Good place to stay

Was lucky i got the lake facing room. Room was big for solo traveller and it was great. Breakfast was ok to have something in your stomach but not that good. Overall was good place to stay.

Though the room was big but wasnt clean properly. The toilet bowl had a tagged that it was disinfected but can clearly see stains on it which could easily removed with wet tissue. Hairs hanging at the the shower which indicated it was not really properly cleaned.

Location is perfect, just 300 m from the main Ohrid square and harbor.

Room was very good, freshly renovated and good size, bathroom spotlessly clean. Breakfast excellent covering all standard requirement. Reception staff very helpful. I have not tried SPA. Location is perfect, just 300 m from the main Ohrid square and harbor.

I had a problem with booking confirmation. the same credit card that is recorded at Booking.com web page and used for more than 10 years booking hotels from Greece, Croatia, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Bulgaria Serbia, Albania have not been accepted by the hotel asking for same additional pin no. and not standard cvv no. that i am always submitting. Finaly, I made bank transfer to confirm my booking of 3 rooms.

Bad

The location and the breakfast

It's was terrible we were whit 1.5 year old boy and on the same floor there was a live music whit drums for a wedding. And the guest was drinking on the doorway. We call before booking they know that we are whit baby and they didn't tell us. When I complain they say they can not help me it's a weeding. The weeding wasn't in this hotel just the bride. Never again poor management

Location and newly recently renovated

The air conditioning didn’t function appropriately. The staff controlled the room temperature despite my settings inside the room. That resulted in temperatures exceeding 30 Celsius while inside the room and the staff responded that the air conditioning is new and functioning. At some points after a lot of complains of me and my family members they decreased the temperature to lower values that were refreshing. I felt like being pulling my leg. They kept saying they are professional and they know their work!

Hotel is in a great spot and would recommend 3 days max in Ohrid, no longer.

Hotel is right on the water close to the center, very good location but got a bit noisy because of it's location. The restaurant had good food and was nice with live music in the evenings. Overall it was a nice place and we had a great view from our room, we had one of the front water view rooms on the 3rd floor.

Parking was on property but had to pay daily and it was tight trying to get in and out and they had to open it every time you came and went.

Great hotel

It is a great hotel which I would recommend. The hotel was clean and well-maintained inside. The location on the lake shore close to the Old City was great. The staff were friendly.

There were 2 simple fixes that would make the hotel even better: 1 - the coffee served with breakfast was absolutely awful. It is possible to order and pay for coffee which was fine. But serving coffee of a reasonable standard is such an easy thing to get right. 2 - there was no conditioner in the room - only shampoo and soap. Overall these were both minor points. I would recommend take conditioner and buy coffee - it is still worthwhile staying at this lovely hotel.

City break in nice place of Ohrid

We could park our rental-car easily at the front of the hotel (Without prior booking) and no extra charges apply. Hotel is located in center and everything is in walking distance. Housekeeping staff is very friendly. Everything is clean. We stayed on 3rd. Floor. At the end of the hallway you could overlook the lake. We also had a view from our room. Shower is great(including rainshower). Airco in the room is working perfectly.

Our personal opinion is that beds can be better. It was also a pity that it were 2 separate beds instead of one double bed. Breakfast was really poor, very poor in terms of quality and choice. Not acceptable for such a hotel. The staff during breakfast was not interested in any of the guests at all. Left-overs from night before could still be found on the way to breakfast. I pointed out moldy strawberries to staff and asked for removal. We stayed in the weekend and the hotel had some parties during this time. Band playing music and thus a lot of noise till late. Better not sell beds to guests on such an event. Either you are a hotel and try to comfort and surprise your guests in best way or you are a banquet hall serving guests food, drinks and music. But of course you know yourself.

I would not recommend this place

Perfect location, very close to the city center. The rooms were clean and renovated.

Extremely noisy restaurant on the first floor that kept us awake until late at night. No one told us that we’re going to pay more money for lake view and night club at the same time.

not to be missed

the location of the hotel is beautiful and worth all the money. on the open terrace you could serve coffee and other drinks from the bar during the day, and in the evening dinner at the restaurant with live music. from the hotel till the center is about 2 minutes walk.

The parking situation and organization was horrible. People parking everywhere and blocking the entrance. AC was not working and so too warm in the room.
