We enjoyed our stay and the views from the penthouse apartment

Lake view, location, Breakfast was awesome and freshly prepared, The penthouse was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

The telephone line to contact reception didn’t work due to some technical disruption. We waited for the sofa bed to be prepared for our kids as informed by reception but even by 9:30 pm it was not prepared and i had to go to the reception to let them know. They took prompt action after that and it was done.

Lake facing property, lots of dinning options nearby, walking distance to old bazaar.

We stayed in room 305 and it had some foul smell from the drainage. Upon request the hotel did spray air freshener.

Handbag “thrown away by mistake”, and nothing done about it !!

I’ve been visiting Tino for years, and I’ve built many good memories in this place. Unfortunately, all of this changed with my last visit… I was travelling with my family to Ohrid for a special occasion and we stayed here. At checkout, in the rush of packing and taking my suitcase and backpack, I accidentally left my handbag in the room. It contained cash, cards, personal documents, and other important valuables. I realised this 2–3 hours after leaving and called the hotel immediately, but I was told they had not found any handbag. Since nothing was resolved over the phone, I went back to the hotel in person to speak with management. No one from management was available and the receptionist was quite rude and unhelpful. I had to return again the next day. This time I managed to speak to management, and they allowed me to talk to the housekeepers who had cleaned our room. Eventually, one of them admitted that my handbag had been “thrown away in the trash by mistake”. Despite this admission, management did nothing to resolve the situation or offer any form of compensation. The hotel has video surveillance, but I was told it was “not really working” at the time. They said that once it was fixed, they would review the footage and send it as evidence of what happened. That never happened, and I was never contacted again. The case was also presented to the hotel's owners. BUT to this day: 1. My handbag and valuables have never been recovered. 2. The hotel has not contacted me, nor have I been offered any compensation. 3. I have never received a proper apology. 4. The housekeeper who "threw" the bag into the trash still works there (as far as I know). Overall, I left feeling unsafe, disappointed, and deeply let down by how this situation was handled. After many years of being a loyal guest, I sadly cannot recommend this place anymore.

Lovely location on Lake Ohrid

This is an excellent location sitting across from the lake with uninterrupted views from the glassed restaurant frontage of the hotel. We loved the spa and sauna facility and the breakfasts were one of the best we had. The rooms are clean and spacious and they are quiet during the evenings ensuring good rest. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The laundry service was super speedy and well priced.

I'd prefer bookings for the spa facilities so there is no uncomfortable sharing situations. I'd also love the restaurant to set aside a no smoking zone.

Not recommended - stay elsewhere in Ohrid

-The property has a location that is easily walkable to the old town. It is directly in front of the lake. -Sauna was nice -Ample parking

-Room outdated and dirty with hairs all over the bathroom -Extremely loud music playing from the downstairs bar (unable to sleep with music vibrating until 3AM) -Staff not very friendly -Smells of smoke and something else in common areas and not clean. -Def not qualifying as a “spa” given the loud noise from the bars, smell, and dirty room. Also the “jacuzzi” water was cold.

Do it if you have to!

The location is good, 10min walk to main square, or 15min walk to beach clubs. Staff was helpful, doing their best, maintenance guy is a key player. Aircon was satisfactory. Room is spacious enough, lucky to have a balcony.

The hotel is old, things broken. Rooms do not match pictures. The first room offered was 408 which is a little window prison. Second room 306 was better, with a 80s bathroom. It also does not match pictures. Shower was broken, changed. Sink was leaking, fixed. Spiders everywhere even big ones, hunted. The furniture, all the stuff is the cheapest, lowest quality. It is good we have our own toiletries. Even in emergency I would not use what is provided. The breakfast is lower than mediocre, also very bad quality cheeses and cold cuts. Cold eggs, terrible coffee. We ate out while breakfast included. Beds are rock solid, pillows are cheap sponge. If we did not stay only 3 day, we would not tolerate. We have free spa with booking but we did not use because of fungal suspicion. The manager and housekeeping supervisor probably do not exist. I had to report broken things to reception. It is fixed but it is not my job. Sincerely pay more get a better place. If you are a student, backpacker, this is your place.

Not a terrible hotel but certainly not 4 star (more like 2)

The location is good, right on the lake. The breakfast area was spacious and the selection was pretty good.

We had two rooms, both had issues. In one bathroom one showerdoor was missing, there was no soap in the dispensers and the A/C did not work. Luckily there was an old A/C unit on the floor so we used that one. In the other room there was a distinct smell of sewage which the hotel was trying to cover up with some scent dispenser. As the other room also had intermittent sewage smell in the bathroom, I suspect their entire plumbing needs a good overhaul.

In the heart of it all.

Very central location close to the bazar and shops and lake. You are steps from the lake. The room was nice and spacious as was the balcony. Cleaning staff were superb and even took our clothes freshly laundry to our room.

At night it would be noisy, as there are 2 bars downstairs. Otherwise, we didn’t use the “spa” facilities. I’d say both their restaurants are superb.

Far Below Expectations for the Price

10min walking distance from the old city

The rooms were not clean and felt very outdated — clearly in need of renovation or at least some modern upgrades. It was also quite noisy, which made it hard to relax. The breakfast was very poor, with low-quality options, no vegan options and bad coffee. If you want a decent coffee, you have to pay extra for one from a separate machine. Some of the staff at the reception were not friendly or welcoming, which added to the overall negative experience. Considering the price, it was definitely not worth the money.

Dirty and awful reception

Most of the personal at the reception was very rude and not caring at all. They don’t even say hello, Welcome and goodbye! Bathroom has been used and not sanitized, there were some feces on the towel drier! A Big mess with the key when I arrived. The breakfast is not of great quality.

Exceptional

Genuine focus on customer satisfaction, cleanliness, location, great breakfast choice, pleasant reception staff. As a family weekend getaway I was a bit concerned about the noise having in mind its central location, but we were located in a building located away from the busy street so the room was sleep friendly. Having in mind that we visited the place during winter, the hotel was warm and cozy 24/7.

Amazing weekend

Very nice Hotel, location is great (right next to the lake. The penthouse Apartment is amazing. There is a Pub close to the hotel which had live music every night and the atmosphere was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the front desk lady’s.
