A wonderful experience such a special property

The location was excellent, the property itself was unique and was decorated beautifully it also had everything inside you could have wanted.

Beautifully decorated, it was so cozy and homely, my partner absolutely loved the surprise visit for her birthday, we met Alan just before we left and loved how enthusiastic and friendly he was about this lovely and historic building!

The Windmill provided luxury accommodation with spectacular views. The history of the Windmill told through photographs, artwork & a lovely poem on the stairway. Alan, the owner, was great to talk to, and what he and Cristiana have achieved at the property is remarkable. We enjoyed a meal at The Pointer at nearbt Brill.

Such a unique & charming building with a once in a lifetime appeal. The beauty of the structure is just as exciting on the inside as out.

I don’t think I paid attention to the fact that the owners lived downstairs, although it didn’t really matter.

Quirky modern apartment- highly recommended!

The hosts was very accommodating and friendly. The apartment was very well renovated from a 300 year old windmill yo a luxurious abd very quirky modern apartment.

Fabulous, quirky place to stay and well managed

Fabulous windmill in a great location. We had such a relaxing time chilling on the top floor looking at the views and watching red kites! The windmill is beautifully renovated and decorated and everything was done to a high standard. The place was spotless and everything from checking in, parking, getting there and checking out was easy. Alan was a great host who was happy to say hello and recommend a few places nearby. We'd love to stay again.

The only think that I think would improve the stay is toiletries to be provided as none were, which is unusual, even for a self-catered stay. Booking.com also didn't specify this. However, the hosts helped us with this issue when we informed them we didn't bring any of our own, which was kind. Thanks

Fabulous, relaxing break

What a fabulous restoration of a historic windmill. This was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Everything you need is there, whether you want to cook or not. We recommend Toho35 Cantonese restaurant in Bicester, Market Square, the food was amazing.

This is not only unique, but one of the most beautiful high end renovations I have seen, -all home comforts, cooking facilities available, with 360 views.

Simply a lovely place to stay. It’s comfortable, has magnificent views and is conveniently located. The kitchen has all you could want for a self-catering stay with top notch appliances. We loved it and can’t wait to go back.
