Left early and will not go back.it was not value for the money

First impressions were very positive — the accommodation looked perfect and stylish. However, we soon realised it was not as represented.

We booked this apartment paying for two rooms with double beds, but both rooms had two single beds pushed together. I found the bed comfortable, but my husband’s sleep was disturbed as he kept sliding into the gap between the mattresses. The listing felt misleading, and this is a main reason I wouldn’t stay here again. Other issues included only one cup for tea or coffee, mould in the shower of the bedroom’s bathroom, and windows in the main living area that do not close properly. I also received a follow-up call from staff asking if I enjoyed my stay. When I highlighted these issues, I was disappointed to be told I would need to email the owner. It felt pointless to call if concerns aren’t escalated directly. Overall, while some aspects were fine, I would not book this apartment again.

Good location .

Location, ease of access. Very quiet apart from windows. Parking.

External doors and windows very noisy when windy, didn’t close properly. Faulty blind in main bedroom, no privacy,when reported no action taken.

Lovely space, needs a bit of tlc

The living area was really lovely, big and spacious, as were the two bedrooms and very close to the town centre.

The bathrooms were a bit dated and the whole place needed a few repairs. The shower door was half falling off and the blinds pulleys were all loose too. It was a shame about these little things because the decor otherwise was lovely. The crockery seemed a bit scarce, for example there was only two mugs, which was fine as there was only two of us but for two couples staying they might have to take turns for cups of tea! My friend commented that the TV was a little small for the size of the room but that bothered me a bit less!

Very unpleasant and disappointing.

It’s hard to find anything that we liked about the property when there were so many things that overshadowed this.

- We called a week before hand to say that they could not give us the property that we booked with no explanation as to why. - The flat had an awful odour when we entered. - WiFi code and password on the information card provided was incorrect, with the correct details on the modem (this was only realised after 15minutes of battling with the incorrect details) which was disconnected. - One of the dining chair legs is broken (needing a bolt tightened) so we were unable to use it. - The lamp next to the TV didn’t work. - There is only one bathroom with a shower: this is not suitable for four adults sharing. The second bathroom has a bath but this is completely impractical. - There are scuff marks all over the walls and marks on the carpet. - As we were leaving the apartment in the morning the corridor had a very overwhelming smell of weed, it’s apparent that one of the neighbouring apartments were or had been smoking adding to our very unpleasant stay.

Shore View Prestwick

Location was fine.

We were called on the 9th of May (5 days ahead of our stay) to say that the 2 bed, 2 bathroom flat we booked way back in December was now "offline" and no longer available. We were instead given the option to move to a 1 bed 1 bathroom apartment in Ayr or a 2 bed, 1 bathroom apartment in neighbouring Prestwick. We would have cancelled at that point but, with such short notice ahead of a wedding, we felt we had little option other than to accept the latter. The flat we were moved to (Shore View Prestwick) is generally pretty shabby and grubby, and poorly maintained: Bathroom main light very dim Bathroom mirror light not working - looks like there's no bulb in it Bathroom fan not working Fridge light not working Part of broken kitchen plinth lying on floor No dressing table in either bedroom No handles on the main bedroom wardrobe doors Cigarette ends all around the front door and seating area On top of all that, there was the constant noise of our upstairs neighbours stomping about.

Very spacious/ modern apartment with everything you need for a relaxed stay. It was a home from home.

Enjoyable stay, nice apartment but needs some TLC. Overpriced

Location was good. The apartment was a bit tired and in need of some tlc. I felt it was over priced at £292.00 for two nights.

The apartment was nice but in need of some TLC On arrival there was a really bad smell coming from the en suite bathroom. The ceiling in the living room needs addressed and the en suite bathroom has been patched up with paint and filler and is quite dirty looking.

Lovely clean apartment.

We booked this on the day we arrived. The apartment is spacious and was clean. Beds were very comfortable. The area isn't the best looking, but you are walking distance to shops, transport and all amenities. Great base for exploring Ayr.

Please get proper internal door stops! Kitchen was lovely but could really do with more cutlery, plates, glasses and pans. Also more kitchen utensils would have been nice. Netflix would have been nice and a DVD player. Overall a lovely apartment just needs a few finer touches.
