Not pleasant- won’t be using these apartments again.

Not much I did complain and they offered a small compensation of a discount to stay again which of course I will not be, so useless. They also make you pay £20 breakage which I did not know about. I asked for this to be refunded at the very least and they did not offer. I felt their email back was rude and condescending.

Not a nice location, not clean, blinds broken my husband had to fix. Too much light coming in which woke us up early alongside the workmen on Monday morning as there’s a building site behind it.

Ok but could be much better

Excellent location for a trip to the races.

Apartment needs a deep clean and modernised. Shower cabinet in bedroom needs replaced urgently as unfit for purpose.

I would stay again if ever visiting the area.

Everything we needed for a short stay. Beds were very comfortable.

The TV didn’t work. The staff were amazing and messaged me straight back to try to sort it. It was late on Friday evening so I didn’t bother to pursue it.

Thought i could have been notified before arrival about the waiver was a must otherwise everything else excellent. Also the tv had 4 remotes which none of them worked we personally were not down for thet but if I had kids with me would have been a big problem

my review is for another apartment the arran view. we got call about an issue,staff was so sincere and apologised and offered us the arran view that property was superb clean comfortable beds the whole apartment was lovely. I’m 100% sure the original property would no doubt be of the same standard. will defo use donnini again for our next stay in Ayr

The place looked nice and big just what we needed had everything in that we needed

We were moved to a different apartment the before are arriving 22 the double bed were 2 singles push together the carpet were full of stains and wood chipping of the side board in kitchen some bath towels had stains on could open the windows and sofa bed was not set up for as requested because we were getting there at tea time apart from that was a lovely apartment just a couple of things let it down and mold in bathroom and shower room in one of the bedroom

This is a lovely flat in a convenient location. We'd happily stay there again.

The back up from the Donnini Apartments staff when things went wrong was very good, they were extremely helpful. The flat itself is very nice, and was very comfortable.

There were a couple of faults on arrival which shouldn't be allowed to happen. One of the toilets and the tumbler dryer were not working. The office staff were unaware of this and leapt into action as best they could but the latter problem persisted throughout our stay.

Good comfortable stay, good contact with the vendor.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment with ample parking, easy to find and close walking distance to the town centre and beach, there is a supermarket close by.

I think this apartment pretty much met my expectations a very slight observation is that the apartment was maybe due for a deep clean and the ceilings above the bath and shower were a bit discoloured, probably due to previous guests not switching on the extractor fans.

Lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable. Very spacious and great location.

No instructions for anything so left to try and figure out heating, hot water etc. With the result that the heating never went off and we had no hot water. Also no cleaning basics supplied like washing up liquid or even a cloth to wipe down surfaces.

Riverside stay with family

Spacious, clean, comfortable beds.

There is a very definite constant smell of drains in the main bathroom, no teabags or sweeteners had been left for us in the holder. Television was fairly small for size of lounge area. Shower cubicle in en-suite needs some attention. Outside door/buzzer entry not secure, just pull to open so needs fixed.

Incredibly comfortable beds, well proportioned, having an ensuite shower and a family bathroom were wonderful, clean.

From staying in other self catering places, I would suggest that having some information leaflets or a folder with helpful information about the area (what to visit, nearest shops) as well as pertinent instructions about the apartment (how to leave the flat ... bedding, towels, etc; how to work the dishwasher, where the tablets were, instructions for the washing machine). Also small things like salt or vegetable oil would have been a helpful thing to have in the cupboard.
