The building is beautiful. The room is beautiful. The staff is too casual for such a place. Waiting for dinner and especially for breakfast is not ok. Thank you

Beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Bed was comfortabel. Very good breakfast and diner.

Loved the place but the room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and not only was there no elevator but the stair case was very narrow and difficult to bring the luggage up. We still loved it and understand the way it is looks better so it’s not a con, just think it’s good to know, specially for people traveling with small children like we did.

The property was fabulous and so pretty. Rosa checked us in and was so patient telling us what the area around us offered. The young lady who manages the restaurant was also amazing. Would definitely stay here again and again.

beautiful castle in most of its original condition. Very special hotel experience. Wonderfully kept up. Large very comfortable rooms. However, we ate in their very expensive restaurant and they seemed to get all of our orders wrong. Everything came out not as we ordered. Unfortunately I suffer with very bad food allergies and even though I went over everything with the waitress she still got it all wrong. I didn't know until I had a very bad reaction. For the caliber of hotel and the prices in that reataurant nothing should have been wrong. There was only 2 other tables dining at the time. The hotel is worth it but I wouldn't eat there again

I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. They recommended great options for outings and helped me with shipping a parcel back to the US. The breakfast was really good (one of the best during my two weeks in Germany.) Beautiful property and the room was clean and well maintained. Would recommend and return.

The overall classic feel of a castle and enourmous rooms. The incredible included spa with pool, sauna's. You really are treated here like royalty.

Upon check-in, we were provided with Room 400, which was of extremely poor quality. Despite our concerns and feedback to front desks and Hotel.com, the hotel refused to change our room, citing overbooking as the reason( which we found out from hotels.com when they spoke to front desk. There were rooms available on the Marriott site so we know this was not true.) The room’s window is very small and offers a view only if you stand directly in front of it, which is hardly what one would consider a "Mosel view." When we requested a room change, we were only offered a lower category room, as the hotel claimed to be overbooked in the category we had booked. This room is supposed to be the third category above a room with no view, following the vineyard view, and then the Mosel view. However, the description of this room as having a Mosel view is misleading. Based on the photos, it should be classified as a side-view room at best. The most disappointing aspect was how poorly the front desk handled the situation. Their nonchalant approach to problem-solving does not reflect well on their hospitality standards. Further to this, Their aircon was not functioning well with winter duvets and therefore was a very uncomfortable night, followed by the noise of the air con! The water Pressure was also poor.

The hotel has two blocks facing the Mosel with three floors each, yet we were assigned this subpar room on the fourth floor, supposedly offering a Mosel view. Additional issues

Beautiful location in small town of Lieser. Nice rooms and super comfortable beds. No minibar in room which is not suitable for this level of hotel. Service two-folded, partly excellent, partly very poor and misleading guidances. Spa and sauna not open and ready in the morning despite customer promise.

Unbelievable property. Excellent service, excellent restaurant, breakfast was great. Top notch and well worth the money.

Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff, great restaurants onsite and in the surrounding area, easy access to endless biking paths on both sides of the Mosel River.

This is a must see and stay type of hotel. Very elegant and pristine condition. Celebrated my 50th birthday in this beautiful establishment.

Not much to say really - 5 star, and they were all well deserved.

Our stay was amazing. We really enjoyed the ease of check-in and the comfort of our room. The access to wine tasting and restaurants was also very convenient.

Lovely, picturesque castle that is now a hotel. Wonderful staff. Nice pool and spa area, although one sauna out of service. Few things could use updating and no elevator to the fourth floor, but great views of the vineyards. Close to drive to many nearby wineries. Not much in the city and not many restaurants open in January, but (limited) options at hotel bar and restaurant that are good.

Absolutely wonderful from first steps inside…GREAT staff, felt most welcome and appreciated, the whole place has that WOW factor…immaculate restoration some time ago and superbly maintained…too many great features to list…everywhere and everything was exceptional.

Nice hotel but dinner quality was not to our expectations. The place need a better chef.

Very beautiful landscape and so peaceful

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is nice with a decent selection of items in the buffet and made to order. I was disappointed that some services were not available although they were advertised on the welcome screen. Food options are limited after breakfast. Also, the hotel still seems to be dealing with staffing shortages, sometimes the reception desk was not staffed, no help with bags when checking in or out.

Hotel was beautiful — both inside & out!!! Staff was absolutely terrific, food was very good, and we can’t wait to return.

What a beautifully restored building, every little detail is just right. Rosa on reception and Martin in restaurant Puricelli were lovely, as were all the staff. What a place, we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

All was excellent, but they could not arrange a table on their restaurant For dinner.

It was amazing! Great staff, great service!amazing food and time!

Great place with a lot of atmosphere. The restaurant was also very nice and we basically managed to go more or less through the entire menu. Would have loved if the service would have been more focused (with the wines and the speed between the course). During our stay, the weather was very nice and we would ave loved, if the place would have had some outdoor facilities (such as sun beds)

Just an incredible experience staying at this "castle resort". Every single staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated with the softest bed. We had breakfast and dinner on site which were delightful and satisfying. The spa amenities was a nice cherry on top...gym fully equipped, multiple sauna rooms each with a different temperature, and an infrared room for treatments. We had a good time.

Great Schloss, great food, nice Spa and super service and very friendly staff. We will come back one day.
