The Best Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had

Lido Palace truly exceeded all my expectations — it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were celebrating or wedding that occured end of July, and not only did they help me plan a beautiful wine tasting, but they also arranged a thoughtful surprise gift in our room and even upgraded us, which made the occasion even more special. As a certified assistance dog owner, I also want to highlight how welcoming they were toward our little dog, Paris (2kg). She was treated with such care and kindness, which meant the world to us. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. I especially appreciated the availability of plant-based milk. I would have loved to see a bit more variety in dairy-free products, but everything was still of very high quality. Big shoutout to the amazing chefs making fresh omelets to order — such a treat! We also really enjoyed the dinner and variety of wines they offer5ed. Also, let’s be honest, this is the best location in Garda, full stop. Stunning surroundings, close to everything, and views that take your breath away. And a very special thank you to Claudia at the front desk — what an angel! She went out of her way to help us with every detail and truly made our stay so amazing. We’re very grateful. Everything from the service to the setting was exceptional. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Lido Palace, for making our celebration so memorable.

The pool bar service was a little slow at times, which might be something to improve — but it didn’t take away from the overall wonderful experience.

Amazing hotel with superb facilities in a great location. Fantastic food, the breakfast is the best we have experienced. It is well worth a visit.

Our only criticism was we had two negative interactions with staff, one in the restaurant and one in the spa area.

Great location, beautiful hotel, the suite was wonderful!

The hotel is in a great location to town. You can easily walk to the public beach to the left of the property or to the right where you can go into town. The breakfast was nice, pool area was beautiful and quiet, and the spa was wonderful. The dinner and bar area has a fabulous view.

We inquired about a car rental at the front desk upon arrival. The woman we spoke to told us that it wasn’t possible to rent a car in town to return to Rome airport. She said we’d need to go to Trento or Verona to rent a car. When we did some looking online ourselves, we found an Avis rental company 15 min away.
