Perfect little cottage

The cottage was so idyllic. The moment you stepped inside it felt homely. It had all the amenities you could possibly need and ample parking spaces The location is close to the village and also plenty of routes to near by attractions

The only downside was that there wasnt a bin in the bathroom

Overall a great place to stay and a wonderful base for touring round the area

Spotlessly clean. Comfortably furnished. Good location. Useful extra loo downstairs. Kitchen space and equipment good for preparing simple meals. Nice shower. Airy bedroom.

Very little. If pushed to criticise: Limited bedroom storage for clothes. Bedside lamps would have been useful. No waste bin upstairs. No oven gloves.

Modern conversion

Bluebell cottage is a very modern conversion. So bright and airy but well insulated. The bonus was the excellent electronic blockout shutter in the bedroom. It is situated about a 10 minute drive from Silverstone.

Everything you need for a couple of nights

The location was great for visiting Silverstone and the local villages nearby were lovely. The bed was comfortable and everything was really clean.

A lamp in the bedroom would be nice so you don’t have to be in darkness or have the big light on.

Great location and facilities

Great location as was going to Silverstone, really easy to get to with excellent directions along with guides to get to local supermarkets, pubs etc. Hosts have thought of pretty much everything and looking forward to going back, really quiet and slept really well and would recommend.

I didn't get chance to explore the local area, fields and forest etc but something for next time. I had a few initial issues getting to grips with the shower but that was more me than the location :-)

Spacious accommodation ideally located for Silverstone

Great location for Silverstone; spacious accommodation; decent kitchen and equipment; good shower.

Difficult to see the TV from the sofa (it needs to be on a swivel mount rather than flat to the wall); no shower toiletries.

Everything you needed, good communication, quiet and convenient

Quiet location, perfect for a day volunteering at Silverstone, great value for money considering the facilities. Very comfy bed. Bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs. Host was great, sent useful information in good time before the weekend, and gave me a call after I'd arrived to check everything was ok.

No issues at all, and would very happily return if I need to stay in the area again (and will recommend to other motorsport friends).

A Very Clean Cottage in Quiet Surroundings, Outstanding

Bluebell Cottage is not just good, it’s outstanding. The surroundings were beautiful and the interior was decorated to a high standard and very stylish, when we arrived it was lovely and warm and because the area is so quiet, the bed was really comfortable, we slept like logs. Parking was easy, right next to the cottage door. Check in was simple via a lockbox and Paul is a great host, conveniently anonymous, but easily contactable if you need to discuss anything. We stayed to be near family but Bluebell cottage is so close to Brackley, Towcester, Silverstone, Banbury & Northampton. We will definitely be back soon. It’s our new ‘Home from Home’.

A peaceful comfortable stay that allowed us to visit family and the surrounding area.

We loved the warmth, cleanliness and general layout of the cottage. The shower was excellent. The Kitchen had every necessity for self-catering. The living room was very comfortable to sit in or to dine at the table. The bed was super comfortable. It was situated in a quiet country spot but within easy distance of Brackley and the surrounding attractions such as Silverstone, Bell Plantation, Towcester and Banbury. Host Paul was quick to assist if there were any queries.

Nice break in a pleasant location.

Warm, clean, pretty property on a lovely little plot.

Very noisy traffic all night which was a disappointment. The main road isn’t directly outside but the traffic noise carried significantly I felt that there could have been some items provided such as milk and shower products which are pretty standard in most places

Birthday treat to visit Silverstone

Decor, location, helpful owner, soft towels, pleasant ambiance overall.

Quilt on bed far too heavy for summer, could have been more towels and cleaning cloths. Lacked private outside space despite description saying garden and patio. Very big step down to bedroom with no handrail.

-Exceptionally clean -VERY comfortable bed -Friendly and helpful host -The cottage is so cozy and decorated lovely -It has an en suite and also another bathroom within the entrance of the cottage -Incredibly spacious -I feel that the cottage is good value for money

The ONLY thing that could make it even better is a separate recycling bin in the kitchen but very minor point :)
