Very welcoming host. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and it could fit a big group (~10 people) comfortably, making it a great option for a group of friends travelling together. We spent a few cozy nights inside and just chatting away, so it felt very homely.
Despite keeping the heating on the whole time we were at home, most people in our group still felt cold (likely due to the building's age). The beds were okay but not the comfiest. Also, the house is a bit far from the centre (15 minutes walking) with little variety on how to get there or things to do on the way. It just became a chore to walk up and down that road so many times before we got to the interesting part of York as a tourist.

It was very big and very clean. It was warm on arrival too which made it welcoming in typically chilly rainy weather conditions!
The car parking space was really small would suggest that you take down some of the hedge and wall to the front of the house to allow car parking because it is really difficult to park in a very busy street.
