Beautiful location, and a prime example of luxurious surroundings.

The hotel and the room was incredibly elegant. Staying there made one fell very special...like royalty!

The pool/spa area was somewhat lacking, and unfortunately, there were all kinds of critters competing for the space--pigeons, flies, yellow jackets. It is probably beyond the control of the staff, but it was distracting and not too pleasant.

Regret & Unfortunate

Beautiful location, stunning room design & hotel design. The Beach club was impeccable in terms of services, staff members friendliness and professionalism.

During our stay we had to deal with a weather storm forecast and the entire staff and hotel facilities failed to provide the guests with safety and proper meals. Every-time (apart from the storm day) would make a request at front desk or concierge the staff handled with coldness and rude reply.Did not feel welcomed, and slightly discriminated. It is outrageous at the standard that the hotel has to treat its guests with rude and lack of profesionalism attitude. 10/10 Would not come back because of the staff poor & rude attitude.

Beautiful hotel, shame to be allocated a room that stunk

fantastic location and quality hotel in all respects (other than what I did not like)

Our room smelled. There was a strong smell of rotting material from the shower drain. The hotel must have known. I asked for an email via message through booking.com. A response did not arrive until after I had reported the issue to reception. The reaction was - housekeeping would be advised and that this was a problem due to the wind! Really! I advised that clearly this was not the case and the issue was not a house keeping matter, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and in order by the excellent staff; this was a drain issue. The matter was resolved, in terms of the source of the foul smell being addressed but I have several messages left with the hotel asking what they propose to do to remedy this disappointment and I have been ignored. I was hopeful of an apology which would have rendered my raising this matter unnecessary, in respect of an otherwise supper hotel. This is not what I would expect from a hotel of this standing and cost.

We had booked a two bed and a one bed. When we arrived, there was no two bed room. My son (18) was not very happy sharing a bed with his sister.

Incredible stay

We liked everything, the location couldn't be better, we arrived by private bout charter and left by ferry to Dubrovnik. The hotel was waiting for us at the marina and took us to the ferry at the end. Everything including the amazing decor and the hotel setting was amazing. thank you

A charming and elegant hotel

The hotel is beautifully appointed in the best location in Hvar town. Elegant and immaculate rooms with a superbly comfortable bed and wonderful views over the Harbour. Unquestionably the best place to stay. Charming and welcoming staff in particular Katja on the reception desk who was especially warm and welcoming. She made our visit extra special. Congratulations to the whole staff!

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Located in the heart of the town close to the ferries. Hotel staff helped with the bags from the ferry to the room. Hotel has a nice ambiance.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service and location

The Palace Elisabeth is a beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. In fact, probably the best service I have experienced at a hotel. The staff is very positive, friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to make sure guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The hotel's location on the seaport is convenient to the center of town, restaurants, cafés and bars. Our hotel room was beautiful and had great views of the seaport. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - I highly recommend the eggs Benedict with ham or salmon. The truffled eggs were also very good!

My two pieces of feedback are that it would have been nice to know in advance that there was luggage pickup from the ferry port so we didn't have to drag our heavy luggage to the hotel. We found out thereafter and took advantage of this service on the way back to the seaport. Also, the hotel suggested and booked a dinner for us at a restaurant which was supposed to be excellent, but both the food and service was terrible, so we paid, left our food on the table and returned to the hotel. After speaking to guest services and sharing our experience at the restaurant, we went on to have dinner at the hotel's sister restaurant down the pier which was very good. Based on the experience we had, I expected the hotel to discount or comp the second dinner at their partner restaurant, but they didn't offer which was disappointing. Aside from this, the experience at the hotel was great!
