amazing

Room with the private pool, breakfast was ok

Translation into English: The apartments are old, very worn out, and poorly maintained. I am attaching a few photos so you can understand the quality. There were many issues. First of all, as soon as we moved in, an employee escorted us to the room and did not want to leave for a long time, apparently waiting for a tip. The scene felt like something out of the movie Home Alone 2. It was very strange, especially since the employee showed zero emotion and was not particularly friendly. At 9 a.m., someone already started trying to come in to clean the room, even though we were still sleeping. Then the door handle fell off, and we fixed it ourselves. After that, we got an electric shock. Although they changed the room for us, that room was also very worn out. A/C didn’t work well. Finally, after swimming in the pool, my hair turned GREEN. They use chlorine in the pool and did not warn about this anywhere. My hair was damaged. On top of that, the water supply disappeared as well. For all these problems, they offered a solution of a bottle of water and lunch at their restaurant, which we refused. I sincerely recommend avoiding this place — it is very bad and not worth a single cent paid.

Great place, great staff , went above & beyond, good location

Lovely property, well Kept, could use touch ups , great location & amazing staff . Perfect for a true Bali feel holiday . Very kind staff to my unwell kids , nothing was too much trouble . Special mention to restaurant staff , drivers , security & all front staff , specially Suena who was so kind , but all were great . Just be mindful bed rooms are closed & air con but kitchen/living is open , but that’s part of the appeal ! Highly recommend

It comes with the villa, open kitchen & bathroom means you can’t get away from bugs & geckos ! It’s not a hotel so if you can accept that it’s open , a great place to stay.

Location was perfect but the stay for 2 weeks was average for its price

Location was great, right near the main road of Seminyak not far from Bintang Supermarket

The amount of Ants on the tables in the dine in area where breakfast was served, they were everywhere on the tables. The amount of bugs flying around the sometimes uncovered food. The Lack of utensils at our main villa. Access to their wifi was terrible we had the wifi maintenance guy come to our villa 4 times during our 2 week stay to fix the wifi and it was still terrible.

Something wrong

Location and good breakfast

We left our villa at around 8:30 AM and returned at 8:00 PM, only to find our villa door wide open. Naturally, we were extremely shocked and worried, thinking the villa might have been robbed. Thankfully, nothing was missing — but this situation should never happen. When we reported it, the staff simply said, “I will check with housekeeping.” This is a serious security issue, and the response felt very casual and unprofessional. On top of that, housekeeping did not replace our towels after the first night. Fresh towels were only provided after we requested them. Overall, this experience made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Due to the lack of proper security and housekeeping standards, we will not be returning.

A little paradise with friendly staff in a great location

The staff were very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Suena on reception for his friendliness and willingness to help us with any information. The staff in the restaurant area were also very friendly. We loved the design and appearance of the outdoors areas. We had a one bedroom villa and it was superb, spacious, comfortable and enjoyable. The two pools we swam in were excellent and the water was such a pleasant temperature. The location was convenient. We hired a motorcycle, booked quad bike / ATV activity and booked Snorkelling at / near Nusa Penida through the concierge.

It was nice and quiet, we liked the pool and outdoor bathroom. The breakfast was included. The location was nice.

There were small maintenance things that could’ve been improved, like the flush wasn’t working well or the sink was closed. But the staff was informed and it’ll get fixed. As a small suggestion, we recommended them to add smart tv option as there were tvs but with normal cable tv only

Amazing with beautiful surroundings and in walking distance to the main road and stores, pubs, clubs & 25 minutes from the airport. A buffet breakfast came with the stay.

Wonderful and relaxing stay in the busy Seminyak area

I absolutely love the way I have been spoilt...staff made me feel like a princess and cleaned my villa daily. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices and live cooking station. Stunning swimming pools sourrounded by a very well manteined garden. A water dispenser with drinkable water was also provided (hot and cold water) Great location plenty of cafe, restaurants and shops near by and the beach is only 20min walking

Closer to shops, restaurants , airport

1.Toilet - no privacy at all. Who designed this? Stupidity at highest level. 2. Food- could do with some improvement with menu 3. Swimming pool- has no safety features. 4. Reception Area- needs upgrading to a higher standard 5. Staff- need to have some sort of knowledge on the whereabouts if guests asked any suggestions on where to go etc.

Great Place

Overall i think this place is great, 8/10. Its a little bit run down and showing a bit of age however i think it gives character. The village has really nice landscape, very green and nice, even down to the rooms the pathways are well done with nice plants very well presented. The room was nice, loved the openess of it. 1 night in particular, i was sitting in the "living room" watching the rain sprinkle in the private pool was very relaxing. The staff very friendly the ladies and men at the front desk very nice and friendly, security guard are great blokes, as a single man i have comapany visit me and they were not troubled as ive experianced at other villas. Nothing was too much trouble for them, as i ordered a lunch meal at breakfast time and the chefs where more then happy to cook up for me. The morning buffet was small compared to some villas however they had everything i liked so for me it was perfect. Honestly loved the place have already booked my next stay here, value for money i think its great, with the pefect location.

Only thing that i would say was they didnt have Bintang Radler behind the bar. Id probably have a few more fans around the room.

A holiday of a lifetime . We have tried to quite a few places but this will always stick with us as the best holiday so

I loved everything about this place. The location is great for anything and everything you may need. The people are beyond friendly and helpful . Nothing is too much and always welcomed with a smile. We had. Villa 13 and was blown away with how amazing this place was . The food was amazing . We will 100% return again and again.

I really like the location of this property , the gardens are always immaculate and clean , don’t use the two other pools

I found the 2 bedroom pool villa to be dated and in much need of some care, paint peeling off, loose pool tiles, some mould on the exterior walls very depressing, this didn’t impact our one night stay. In April 2025, I stayed in a one bedroom pool villa and found that to be more comfortable and cleaner than the 2 bedroom

Ideal private villa for a very affordable relaxing stay!

Our villa was so spacious and it felt so private! Loved having our own pool and having our lovely AC cooled bedroom close by. We also loved walking through the gardens to access our big courtyard door. Breakfast was great and the staff are really friendly. It also felt really secure.

We personally didn’t dislike it but the outside toilet may not be for some, and it was stained black on the inside (likely from outside humidity etc) but it was clean.

The delux villa was excellent. It was a beautiful tropical garden setting with pool and lounge chairs. The outdoor bathroom area was large. We loved having a small kitchen and lounge area at the end of a working day. The staff were excellent!

It was a great place to stay. Some parts of the resort are tired but that’s part of its beauty.

Great location and value

The location was great and staff were always helpful and polite. The 3bdrm villa was very dated but great value for money.

The beds were a bit too hard for me, so I didn't sleep too well. The breakfast was a bit sad also. We eventually chose to eat out for breakfast.

The breakfast and staff. The pool was great until a huge family came and took it over leaving their rubbish and all the pool toys. Clean up after yourself. Love the Bali vibe of the hotel. Beautiful windows. Great size rooms.

We had room 20 and 8. Bath plugs and sink plugs didn’t work. Had a beautiful outdoor bath that we couldn’t use. Very run down. Needs a lot of updating.

I like the location of the property. Close to many tourist spots in Seminyak. I also like the room that we got.

The shower in the bedroom was a little hard to use so we ended up using the shower downstairs. It would have been nice if it had a shower curtain so we won’t get the bathroom wet when we take a bath in the upstairs bathroom.

Had a fantastic time at Desmuda Villas. Location and Customer Service was very good.

Breakfast was great with plenty of options and variety available. Service by staff was always prompt and courteous. Beds were very comfortable. Outdoor shower was great.

All rooms and amenities could do with an update. Toilet flushing was always an issue. Would be good to add more sun lounges for large group stays.

Two star accommodation at a stretch

There wasn't much to like about it. $100 more a week and you could be in much better accommodation in a better location with a pool you'd actually use.

- property needs major maintenance. Things are outdated, rusting, mouldy and falling apart - there are stray animals in the hotel so at night they howl and make a racket - located in the not so great side of seminyak. You ideally want accommodation close to Corner Cafe. - furniture is really outdated -Pools are not heated -no adequate loungers to sit at by the pool. You are going to pay $60 to sit at other hotels pools if you stay here - staff is average - this is more of a two star accommodation. I question the four star rating. - bathroom is hostel like. Shower barely works, there's mould.
