    Travelled as a group for the provincial field hockey tournament. We book a suite and it’s spacious, clean, great shower water pressure, and comfortable beds. It feels like a 4-Start inn with a great restaurant right next to the hotel. It’s also with 5-10 to the Mayfair Shopping Mall and University of Victoria. Friendly staff and good for value.

    The front desk staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, which feels like a rarity in hospitality these days. The value was average, but that’s to be expected during high season. I stayed in a kitchenette room, and it was surprisingly well equipped, making it easy to prepare simple meals. And as a fun touch, they give you a cute rubber duck as a souvenir — a small detail, but it really adds charm to the experience. Overall, a solid stay with warm service and thoughtful details.
