Beautiful location

Beautiful villa on the hill overlooking Saint Sofija church and views of old town and lake. Comfortable beds, showers and easy to move around. We parked our car right out the front so very convenient. We were there in winter and it was cosy to watch the snow fall over the town. The manager was all very helpful.

Best view with the perfect location in an immaculate property.

It was an amazing location and when arriving it appeared as Villa Sofija was either brand new or incredibly well maintained. Svetlana greeted us so warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. The view has to be the best or one of the best in Ohrid. Our room was spacious and stunning. It was all just so perfect.

Very well maintained property. Perfect location. We were very well looked after. The extra little touches were welcomed! Comfortable beds. Magnificent views! Great communication before and during our stay. Extended check out time for us as later pick up! Very easy to deal with! Really nice girl looked after us. Highly recommend and would def stay here again!!

Just for information - it’s at a high point in the old town. Wouldn’t be good for anyone with mobility issues as steps etc.

Lovely hotel in a great location in the Old Town. We had a room with balcony & seaview, and parking down below. Svetlana is very helpful and super nice. Definitely recommend

Amazing property

The property was clean with a very central location. Car park next to property so easy access for driving. Svetlana was very helpful. Rooms were big and the views were amazing from the balcony. No breakfast but wasn’t a problem as very close to lovely cafes and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in lake ohrid and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful room and extremely cozy, The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. The staff was very helpful and responsive. View from the balcony and windows was great. Highly recommend!

Be aware that the old town area is on a hill, so be prepared to climb a few stairs.

Great location and beautiful view. Staff was very responsive and accommodating and met us at the gate to let us in with a very late arrival. Good working A/C. There was Nescafé and granola bars in the room.

I’ve stayed in many places throughout my life, but this was truly the best! It's run by such a sweet and sincere family that you immediately feel at home. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. Their warm hospitality, thoughtful treats, and the cozy atmosphere completely won us over. 💕 The location is perfect, and if you stay in a lake view room, waking up in the morning becomes a magical experience! 🌅 Everything was spotless and felt brand new — and the room was exceptionally comfortable. It’s really hard to put into words, but this place is so much more than just a vacation spot… Peace, beauty, kindness, and quality all come together here! 🫠 Definitely choose a lake view room and enjoy one of the most peaceful and unforgettable holidays of your life! An Exceptional Stay!

The hotel is beautiful, with absolutely stunning views over the lake. The owners were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded us to a room with a private balcony and an even more breathtaking view. The neighborhood is charming, though driving through the narrow cobblestone streets can be a bit tricky, but the manager’s partner kindly parked the car for us, which was a huge help. Everything was perfect: the location, cleanliness, and hospitality. A special mention to the manager, who has been extremely kind and is even helping me recover a ring I accidentally left behind. Truly above and beyond: THANK YOU!

Excellent large villa with great view

Svetlana welcomed us to the villa and helped us get settled. She made great recommendations for activities and dinner. The room was very large with a full kitchen and very comfortable bed. Beautiful view with many windows overlooking Saint Sofia and lake

Our room had a terrace with a lake view, it was just great. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was small but had everything needed. Svetlana took care of the guests and answered quickly to messages. Location was very good in the old town, in the peaceful surrounding.

There is no breakfast available, but several options in the town (however not opening before 8-9, if you have an early start of the day).
