Safe, comfortable place. Helpful, friendly staff.

Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful. Especially the lady with the special needs 29 y/o daughter. Her suggestions concerning walking around old Bernkastle and the Restaurant / Car museum were excellent. She is personable and Professional. God Bless Her. We would stay again and recommend. Great hotel a little outside Bernkastel w amazing breakfast

Location is great, right by river (if you have car or a bike); the rooms are not fancy but beds are comfortable and all super clean, with aircon and a large bed and bathroom. The breakfast was super nice - loved the delicious scrambled eggs, the ability to make fresh carrot and apple juice, delicious croissants and all over a great selection of sweet and savoury. The staff were super friendly and helpful and there was an honesty bar if you wanted to drink something at night . Bernkastel which we thought is the nicest village/town on the Mosel is a 5min dive away.

It wasn’t a problem but more to be aware off is that there is no staff in the evenings , rooms were nice but maybe didn’t have the most character . But we loved our stay :)

Very clean and nice room with a large bathroom and a nice terrace. The view is beautiful. The staff is friendly and professional. I would stay there again. Everything went smoothly.

The accommodation was good, wi-fi excellent, would stay again.

Wi-fi was fabulous, important as I was working online during my stay. Breakfast was lovely, a lot and well balanced although the coffee machine broke the day before my arrival and filtered coffee was offered.

Can't really think of anything but in case this is relevant to anyone, there is no lift. I can't remember being given the option of alternative breakfast options like vegan/vegetarian/gluten free etc.. Price maybe a bit higher than other properties of similar standard.

Nothing can beat the view on the vineyard slope with the famous sundial clock on the other side of Mosel. Hotel is extremely clean and the breakfasts are amazing with lots of choice and tasty fresh bread. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely relaxing location.

Friendly staff and professional attitude towards Covid restrictions. Beautiful setting on the Moselle. Particularly enjoyed the 'honesty' bar and garden you could sit and have a drink in, overlooking the Moselle. Breakfast was a high standard and again with a lovely view. Bikes were available to hire. I would definitely go back again.

Exellente Lage an der Mosel. Schönes ruhiges Zimmer mit Blick auf die Mosel. Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Sehr freundliche Inhaber und guter zuvorkommender Service. Gutes Frühstück im Frühstücksraum mit Blick auf die Mosel.

Unsere Erwartungen haben sich nur teilweise erfüllt.

Sauberkeit und Lage sehr gut, freundliches und auch sehr bemühtes Personal, gute Unterstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder.

1. Anreise/Einchecken "unpersönlich" (einfach niemand da!); falscher Schlüssel war hinterlegt, keine weiteren Informationen, keine Nachfragemöglichkeit beim Eintreffen, keine Info welches Zimmer; morgens war man sehr erstaunt, dass wir da waren. 2. "SPA"-Möglichkeiten - die für uns buchungsrelevant war - nur für 25 € pro Person und nur bei Vorabterminierung möglich. 3. Kein Frühstücksbuffet wie in der Buchungsinfo angegeben, sondern nur vorbereitete Aufschnittteller (zwar verständlich bei der aktuellen "Nicht Vollbelegung", fehlte uns aber doch). 4. Zusätzlich noch Gebühren für den Parkplatz pro Nacht.

Super Frühstück, erstklassige Lage direkt an der Mosel, besser geht nicht. Fähranleger fast vor der Tür. Busverbindung war auch Klasse.

- helles,, sauberes Zimmer - schlichte Einrichtung (auf unnötigen Kitsch wurde verzichtet) - sehr schöne, sehr ruhige Lage direkt an der Mosel (nur eine kleine, sehr selten befahrene Lokalstrasse dazwischen) - die Reception ist unbedient, Check-in-Prozedere ist gut geregelt - gutes Frühstück

- die Dusche ist etwar gar klein geraten - der Aufpreis für den Parkplatz vor dem Haus ist etwas kleinlich

Prima ontbijt, heerlijk uitzicht, rustige straat dus geen lawaai van omgevingsverkeer en een prima hotel om van daaruit de omgeving te verkennen.

Het zou fijn zijn wanneer er vliegenhorren voor de ramen zouden zitten. Dan kun je ‘s nachts de ramen open laten bij warm weer.

Sobere kamer, terwijl de kamer op zich ruim en netjes was. Verfraaiing aan de muur zou het perfect maken. Nu meer een ziekenhuiskamer. Er was geen plankje in de douchecabine, wat wel aan te raden is

Perfekter Aufenthalt an der Mosel

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Sonnenuhr in Wehlen war durchwegs angenehm. Die Zimmer sind bequem, gemütlich und sehr sauber, das ganze Haus wirkt gepflegt und liebevoll geführt. Besonders praktisch fanden wir die abschliessbare Fahrrad-Garage mit Stromanschlüssen für E-Bikes – ideal für unsere Touren entlang der Mosel. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Fluss, ruhig und dennoch zentral, perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für ausgedehnte E-Bike- und Wandertouren. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein Highlight: reichhaltig, frisch und lecker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Unser Zimmer lag nach hinten und hatte einen eher schmalen Balkon ohne besondere Aussicht. Durch den Self-Check-in und die moderne Abwicklung gab es wenig persönlichen Kontakt zu den Gastgebern – wer den Austausch sucht, könnte das vermissen.
