I liked the appartment itself, cleanliness and the location.

I dont like the overall experience with the communication prior to our arrival. The customer experience with Booking got really worse. We used to have direct communication with appartment personel via booking messages. Now with AI communication is fast but low quality. Different informations about PIN, entrance etc is via Booking, Gmail, Whattsapp, which is confusing and time consuming for someone who's booking is for leisure. Proper information is done few hours before arrival which is not good.

Perfect Stay!

Easy check-in, even during the middle of the night, large parking garage, kitchen

AC at 21 degrees would have been cold enough Was set to 17 degrees upon arrival This of course, is a very subjective topic, however, if somebody needs it cooler, the AC will do that within minutes . Keeping it close to normal room temperature also saves energy.

Generous - in giving just - just a PASS mark :

The walk, from the Bahnhof some "mean" - 20 minutes "leisurely" paced, last part slightly up-hill with suitcases, pleasant. It gave an insight, a "feeling" of the historic smallish in size "old town" of Villach. Climatically - needs attention at the time of year you book or intend to visit and stay at City Apartments - if you arrive by train or bus. Location of the apartment, provided pleasant "exploitation" venues in Villach. Supermarket location just 5 minutes walk, and the Bar/Restaurant next door to the apartment building - Pleasant, that at its rear is an outside eating/drinking addition.

Room size that the double bed, to enter it from one side up against a cupboard attached to the kitchenette & wall near impossibility without sitting, on the foot of the bed - your back to the bed head and manoeuvring your body up-wards - to the pillow position. We booked a room with a Balcony. Sadly, the attached balcony - large enough for (2) two people pleasant, nothing "special" in view(s) did not initially come with a table and (2) two chairs. I immediately objected by sms message to City Apartments. There response PROMPT, stating that table and chairs on the balcony only provided for "long term" reservations. We pre-booked - for a (2) two night stay. I objected exampling FACT that the apartments below and above ours - to the left of ours ALL empty like 15 other apartments and this "policy" was REDICULOS and requested immediate attention to my request. Our request was Facilitated meet. We within an hour provided a table and (2) two chairs for the balcony, which we greatly appreciated. If you are a LOVER of a "morning" Coffee as we are - be mindful of the Coffee machine in the apartment - the type of capsules of coffee it ONLY takes. In the foyer next to the elevator YOU can purchase them from the vending machine. NO - tea towel to dry dirty dishes just hand paper towel - Disliked. NO - Box of tissues in the Bath-room - Disliked. NO - Soup ladel to "serve" prepared soup into your bowl. "Matured" aged residents, or those with mobility impairment, those who may be "overweighted" - recommended application of thought prior to booking should be seriously undertaken - Considered. Overall - our apartment was "Dog Box" in size - that we tolerated justly our (2) two night stay.

Clean apartment, excellent location

Excellent location, outstanding cleanness! The offered bakery and restaurants are really outstanding!

Air conditioner has a small motor to remove condense water. This starts periodically, making noise. If you are a hard-to-fall-asleep guy, this will not simplify your evenings. The blankets were a bit too warm and the beds were - at least for us - too soft. The parking spaces are very-very limited! If you arrive late, you won't find any free place left, and the only thing you can do is to walk 10-15 minutes between a public, open parking place and your apartment. This is almost impossible if you are arriving with a baby.

1/ Rather confusing check-in based only on video explaining where to collect keys, how to etner the garage, how to enter the appartement (all slightly different ways of access to the property), unfortunately no assistant on the spot 2/ PIN-codes of the reservation from booking (sent via Booking app) differ from codes sent by the managing service of the appartement (via Whats App) 3/ no guarantee of parking space in the garage, even, if you booked it for your car

Well equipped, clean, everything we need was there. In the center of Villach, including car park place, next to the inner city. Newly built appartements, built specifically for this purpose.

Maybe, the garage can be reached on pedestrian walkways, a bit narrow, sometimes crowded.

The location was good. It was near supermarket and it is close to the center of the city

The Air conditioner is only one small which is in the living room, no air conditioners in the rooms. Rooms are small. It is difficult to get into the parking , very narrow space, When checking out the staff was bit rude calling and threatening that we have to leave , the check out was too early at 10 am !

Super apartment in the center

The apartment was well situated, spacious and comfortable. Though in the city center, the street where the windows were looking was quiet. Having a garage was great too.

Nice Studio Apartment, in the heart of Old Town with a garage.

The location in the heart of Old Town cannot be beat, and they have a garage. The bed was comfortable, balcony and kitchenette were a plus.

Our unit had the bed up against a wall on one side without a bedside table on that side. It was very inconvenient to get in and out of bed if your spouse is sleeping and no option to charge a telephone, or a table for a cup of coffee. The bed and the one bedside table was fixed and couldn’t be moved but easily could be relocated away from the wall by 30 cm, add a 2nd table, and electric plugs. The maids job would be easier too!

Spacious modern Apartment in the Town Centre

We were delighted with our lovely apartment in Villach. It was spacious and modern, the bed was very comfortable and the apartment had good sound proofing, we slept well. The kitchen area with hob, kettle, fridge etc had everything we needed and the ensuite shower worked well. There was no reception but the management were always swift to respond to us via whats app. When I sent a message to say I was disappointed that the budget room I had booked was in the basement ( no mention of this on Booking.com) they were very helpful in moving us to another room. We loved the location, just a couple of minutes walk from centre and 10 minutes walk from the station.

Apartment is absolutely amazing - spacious, clean, very well equipped with toaster, dish washer and kettle. Covered garage space accessible only to guests is amazing as well. As a bonus, private space in the basement which can be used as a skis storage is pretty handy after whole day of skiing. Location of the apartment is perfect, in the quiet, pedestrian zone of Villach center. Just couple of steps from the apartment there are numerous stores, bakeries and restaurants.

Nice apartment with a great location

Visited in December so the location was perfect for visiting Christmas markets, only a minute of walking. Comfortable and warm apartment, coffee machine with coffee and tea was a nice addition. Garage on site.
