Zurich Furnished Homes

Very spacious, well furnished.

Lift to small for more than 2 people to travel at a time which is a challenge for families with luggage. No AC during summer is an issue.

Very close to the Wiedikon tram station. There was a very nice pizzeria nearby, which was really convenient on our first day after arriving. Not bad in terms of value for money.

The room wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t particularly clean either. Since we were out all day, we managed with it. The apartment has such a tiny elevator that it can barely fit one person and two medium-sized suitcases. The place under the apartment where we were told we could leave our luggage turned out to be a unlocked room enclosed by wooden railings. Instead, we used the lockers at Zurich HB station.

The apartment was so much bigger than we expected. Well designed, everything we needed and very good value for money. For the reviews that complain about lack of air-conditioning, in Zurich, most places don't have air-conditioning due to strict regulations, so it is unfair to penalise this accommodation for not having ac. We were provided 3 fans, left the windows open and were comfortable.

I think a lock for the luggage storage room would be great. We left our luggage there from 8am, and nothing happened to it, but we were quite anxious the whole day. The lobby would use a renovation, as it's the first impression people get, we were a bit worried about the apartment, but it was all good.

It was in a convenient area. There were washing machines and tumble dryers available for guests. Linens, surfaces and bathroom facilities were very clean. The fans worked well to keep the rooms cool at night.

The second bathroom mentioned in the details was a cloakroom style toilet with small hand basin and there was only a sofa bed, not sofa and sofa bed as listed.. The balcony was off one of the bedrooms and the views were a residential street or a scruffy communal garden area. The tumble dryer was not in the apartment. The building and apartment were clean overall but had a stale smell and more attention needed to be paid to corners, which were not particularly well cleaned. The luggage storage area was not secure.
