Staff was super accommodating

Dragging my luggage to the third floor 😀😀
8.0 / 10.0
the rooms were exceptionally clean, and very affordable. Kids loved the pool and really raved how nice the rooms are. I have stayed here once before and it still holds up, I will definitely be returning again in the future.
The only downside is the sound proofing isnt that great, but not a deal breaker.

Good value, clean, great pub with live entertainment.
The room heater was noisy and sometimes blowing cold air.

Good price, nice location, & it was nice to have a kitchenette.
The table in the kitchen was too small. We had to keep moving things around to have a place to put everything when we were cooking & eating dinner. The pool was too cold. Usually when we go swimming inside during the winter the water is warm and so is the air. Not the case here. My wife and daughter didn't even get in the pool it was so cold. Also, after the maid service changed out our towels, they only left one wash cloth instead of 3.

The location
The smell of the cigarettes and canabis, and then the heater smells its burning

The room had an old smell. The flooring had gaps and the glue was wet and very unpleasant to step on and have it get stuck to my bare foot. There was no microwave.
7.0 / 10.0
Location and scenery nice. Beds firm, but decently comfortable. Suite had a nice kitchenette with all the basics. The first room had a bad smell, so they kindly moved us to a different room.
Poor soundproofing, and shower was really backed up. Also, the pool did not look like anybody had used it in a while (we also didn't).

- roomy
- clean
- friendly staff
- quick check in
- comfy bed and pillows
- Heat took awhile to kick in; heater should be turned on prior to a person's check in. It was very cold when we entered the room
- the toilet wouldn't flush some times, so I had to jiggle it

Neat beds
The shower, water was sometimes cold and the water drainage wasn’t the best!
6.0 / 10.0
The location was perfect for me. The beds were very clean and comfortable.
The sink did not drain properly. The shower head was placed too low on the shower wall. The water pressure was barely enough to force flow beyond a foot from the shower head, and the water temperature fluctuated greatly on its own. I didn’t dare try to wash my hair in there.

It had a coin laundromat wash which I used. It was clean and well kept.
I was moved because of minor plumbing issues, which were resolved by the staff timely and quickly. They were kind enough to upgrade me to a suite 👍.
Thank you 🙏

Great location and very good value for the price. The room was clean, the king bed super comfy, and it was nice to have a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. We also enjoyed the pool, gym, and sauna. Staff were friendly, and the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast isn’t included, but you can buy it at the pub/restaurant on site.
The only downside is that the plumbing isn’t in the best condition, but it was manageable.

Clean, good internet, nice pool, friendly staff. Big kitchenette. Good value.
Found a bag of food someone else ordered outside my door from, I am guessing, the night before as I was leaving to find somewhere for breakfast.
Told housekeeping that it could be thrown in the garbage as I passed them and it was still there 8 hours later. Wasn't a fan of the neighbourhood.

The location was great! We were riding the bike trails & the staff was so accommodating. Let us keep our truck parked at the hotel while we rode around Victoria. Also gave us a larger room so we could bring our bikes inside at night. Super friendly and helpful staff.

No steps into room.
One bed was so close to wall that I couldn’t get out of bed.
The shower needs a regulator on it. All of a sudden the hot water burned and I screamed so loud my hard of hearing roommate heard me and came running to see what was wrong.
5.0 / 10.0
Conveniently located near to buses for travel into the city.
Not able to feed the kids easily in the evening. We ordered overpriced Natchos from the bar, a very small portion for an exorbitant price. Two nights stay for nearly $600 is a crazy price for a facility that is merely sufficient.

Room size was good
Run down furniture.
Sticky floors.
Bad restaurant/bar.

As expected from Days Inn. Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. Good price. Bit of a walk to downtown, but a bus stops almost outside
Noisy bar plays live music every day, although you can't hear it from the rooms. We ate breakfast nearby instead of using the hotel

Lots of parking. Swimming pool.
Rooms are not very sound proofed, could hear everything. Rooms/bathrooms outdated. Swimming pool was gross, and access to it had awful location.

We had a suite with a kitchenette, but had breakfast at the in-house restaurant at least one day. It was price-worthy as well as enjoyable. Staff was attentive and helpful. Room service was every three days, which meets my desire for privacy and not over-doing towel and bedding exchanges. We had a couple of problems with our room, but the staff was accommodating and addressed our needs in a reasonable time frame. The bed was super comfortable, wish I had that at home. We also made use of the pool/sauna on a couple of days and that was nice after a long day of touring. Furthermore, you have to check out the pub/bar upstairs. Live music 7 nights a week and solid pub fair for takeout. We tried the pizza, burgers, and fish and chips — it was all good. We made use of the laundry facilities on several days as well.
There was nothing we didn't like. Front desk staff was awesome, proximity to public transit was solid, it was easy to get to local supermarkets and other businesses.

Lots of parking
The lights that are on all night right outside your room shine your window makes it very bright for sleeping

We liked the 1 bedroom suite. The space was great.
The door wouldn't stay shut unless you body slammed it a few times. And it would randomly pop open. No one came to fix it after we reported it and you couldn't lock the door. So we felt very unsafe. We had to put a chair up against the door at night. For the amount of money the hotel cost for 3 nights. That makes me very angry. I probably won't use Bookings.com again. Or stay there again. The third night none of us got any sleep. The room above us was having a party and kids were running around stomping on the floor. It was horrible. I phoned and complained and nothing changed.

The price was cheaper than other hotels in Victoria
The staff were so kind and friendly
It was easy to checkout
The heater noise became quieter every time I changed the temperature setting, but after a while it became noisy again so I had to wake up several times during the night.
It was uncomfortable to hear the noise from other rooms (probably the upstairs slamming the floor) and the music from the hotel pub.

The staff at the reception were all great
No elevator. Washroom facilities need improvement.
8.0 / 10.0
The room was a decent size and had a kitchen which was an unexpected surprise. The beds were comfortable too!
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The Loft Pub kitchen closed at 8 which limited the dinner options available, esp after a long day at a tradeshow one doesn't want to go looking for food. I did order something from Uber Eats but it would have been nice to grab something on my way to the room, instead of coming back out to the lobby to pick up the food.
9.0 / 10.0
The motel room was clean, spacious and well-equipped. The motel is just 10 minutes drive away from the heart of Victoria. And The Loft bar, located right in the same building, had great live music every night.
