Very lovely place

A very nice place with amazing staff who from their heart want you to feel welcome and have a nice time, the owner of the place is the same, exceptional good service and always a happy smile and hug if needed😊 The pool area is calm and nice, breakfast amazing, and the cottage we stayed in was really nice and calm.

Meggie was so kind and helpful throughout our stay, the guesthouse and our room, Moyo suite, and has all the necessary facilities and gives you that warm african vibe, we appreciate the gifts for our honeymoon a lot, couldn’t love it more! Definitely recommend.

Did not take the Kronendal breakfast. We self catered and ate breakfast in the small Garden attached to our roo.m

Serene and beautiful

Beautiful grounds, comfortable and stylish accommodation, very private and quiet. The staff at the guest house are utterly fantastic, the breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared to our own request.

What a lovely place with even better people. We would highly recommend it.

Maggie and her staff were awesome. Innocent, Cecelia and the rest were so friendly and welcoming. They made us feel special. Maggie, the owner, runs an excellent establishment and its amazing how everyone genuinely smiles when they greet you. They clearly enjoy what they do.

We had a slight mishap when the gate closed while we were leaving the property and dented the car, but as soon as Maggie heard about it she has it checked out. She was very apologetic.

Fantastic location, great staff, and a comfortable room.

This guest house was immaculate and located in a stunning spot in the hills above Hout Bay. Maggie the owner went out of her way to make our stay perfect, always available at breakfast to help us with our activities for the day. She also introduced us to Pia here beautiful black German Shepherd. Cecilia and Lovinia provide the cleaning and breakfast service and are both wonderful and kind souls always interested in what we were up to and our plans for the day. These girls will make anyone feel part of the family and fed us well and kept our room immaculate, always going the extra mile with presentation of food and the room. We had a minor issue with a blind in the suite and Innocent the handyman came immediately to fix it he too is a star and deserves a big thank you, turning this experience into a positive. Our suite the Protea Suite was very comfortable with ample indoor living space and included a large patio area with views over the mountains surrounding Hout Bay. The guest house ground are also stunning and there is a nicely heated pool to the rear of the property if you want to cool down or have a swim. Finally it is worth mentioning the location. Hout Bay is just far enough outside of the city to be quiet and perfectly positioned for all of the main tourist attractions including these that we experienced: Hout Bay; hiking on Table mountain; Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens; Chapmans Peak drive and the peak itself; Boulders Beach; Cape of Good hope; Muizenberg & St James; Kalk Bay; V & A waterfront; Lions Head; and jonkershoek.

A secluded paradise with exceptional service and a very personal touch

Maggie and her team make you feel like at home with a warm approach and attention to every detail. Excellent breakfasts, peaceful and secluded location, spacious and comfortable room creatively furnished. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town!

Excellent hospitality!

Cecelia went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and happy. She was friendly, helpful and an all round phenomenal host. The property is really beautiful and well maintained. Our room was spacious and had a comfortable bed; great shower and convenient kitchen area. We were also served a delicious breakfast.

The room was exceptional- spacious, light and a great outdoor seating area. The outdoor pool area was very inviting and the water temperature was great! Maggie and Cecilia were very friendly, welcoming and efficient- always attentive to our needs.

The perfect place for a staying!

Me and my husband stayed for the New Year’s Eve and it was amazing. The owner Maggie is fantastic, a lovely person. The staff in incredible, thoughtful to the very detail. The flat is perfect, has everything you need and more. We got the Loft and the balcony there was something else! My husband got sick during the staying and they were so kind to help him with everything he needed. The breakfast is fantastic. It’s a really 5 starts guesthouse. Go and check for yourself!

Perfect stay in a wonderful place with super hosts.

Perfect location. Cecilia and Maggie were super hosts and upgraded us.They are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The accommodation was so luxurious and we felt very spoiled.

Great, relaxing and comfortable stay

My wife and I spent the beginning leg of our honeymoon at Kronendal. It was lovely. Maggie, Cecilia, Lovia and innocent were very helpful and welcoming. The entire property is run by renewable energy resources. We stayed at the Loft suite and it was comfortable, private and clean. I will definitely reccomend Kronendal Heritage to everyone who visits Hout bay

Schon bei der Ankunft haben wir gespürt, dass dieser Ort etwas ganz Besonderes ist. Die Unterkunft ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe eingerichtet und vermittelt sofort ein Gefühl von Geborgenheit und Ruhe. Maggie und ihr wundervolles Team waren jederzeit für uns da, aufmerksam, herzlich und immer darum bemüht, dass es uns an nichts fehlt. Das morgendliche Frühstück war schlichtweg sensationell und ein täglicher Genuss. Immer wieder wurde liebevoll nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist – wir haben uns nicht wie Gäste, sondern wie zuhause gefühlt.

Dass man irgendwann wieder abreisen musste.

Die Suite war super geräumig, die Betten mega bequem und das Frühstück ein Traum – frisch und genau nach unseren Wünschen. Maggie und Cecilia sind zwei Herzensmenschen – so freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam. Auch wenn wir sicher keine einfachen Gäste waren, hat alles perfekt geklappt. Vielen Dank für alles – besonders zum Geburtstag meines Mannes :). Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Man hört die Straße auf der Terasse etwas. Uns hat es aber nicht wirklich gestört.
