Very affordable and Excellent location.

A/C not cooling properly. Toiletries werent sufficient (would suggest a shampoo and conditioner on bottles mounted on the wall), so if you’re staying for 3 days you gotta keep asking them everyday.

Would stay here again

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms were cozy and warm. Windows opened fully for a nice breeze at night. Tim Hortons across the road :)

A little far from downtown Victoria. However, it’s only a half hour walk if you plan ahead. I would recommend Douglas Street if you’re heading downtown on foot. Some stretches of Government Street feel a little sketchy until you get closer to the core, especially at night.

It was a comfortable stay, but service and supplies could have been better

What breakfast.? The kitchenette was ok. Very minimal pots and pans. or towels or silverware. Kitchen could be so much better. Being told that because we were a longer term guest, so that the room would not be made up and we needed to put our garbage and towels outside the room was not really a normal way to supply what we needed as guests. Never experienced it before. Beds were comfortable and the size of the rooms were really nice. All around it was OK.

Disappointing stay — staff were unhelpful and inflexible despite a simple and reasonable request.

It was near downtown.

I went with my wife to run the Victoria half marathon and asked at checkout for a little extra time (10 or 15 minutes at most) after 11 a.m. So we could take a shower after the race (it was raining and cold). The front desk clerk was rude to us and didn’t allow it, saying the checkout time was 11 sharp. We arrived exactly at 11, and we just needed a short time to shower and grab our things, but we almost couldn’t. I had already sent an email earlier in the week explaining my situation, but the reply was a refusal. After the race, we rushed back to the hotel, afraid that the clerk (or owner) might remove our belongings from the room and kick us out.

We enjoyed our stay. It is a great value option for a stay in Victoria.

Perfect location when coming into Victoria on Highway 1. Also there is a bus stop with plenty of bus routes to take you down town, right by the hotel. The journey takes less than 10 minutes, literally down one big street into town. All staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The location is more industrial than residential and you do need to be a little careful as there were quite a number of homeless / challenged people about. Nothing threatening, you just need to be aware and the hotel is only a minutes walk from the bus stop.

Too expensive for the place.

Room was extremely hot. Hallway to our room had people yelling at eachother, which looked like a drug deal going bad. Bed was alright for one night sleep. Hill to park on was a little steep. Customer service agent at hotel was extremely friendly.

Price for the room, no additional perks (breakfast, pool, etc...). I did not like the fact that there were people in the hallway to our room on first floor who were yelling at eachother, looked like a drug deal was going wrong!

Great place

A group of seven of us stayed for two nights as we were competing in a Dragon Boat Pentathlon. The location was perfect to get to the Gorge waterway The rooms were spacious very clean and quite. There was plenty of parking on site. The bathroom was very clean with a big shower. I would definitely recommend this motel for a short stay, it was not far to downtown

Front desk was exceptional...as good as any hotel I've stayed before. Facilities and rooms were a tad dated but great bang for the buck. Air conditioning worked well, bathrooms clean.

Beds were quite hard..I'm just not used to an extra firm mattress. Plenty of pillows though.

Worked out well plus we were close to the BB Ferry.

I wanted a room with two beds when I made the reservation from the picture I saw on the internet. As I continued with the web page I was asked how many adults. Now I'm alarmed, as the picture shows two beds. I request two beds and get a reservation and I'm told they will honor my request at no additional charge. When we arrive I'm told I reserved a room with one king bed. Fortunately a two bedroom suite was available at a modest price increase so everything worked out.

We are 82 and 78 years old and we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. Not enough soap for two people.
