The Perfect Getaway!

Claire the host was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I booked the cottage very last minute on Boxing day. Claire went out of her way to make us comfortable, even though it probably disrupted her Christmas arrangements. We found the cottage warm and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable. Communication with Claire was easy and her replies were prompt and helpful.. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of the setting.

The only thing that could have been improved was the sofa bed, which was slightly firm to sit on.

Peaceful, friendly, very welcoming you want for nothing whilst you stays here. Everything is at hand.

Just about everything really, I work all over the country as a contractor. This has got to be up there with the best quiet location lovely wildlife and horses on site.

To be fair there was only one thing and it wasn’t about the property. It was about one of our neighbours. I’ve got a bit tipsy one night. I made a bit of dice for an hour but the woman took it overboard demanded a refund which we pay for to keep the peace but then the woman gave a landlady a really bad review about everything which was wrong if you had a complaint about the noise, it doesn’t mean the place was bad in all the other ways. I think this woman does it on a regular basis. Don’t need people like her staying in accommodation giving people a bad review which is so wrong my dad has apologise for making all that noise. Don’t be put off by people with sour grapes.

I had a very pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely rural location on private land and view over fields. Very quiet , which I like. Only a few miles from Towcester. Nice walks in the area.

Not a criticism , but a chopping board for vegetables etc would be a good addition to kitchen equipment.

Very lovely - will recommend!

A delightful little place, magically warm and comfortable after long days out. The bathroom was AMAZING and the bed epically huge and snug.

Something that's true of everywhere I go - all showers are slightly different, and a laminated picture showing which things to twiddle would make bleary-eyed early mornings much less full of surprises.

Fantastic, charming little cottage in the countryside.

I stayed at Spring Hill Cottages for a week whilst working nearby… the Cottage was perfectly equipped with everything I needed throughout my stay. It’s set in a very convenient location, with easy access to lots of surrounding areas. Whilst the farm is very peaceful and the animals make it feel very homely. Also Claire was fantastic and extremely kind… I hope to stay there again. Can’t recommend enough!

Location from Silverstone circuit is excellent, views are great and if someone likes horses that's an extra treat. Modern entertainment and a cosy atmosphere.

We had a lovely relaxing stay

Spring Hill Cottage was a cosy, warm and comfortable place to stay for our 5 night getaway. It had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Claire was a lovely host … she left us a card and bottle of fizz for New Year’s Eve … such a kind and thoughtful thing to do. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely weekend getaway!

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The host was more than accommodating, left us to it but there if we needed anything at all. The horses were beautiful and very friendly. We stayed here as it was close to Silverstone, but would definitely go back just for a quiet and cosy weekend!

Very friendly and helpful; clean and comfortable. good Wi-Fi and internet, which was great as the mobile phone cover by my provider was virtually non-existent. Transfer to/from property was offered by owners which was exceptionally kind.

There’s nothing not to like about the place and will be back should the occasion arise.

Was a great place as a base for Silverstone car testing and racing.

Was an excellent location for access to Silverstone Circuit, but quiet. Parking was right outside the door. Bed was a good size. 5 minutes by car from a great local pub with good food. 2 TV's not just one, my son watched one thing I watched another. We got an extra sheet very easily

The drive was a bit rough to get up a fairly steep hill towing a car trailer. Heating of the appartement could have been better. As a personal preference I would rather smell "the smell" not the air freshner covering it up.
