This place is lovely. The location is perfect. Stunning views and the grounds are kept very well. Chris was exceptional in his service to us and looked after us very well.

The team could not have been kinder, clear whattapp communications and a warm welcome. Nothing was a problem. Rooms were huge and the views are quite spectacular. Breakfast was outstanding and plenty of place to park.

Wish I had checked the cupboard - there was a sun umbrella in there for the beach which I would have used.

A perfect place for rewinding and relaxing. 360 degree view of the ocean, very big and comfortable rooms, absolute freedom, very helpful owner and staff.

Heavenly sunsets

The location is heavenly beautiful. We enjoyed the most amazing sunsets. And morning breakfast with ocean view. The apartment (Amalfi) is great and roomy with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom and shower. Owners and staff are very accommodating, and if there was anything , all you needed was to ask. Would love to be back asap.

We had not much to complain about. They have been doing this since the beginning of the year, so they are still new to this, and it's a learning process.

Excellent base on the coast to explore Cape Town and the Cape.

The apartment was lovely, very bright and spacious. The view overlooking the sea was fantastic and the sunsets were incredible. Our apartment opened on to the deck beside the pool and so we had immediate access to sun loungers etc. Breakfast was good with voice of hot and cold dishes. After breakfast, the accommodation is self-catering but there are plenty of great restaurants in Hout Bay which is a 10 minute drive away. We barbecued for ourselves one night which was super. There will also be a bar in the patio area in the coming months, which will be a great advantage as it will avoid driving every evening. Driving in and out of Cape town was very straightforward and took about 20 minutes. Claudio, our host was really helpful and gave us great advise on the area. The area is very safe and I would highly recommend Casa Papale.

One small caveat: You need a car to get around. There are no shops or cafes within walking distance, which wasn’t obvious to us, as Europeans. But once people are aware of that, it is perfect.

Breakfast was Great. Chalene went the 'extra mile' and brought in alternative options for breakfast. Fantastic LARGE swimming pool.

My Wife is disabled. Booking.com did not advise that the ground floor unit was down 42 steps. Parking access / exit was a bit challenging - very steep slopes. There is no liquor licence at the moment. Bring your own beer & wine. Booking.com added R100 x 2 on the payments for this booking. Did not give a reason and refuse to reply to my eMail query.

The perfect place to be

Casa Papale in Llandudno is a very beautiful place to stay in Cape Town. The views are absolutely amazing, especially at sunset. You can see the ocean and mountains right from the property, and it's very peaceful and quiet. The guesthouse is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Claudio and Cheyln, the owners, are super friendly and helpful, and they make you feel right at home. Breakfast was also really good—fresh and tasty every morning. If you're looking for a relaxing place with stunning views, Casa Papale is the perfect spot.

Lieblos

Der Blick ist gigantisch, die Lage am Meer auf dem Hügel wunderschön.

Die Küche war entgegen der Beschreibung wenig ausgefüllt, z.B. gab es lediglich zwei ungleiche Weingläser, Kaffee war entgegen der Beschreibung nicht vorhanden, der Kühlschrank ließ sich nur mit Gewalt schließen. Der Safe im Schlafzimmer war schon länger defekt ( Batterie ausgelaufen). Im Bad waren lauter Abflussfliegen . Bei Ankunft waren die Liegen am Pool völlig durcheinander, die Sonnenschirme bereits abgebaut, lagen am Rande rum. Hinter dem Gebäude war Müll gesammelt. Morgens um 6/ 6:30 Uhr wurde in der Outdoorküche neben den Zimmern lautstark das Personal in den Arbeitstag eingewiesen- Ausschlafen dadurch nicht möglich. Das Frühstück musste am Abend vorher per Bestellformular angemeldet werden, obwohl inbegriffen. Zudem war die Qualität des Frühstücks schlecht und lieblos. Gesamteindruck sehr lieblos. Und ist es ein Rätsel wo die vielen positiven Bewertungen herkommen.

Ein kleines Stück Paradies

Eine wunderbare Lage zwischen 2 herrlichen Stränden (Sandy Bay für Frauen alleine lieber nur bei Tag), der Blick aufs Meer vom Zimmer und der Dusche aus und die sehr freundlichen und immer hilfsbereiten Vermieter, die sich alle Mühe geben die Wünsche ihrer Gäste bestmöglich zu erfüllen!

Unser Aufenthalt im Casa Papale war einfach großartig. Die Lage ist fantastisch und bietet traumhafte Ausblicke, besonders die Sonnenuntergänge über dem Meer sind ein echtes Highlight. Da das Gästehaus außerhalb liegt, ist es ratsam mit dem Auto anzureisen. Die Gegend ist sicher, fussläufig liegen insgesamt zwei zauberhafte Strände. Hier ist darauf hinzuweisen, dass das Gästehaus in der oberen Wohnlage eines Hanges liegt. Die Gastgeber Claudio, samt Familie und Chris waren unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir haben an einem Abend zusätzlich ein Abendessen gebucht. Claudio hat seinen Pizzaofen in der offenen Küche am Pool angemacht und sich mit Chris um alles gekümmert, während wir mit unseren Gästen den Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten. Für alle ein unvergesslicher Abend. Hier nochmals herzlichen Dank dafür. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir hatten insgesamt eine unfassbar tolle Zeit, besser kann man seinen Urlaub kaum verbringen. Absolut empfehlenswert in jeder Hinsicht

Die Lage ist einzigartig.

Traumhafte Lage mit tollem Meerblick. Die Papale Familie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat die Bauarbeiten am Grillplatz nach unsere Beschwerde über Lärm sofort eingestellt, danach konnten wir den Pool ungestört nutzen. Toller Strand ist in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen

Es gibt einen Sonnenschirm, aber keinen schattigen Platz oder Bäume, wo man der Sonne bei Bedarf aus dem Weg gehen kann.
