It was an absolutely excellent stay, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

We booked our stay at this property and were more than happy with everything. It was truly an excellent stay from start to finish. The accommodation was comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The bedding was of amazing quality — crisp, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable, which made for a wonderful night’s sleep. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Gem of a place to stay

I rarely write reviews but Summit Place is a little gem. Safe, supremely comfortable and a wonderful team who make you so welcome. We loved our time here and would definitely return. It really is a little oasis of calm, perfect as a base for exploring Cape Town.

As soon as we arrived we felt like we’d come home! Robyn and Robin the hosts were just the most hospitable and adorable people. We felt so relaxed for the 2 days at the end of our amazing break . The house doggies Hulk and hogan just added to the welcome party. also had the pleasure of meeting the manager kumbe who was also delightful. love the fact you can have the option of doing your own breakfast with self catering facilities in the rooms upstairs. There is so much to see and do in the area so is a perfect place to use as a base. The sun beds by the pool are so comfortable and the pool is well maintained

We enjoyed the relaxed friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and owners. The pool area was great; the twin self-catering suite was fantastic. The whole experience was enjoyable and memorable

The location was great, central for day trips around and close to fantastic restaurants a very short Uber trip away if you like a glass of wine with your dinner. Staff extremely friendly and gave good tips on local walks.

A little Oasis of property..

I’ve stayed at Summit Place before, and again it didn’t disappoint. Though it’s a Guest House, it feels more like a boutique hotel. Rooms are very clean and stylishly designed, great breakfast. For me the top point is the staff there, nothing is too much and super friendly. Now back in the UK in the cold 🥶🥶. Am definitely going to book again when I return to Cape Town..

Loved our stay!

Stayed for a couple of nights with my partner; comfy rooms, big bed and air con in the rooms. Staff were amazing - really enjoyed time chatting to them all, it made the stay. Pool and gardens were great, property felt very secure and it was very well located for local wineries and restaurants. Would 100% stay again!

A little piece of Constantia

Amazing location close to many wine farms, restaurants, shops etc. Nice and quiet street up against the mountain with great rooms, a huge yard and a very friendly dog. The staff were absolutely fabulous and helped us to store luggage for the day after we had checked out.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay, in a really beautiful area, surrounded by the Cape mountains.

Only had one breakfast, but was well prepared and served. Hosts were charming and readily available to advise on local restaurants and attractions.

The only criticism is that the pool , which looked magnificent in promotional pics, was being upgraded, so empty and coping tiles were being cut and replaced - lots of dust and noise. However, when completed , it will be stunning.
