It was a convenient place to stay for visiting friends in Prestwick and Ayr

Cosy twin bedded and sofa bed property, close to the rail station, town and beach, with space to park the car at the front of the house. Owner very helpful when I had to change the number of guests, with no extra charge.

We found it was too warm for us so we turned the radiators down but the bedroom one stayed hot. However I would rather have a property too warm than really cold.

Cottage so handy for all amenities

So handy for beach, train station as we left our car at our local train station also town centre cottage was ideal for a few days away 😀

No oven did not bother us as we were only there for a few days and ate out however if there longer I would prefer to have a oven although there was a microwave

A wonderful stay in Prestwick

A small cozy cottage, surprisingly comfortable and warm and in an ideal location. Very close to the beach and not far from the town center. It should be advertised as friendly to people with mobility issues (no stairs, very easy access). Very nice and helpful hosts, too. I am delighted and will gladly return here.

Simply fabulous

What can I say, the cottage was very well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the location was very quiet, what more could you ask for? with just a short walk to a fantastic beach where Jasper got to practice lots of zoomies and made new fabulous doggy friends followed by coffee and ice cream at the café. The local people were really friendly and made lots of fuss of Jasper. Neil was a fabulous host, although there was nothing I needed, I got the impression that he would go above and beyond if there were any issues. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Nitpicking here would have preferred a table, couldn't get legs under breakfast bar.

The owners need to think more of comfort and holiday needs for tourists staying.

I liked the location of the cottage. Very close to the golf courses and beach. Shopping and superstores quite close to the apartment. Parking on site. A quite location which was nice and also Netflix which was a surprise.

Where do I start?? On arriving, and every day there we dog poo poos always in the driveway and on the gravel. Often not cleaned up by the property owner. The apartment was of a good size but there was only one bin liner for the week, 2 spoons, 2 teaspoons, 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 side plates, 2 large plates etc, etc. Very minimalistic unfortunately. A bit more thought would have made it more enjoyable in the kitchen. 1 toilet roll for the week !!!!! A bit more thought would have been good from the owners. Also the bed mattress was not comfortable at all. We both ended up with back aches after 2 days and couldn’t wait to go home for a nice nights sleep. Also the table was not comfortable to sit at while eating as you couldn’t put your legs under the table.

Bedroom is very snug but is as advertised. Q&A suggests garden is secure but dogs can get out on to road if off lead.

We had a perfect weekend break away.

The property was spotless. It was so comfortable with everything you could want in there. Two minutes from the beach, the station, shops. Opposite the golf course. The hosts were lovely. Def on the list to stay at again.

A ripper place to stay

The location was brilliant - 2 minutes walk to the train station, 2 minutes walk in the opposite direction to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The cottage was fully self-contained and very comfortable. There was also a laundry for guests to use for free. The owner (Neal) was very friendly. It was so good we stayed 2 extra nights over our initially booked 3 nights.

Lovely cottage in a great location!

Perfect location near the beach and all amenities are less than a 10 minute walk. Neil is a great host and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage had everything that we needed for our stay and we would highly recommend.
