Room was tired, in corner and couple Problems in bathroom in different areas. Parking by hotel was full so had to drive right out of services to drive back into services to then park in main parking area

Pleasant clean looking building and rooms

Unbelievably, only one bath towel between two is and no hand towels at all. When asked at reception was told it was company policy. Seemed wrong to us.

Bed was comfy, good shower and warm. basically does what it says on the tin. I had low expectations and to be fair it was moderately better.

there was an continuous electrical beeping that affected sleep. its very basic hotel with minimal soundproofing with corridor door slamming

My room was not that good so it looked like it was in the middle of being painted. I only had 1 towel in my room also. The heater on the wall was placed so close to the wall next to it you couldn’t control the dials or even see them had to take a photo then look at that to put heater on.for a Ramada hotel wasn’t too impressed

Great for a value stay near family. Excellent price, good breakfast. Room great size for 3 people. Shower amazing! Really good atmosphere. Staff were lovely. We would return again

Only minor quibbles - room needed more lights, and also when we put out the sign for our room to be cleaned (as we were there for 2 nights), this was missed by the cleaning staff. However, staff were very apologetic and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We were surprised that you did meals and had both dinner and breakfast which was very helpful and nice.

We parked in the main car park but couldn't drive from there without going back out onto the roundabout and coming in again. It was very puzzling.

Ideal location for onward travel to the south west

Location was what I needed but would appreciate better signage to find the hotel entrance when first coming on site. Although the hotel is visible from the services area, it is not until virtually back on the roundabout, there is a notice, and with arrow, showing the way. The lettering for’coach parking’. Seemed more prominent.

There were ridges in the mattress which I presume were the joint between two single beds where they had been pushed together and the drainage in the bathroom sink was slow emyting which made me wonder if it might overflow. Both of these points Imentioned to reception when I left.

No hot water at all. Our stay was for 2 nights but we had to check out early because of this and informed reception. I emailed requesting a refund as we had also paid for 2 days parking. They said they would look into it and never got back to me. I emailed again via Booking Com and they are now ignoring my emails.

It was easy to get to, checking in was straightforward and the manager on the desk was nice

It was difficult to figure out how to get to the hotel car park from the service station facilities. The noise from the bedroom below was annoying, dust appreciate drum and base at 11:30pm. Fortunately, it stopped by midnight. The bathroom was a little tired, and one of the towels wasn’t completely clean, and there was rubbish in the bin from the previous stay. However, the bed was clean and comfortable The man at the desk was the nicest part of the journey

On-shift staff were excellent, polite and helpful.

Comm area carpets and corridor carpets were unclean and unhoovered, heavily marked and generally in a poor state of repair/ in need of being replaced. Corridor to my room was full of non-smoking rooms however the air was thick with cigarette smoke.

A good "mid range" hotel at a competitive price for travellers

I was expecting a rather more "basic" experience for the money (a competitive £70 compared to nearby places) but the hotel was fully staffed and had lounge/bar/restaurant facilities as well. The room was spacious and well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Good job Ramada. The "Days Inn" chain is also part of the same hotel corporate family and is even more budget-friendly (but with slightly reduced facilities). It's good to see some corporate chains who "get" that some travellers aren't rolling in cash. Well done!
