Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort

The location was amazing! Service was outstanding , they helped us rent bikes. The live music at the bar at night was so lovely every night too.

Very helpful and good facilities. Enjoyed our stay. Ordered in room dining once and the food was good too.

Great and helpful staff, 5 star service from staff. Modern and clean facilities. No noise issue or any issues. Good breakfast, and good lunch and dinner food and restaurants. Everything was great! We will visit again! Thank you Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak!

When I booked Courtyard by Marriott for my Seminyak vacation, I’ve had some expectations. We checked in at 2:30pm-ish, a bit earlier than their check in time 3pm. Our room was ready which I really appreciated because it’s an hour drive from our Ubud resort. Upon check in, the front office staff was hospitable but she didn’t utter anything about their fire drill practice. After 30mins into our room, we heard a fire alarm. I got panicked and rushed down via stairs with some other guests. Apparently there was no notice from the hotel to the guests about the fire drill practice. BAD and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL for such a big reputable hotel. We met an assistant manager of front office at the lobby lift area and she was asking us where we were heading. Her actions at that time were as if we were the wrong ones to come all the way down from our rooms. Unbelievable, and I find it quite funny. She should be assuring the guests about the fire alarm not being real but not asking where we’re going. Anyways, overall interactions with all the staffs were great, friendly and helpful start from the security gate till the housekeeping. The room looks obviously worn down with lots of stains and scratches. Not to mention that the electricity was out for our room. The staffs were very helpful and fast in fixing it tho. The chefs at the buffet breakfast stations were insincere in our opinion. The cook to order eggs were not how we asked them to be for 2 consecutive days. The staffs were just focusing on their tasks, not on the customers too. Location was nice, 5 to 10 mins walk to the beach. There was a sunbathing spot at the beach for Marriott guests. Would not visit again. Would not recommend to friends.
