Affordable magnificence

Loved the tropical oasis feel.. it’s quiet but you can slip out the side door and be at the beach in minutes .. the bathroom design open to the sky is incredible. I had room 8, and loved it

The pillows were hard (the mattress was fine though), and although the open air bathroom is superb, the wire screen enclosure over the top consists of 1cm square holes, so it doesn’t keep mossies out, so you have to keep the bathroom door shut at all times, although there is a mossie net over the 4 poster bell

Peace, proximity, premium… Very happy!!!

This place is amazing. It’s a little slice of quiet paradise. I came to rest and recharge my batteries and that’s exactly what I did. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. The pictures are exactly what you get. It is walking distance to good coffee (a must for me), walking distance to great food. The beach is only a few minutes walk away. Shopping is only a few minutes walk away. If you’re tossing up where to stay and can’t decide, you won’t be disappointed with this place.

Not far from the beach and it was quiet. Bed was comfy.

Pretty dated, internet didn’t work in our room, big pool but no cover over it so impossible to swim in the heat of the day. Only 2 chairs to lounge in with no shade. Meh, it cost too much for what it was..

Beautiful garden property with great pool with great location to the beach.

Easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful pool just outside our room. Chondri or Jon can make your breakfast and best Bali coffee we’ve had. Or walk to beach with plenty of restaurants on the beach. Good hot showers.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere amongst a beautiful tropical garden setting. The rooms are comfortable and spotless. John and his staff are lovely friendly approachable hosts. The pool is huge. The hotel only has a few rooms if you want to stay somewhere away from the crowds this is the place.

Brilliant location with a quick walk to the beach through the adjoining lane, and close enough to good restaurants, on the beachfront and on the street nearby, as well as shopping, ATM, and convenience stores. The place is immaculately kept, the room was spacious, and the pool and garden area are lovely. The owners and staff are helpful and friendly. We would be happy to stay there again. Great value for money.

The lane access to the beach was a bit treacherous and not well kept, especially after the rain. Not the responsibility of the hotel though!

Great location. 1 minute from beach promenade to go either 10mins walk to Double 6 or 15minutes to Seminyak Square. 10 minutes thru the gangs to Bintang supermarket. So very convenient. Lovely gardens , super quiet with no car traffic or motor bikes . Room was clean , simple . Pool was large and again no one using it. Definitely old school . Nothing fancy but will stay there again. There are plenty of other places to stay in that price range but they can be very disappointing . This was the opposite. I personally loved it.

Maybe a floor mat to dry your feet on after pool or shower but of course that’s just a minor suggestion

Perfect authentic baliense accommodation

I enjoy the serene surrounds of raja gardens Had the massive pool to myself for most of my stay The hotel was fantastic , room was clean , yet a little dated like most Bali venues, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying my stay Beautiful manicured gardens need to be seen , plenty of fruit trees and the sweet smell frangipani in between the concrete jungle of other resorts John and his family are the perfect hosts

Towels changed every 3 days, no drinking water or coffee provided (except on arrival), these are small things that could make a stay more agreable.

Raja Gardens is a Well Maintained Hotel with Beautiful Gardens & is in an Excellent Location.

Raja Gardens is a well maintained small hotel which is 250 metres from the beach. Its is very peaceful with a large swimming pool & beautiful gardens. The rooms are spacious & very clean with comfortable beds & pillows. The bathroom is huge & partially outside with potted plants & a rockery. The air conditioner worked well & so did the fridge. We can recommend the restaurant Chez Gado Gado which is only a 5 minute walk down to the Beach. Supermarkets, Laundry & a Money Changer are nearby. We can also recommend Dua Sisi which has an excellent breakfast with a set menu & well priced. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our week at Raja Gardens with our hosts John & his lovely wife.

Some of the towels need to be replaced.

A very nice quiet and peaceful oasis right in the heart of Seminyak. If you have to go to Seminyak or for some strange reason you want to then this an excellent choice. Large rooms nice and clean a pleasant pool and very quiet considering it’s location

Seminyak has successfully turned into the new Kuta. If crowds of sun drenched tourists parked six deep on loungers at the beach is your thing then you’ll love it. It’s now official that on some days it is almost quicker to walk to Kuta along the beach from Seminyak than it is to drive.Most restaurants sell overpriced food of questionable quality and it is difficult to conceive that you could have a relaxing and pleasant time there. Look elsewhere in Bali for your holiday

very comfy rooms, not got a tv or anything but didn’t miss it one bit. bed very comfy, rooms spacious. lovely garden atmosphere and nice pool. lovely small hotel. Staff were really incredible and friendly and chatty and always said hi and helped.

Bathroom semi outside (which is fine) but just a little more focus needed on cleaning of bugs in high places in there etc. nothing major and some bugs to be expected. Only thing I missed from from the room was a safety deposit box.

Beautiful, clean, quiet yet in the hearth of Seminyak!

Beautiful, quiet oasis in the buzz of Semyniak. Very clean rooms, close by the beach and countless restaurants / bars. Cool outdoor bathroom/shower. Great for LGBTQ people since it’s very close to the 🏳️‍🌈 bars. Family-run business.

Lounge chairs by the pool were not set up for use. There is no shower-gel, just a small bar of soap.
