Pleasant property for a short stay

Cosy and nicely decorated, great parking, accommodating host

- no hanging space - microwave timer doesn’t work properly ie it doesn’t rotate all the way to zero. I set it therefore for 2 mins instead of 1.30 then burnt my hand as the dish was too hot - tv remote batteries need replacing - took multiple annoying attempts to turn tv on & off - table & chairs upstairs are badly positioned so we chose to eat on our laps (kitchen ‘table’ not practical) and had to watch tv sitting on the bed

Lovely place but could have been better

Spacious room in a nice cozy surrounding.

Bath room is a little small but sufficient. Bedsheets were crumply. The kettle coating with white stuff that I was told it’s limescale which I had to clean it off myself. Been to other places with limescale but this is bad. Would have been better if the heaters were turned on so we were not entering a freezing cold annex & having to wait for place to be heated up and end up catching a cold.

A spacious self-contained annex suitable for two people with all of the amenities needed for a mini break/overnight stay. Felt very private with a helpful host. Good secure parking. Peaceful.

A VERY small detail but the booster aerial for the TV struggled to hold its reception and involved quite a bit of manoeuvreing.

lovely couples getaway for Woodstock and Blenheim

very good location just a few minutes easy walking into Woodstock. The annex is self-contained and well organised, with everything we needed for a few days stay.

The only thing lacking was hanging space for clothes. Also, with a few changes to the furniture in the room, it could be much improved with a smaller table for sitting at for breakfast / drink / watching TV.

Great location within easy walking distance of Blenheim Palace. Nice accommodation although steps to bedroom are quite steep. Small kitchenette which is great, however there is nowhere downstairs to sit unless you can go out into the courtyard. Very handy having parking. Didn't meet the hosts, but very good communication. Would stay there again

Quiet location within easy walking distance of Blenhiem Palace and the town. Favourable price. Large comfy bed. Off road parking on driveway of main house.

Bedding wrinkled particularly pillow cases, pillows very thin and aged. 1 bath and 1 hand towel extremely stiff. Despite instructions to wash dishes etc before leaving no cloth or tea towel avaliable (used unusable hand towel!) Specific request in instructions to strip bed!!! Sorry didn't do, that's one perk of going away! Cobwebs +++ and very dirty bathroom vent.

Lovely pitstop in the Cotswolds

Location amazing! Just a short walk to the high street and Blenheim palace. On site parking massive help. Fully equipped from what we could see, only there for a short stay on our way through the Cotswolds and was perfect for us.

Only thing Was it very chilly and we felt cheeky keeping the heating on all night (sorry :( ) but we’d been outdoors all day an night and took awhile to warm up.

A place to sleep and that’s it.

There was a lingering odour in the bedroom which was unpleasant. A sort of unwashed smell.

The bedroom had a very bare feel to it. All wood floor with an insubstantial rug over the bed area and in terms of seating - two rather uncomfortable chairs quite upright. There was nowhere to relax.

A little gem!

We were in Woodstock primarily to assist our daughter and family moving back into their house following four months of major building works. Having travelled from Norfolk, we needed one night's comfortable accommodation prior to an early start the next day. This annex proved a little gem for the following reasons: It was comfortable, modern, spotlessly clean and well prepared, There was parking available and being located only a short distance from our daughter's property, wonderfully located. The price was extremely reasonable when compared with other establishments in Woodstock. Would highly recommend!

Comfortable stay

Beautiful quant little apartment. So clean and comfortable. A 10 minute walk to Bleinheim Palace. The host Brooke was lovely and always responded to txt. Lovely little area to sit outside in the garden too. Woodstock is a lovely little town to visit with friendly locals. I enjoyed my stay and the bed is so comfortable. Tea & coffee with milk satchets all provided with a kettle, fridge & microwave. Would totally recommend a stay here.

In a good location!

In Woodstock a quaint village. Our stay was so that we could visit Blenheim Palace which was within walking distance from the property. Parking is difficult in Woodstock, but the property had free parking on their drive which was a bonus. There are a few pubs for eats and a COOP for supplies. The property was in a good location, it was very quiet too. We would recommend for a short stay.

Beautifully appointed bedroom with clever mini kitchen in great location.

Tea/coffee and all requirements for making own snack meals provided in lovely small kitchenette. Easy short walk into centre of Woodstock.

Everything was great, possibly add a couple of hooks upstairs for hanging our smarter party clothes!

Location Bedroom amd Bathroom were excellent . Plenty of space and big bed but because of shape no wardrobes but coped without.

Most expensive place we’ve ever stayed, needs a few tweaks

Didn’t like having to strip the beds, bit too personal with kids photos, no light shades and maybe a blind on the door to make it completely private? Also, not that it was there, but would have been put off if the barking dog was there!

Okay, wouldn't make a point of going back to the same place.

The location was close to the centre of Woodstock (good). The bedroom was large and stylish. Generally the appointments were modern and in as-new condition.

The street was a bit depressing. What did I think of the breakfast? There was no breakfast; I had to shop for some. But my overall impression was coloured negatively from the outset by the list of checkout instructions. I complied, but found the demands inappropriate. I spent more time in the small and rather dark kitchen downstairs (entrance level) than I would have liked, because it was the only practical place to set up a computer. This part of the accommodation was not well thought out: the fold-out table was only good for standing at (even the tall stools provided left me with my chin close to the table top, and I am pretty tall). And the stools were painful to perch on in bare feet, because the foot-bar was so small. Finally, clocks that tell the wrong time are just irritating; there were two in the apartment, neither showing remotely the right time.
