Great cozy hotel, kind staff and great breakfast

Great hotel a few minutes away from the town's centre with a modern yet familiar feel. It has a cozy lobby and a restaurant, bar, and swimming pool, and everything looks quite clean and new. The staff was kind and friendly and took some time to help us plan our activities in the town. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and looked quite new. The bathroom was clean and we had enough hot water, but the shower can get the floor a little bit wet. The breakfast was outstanding. Not only the restaurant had plenty of seats and a lot of sunlight, but also there were several options, from hot pans for cooking omelettes, scrambled eggs, and pancakes to a selection of different cheeses and salads. Also, it has a private parking lot with outlets for charging EVs at a convenient rate (which was crucial for us). Overall, we recommend and we would gladly book again should we return to Riva del Garda.

Hotel Luise is a lovely hotel we enjoyed it's position close to the beach and the old town. The staff were very helpful and polite. I think it's the best breakfast selection we have had in a long time at a hotel.

Nothing to dislike about the hotel itself. We did have a partial view of what looked like a new building about to go up next door, although it wasn't being done while we were staying there.

Magical and relaxing stay

We liked everything - Luise is a magical hotel! Firstly the staff are all so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the Map room which was perfect inside and there is a huge balcony looking over the pool and mountains. Best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had - I can’t remember his name but they have a chef making fresh bread and pizza every morning, another chef making fresh omelette, amazing fruits and cakes, coffee. Pool was fantastic, great location. Loved it!

Smoked Salmon and Chocolate and Coffee Bread

Lovely hotel, fabulous breakfast (I'd go back just for the breakfast) and secure bike room. Rooms were spacious with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge with water, assorted soft and alcoholic drinks and safe deposit box. Bathroom was compact and practical. Staff were very pleasant and obliging.

Nothing. Check before asking for laundry service, it comes with a sting in the tail. OUR mistake not the hotels but they did provide a discount on the price which was very welcome.

We were challenged when we asked for additional glasses from the lady at the bar in the evening. We did purchase drinks and water but wanted additional glasses to enjoy a bottle of wine privately.

Breakfast was excellent. Location is very good. Pool, garden and view were lovely.

Pool was a little cold (only heated to 23/24 degrees). Also the bikes on offer for guest use were old city bikes and the breaks were worn out - here I had hoped for better considering the prices.

I had a great stay and can highly recommend this hotel and its location - I will be going back!

There was an extensive choice for the breakfast buffet. I had dinner at the hotel every night, but as the portions on the a la carte menu were so generous, I decided after a few days to opt for the extensive salad buffet instead. It was well worth the money - cost was only 19 euros for three courses. Also, there were usually 6 - 8 desserts to choose from! Hotel baked their own bread/pizzas/cakes/biscuits etc which were all delicious. I had opted for a superior room (one of their 'map' rooms) which, as well as having a laptop safe and a mini bar, had a large private sun terrace (ca. 12 ft x 8 ft).

The only thing I could criticize was the hotel's decor - most items of furniture didn't match, which gave me the impression that several people had been involved in the buying process! To sum up, the decor overall was too quirky for me!

A real boutique feel, with excellent quality, style and amazing service throughout. We were made to feel so welcome... Really great communications with the hotel from the time of the initial booking. A lovely welcome to the hotel, it was very clean, presentable, and felt very luxurious. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, often going out of their way to help, such a great atmosphere. The room was great, cleaned every day and had comfortable beds. The food was simply amazing, such a great range of food and so delicious and fresh. The thing that stood out continually was the attention to detail, those little things matter so much and it was refreshing to see this.

Just little things like the balcony was quite small and the bedside USB plugs didn't seem to work. Also, the usual problem everywhere, finding it hard to get sunbeds as they were all reserved usually straight after breakfast with people not coming to use them until later morning.

Great place to stay in Riva del Garda

We loved Hotel Luise. It is in a very central location, has great, creative themed decor and excellent staff. The highlight was the food. They have excellent breakfasts and dinners. We arrived late, but they were able to seat us and in the mornings they have freshly cooked bread of many kinds. The pool is also great. All of the staff were very helpful and charming.
