Amazing location, loved our stay

Extremely comfortable, huge room and bathroom with separate toilet. Perfect location in Old Town and literally within minutes walk from everything, bus station, ferry, restaurants. Natalija was extremely friendly and helpful, met us at that taxi station and tried to arrange a private boat trip unfortunately too late in the season for what we wanted but so much to do in Hvar. Breakfast was perfect.

Great room, breakfast, service and location.

The room was spacious, had excellent natural light, a balcony and the bathroom had a heated floor! The location was perfect for walking the old town and waterfront, and Natalia was wonderful for restaurant recommendations, sightseeing and just chatting about the town. They also provided an excellent breakfast every morning. We were quite impressed with Hvar; we're definitely considering a return trip and when we do we will definitely reserve this room again.

The only distraction for this location is the nearby nunnery that calls it's members to service with the church bells at 6 AM.

An excellent choice

We were met at the ferry and helped with our bags to the room. The location was great, close to the ferry stop and main square yet very quiet. The room was huge, homely and very comfortable. We even received a little gift on our departure. . We have very fond memories of both Hvar and Villa Nora Hvar.

The stairs because we are old. But we were helped with our bags so this was fine.

Highly recommend visiting Hvar and staying at Villa Nora Hvar

Staff was wonderful - shoutout to Boris who handled our luggage up all the steps and told us everything we needed to know about Hvar! Incredibly friendly and helpful. Great location - walking distance to everything. Rented ebikes and rode to Stari Grad and back - amazing ride. Our room was comfortable and large.

Perfect location, quiet for sleeping but also very close to everything! Wonderful owners/staff - so helpful! Thank you Natalje & Rosa for the DELICIOUS breakfast, helpful tips, and friendly attitude ALWAYS! You are both gems!! We stayed in room 16 which was spacious and clean.

It was a work out to go up the steps 4 floors daily - didn't mind but others should be aware no elevator.

Villa Nora is wonderful and a great value for what you get! Welcomed us at the ferry. Helped with our bags. BIG room and nicely separated bathroom for maximum privacy. Delicious cooked to order breakfast included! And a great location!

Fabulous...highly recommend

I would definitely come back. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. The food at their restaurant was to die for! We had breakfast each morning and dinner for my son's birthday. I had the pasta with salmon and ate every bite which rarely happens. For my son's birthday they had the best cake which I also ate every bite of. They make a lot of their own things like the yogurt, cheese and pasta!!! We were all extremely pleased with this property, the staff and the food. When the weather changed they called the bike shop for us to change our reservation one day and hold bikes for us. This was perfect because they only had 3 left and without their help we may not have had the bikes that day. We rented at Antonios and biked the island which I would highly recommend as well. Location was great....just a short walk to the ferry. You will not be disappointed!!! Give Natalija a hug for us if you go!!!

Excellent stay in a quirky hotel

We loved the friendliness of the owners and staff, the apartment was nice and clean and the breakfast was lovely. We also ended up dining here for 2 nights of our stay, again food and service was immense. The attention to detail and the focus on making sure we had a lovely meal was impressive. Would highly recommend this hotel, you will not regret it.

A beautiful, perfectly located little gem with wonderful staff and a delicious breakfast

This is such a gem on Hvar. Boris met us right off the ferry, carried our luggage, and provided terrific recommendations for our stay. The breakfast every morning from Natalija and her team was so lovely and delicious--an absolute highlight. Our junior suite with terrace was very large. This is a perfectly located, beautiful spot to stay for a few days on Hvar and we would absolutely stay again. We were sad to leave!

Amazing hotel

Our stay at Villa Nora was exceptional from start to finish. Natalija and the entire hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main pier, and Natalija even came to look for us when we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, making for a truly relaxing stay. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and enjoyed a complimentary glass of champagne along with a generous discount as guests. Everything exceeded our expectations and we will gladly recommend Villa Nora to anyone visiting Hvar.

The bathroom light was not working, which was inconvenient, but I’m sure it can be easily fixed for future guests

The perfect place to fully enjoy Hvar.

The host was wonderful—confirming our arrival time, picking us up at the port, and carrying our luggage to the room. The room was spotless, more spacious and comfortable than in the photos, with a modern yet warm atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, refined, and homely, and plenty of beach towels were provided. The location was perfect, right in the center with everything within walking distance. Worth every penny and highly recommended!

Five star experience without the five star price!

Villa Nora has it all and much more! Fantastic location, unusually large and comfortable rooms, great on-site restaurant with the best grilled fish dinner in town, generous breakfasts, and a wonderful HVAR family heritage. The Villa Nora staff consistently provided a unique and personalized level of hospitality and exceptional service that made our stay memorable. In particular, Natalia and Roza always went above and beyond - thank you for an amazing stay!

The best stay in Hvar

Absolutely amazing, the hosts, the location, the rooms!!! They take care of every little detail to look after you. It is located right in the heart of Hvar town with charming restaurants, cafes and shops all around. It's a family run place and they take so much care of the guests. The rooms are so thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need (including rubberbands, hairpins and a nail file). The breakfast is AMAZING where you get the personal touch. Highly recommended

Natalija, the manager and granddaughter of Nora, the hotel's original founder, met us at the ferry port and pulled our two heavy suitcases in front of us, up many steps, to this charming boutique hotel. The breakfast was very good too.

The BEST stay on Hvar!

Our stay at Villa Nora Hvar was AMAZING! First off, Natalia met us at the ferry which I wasn't expecting but much appreciated as sometimes finding the lodging can be tricky. We stayed in room #1 that had just been renovated and it was so wonderful and redone with the finest furnishings and excellent decor. I think the pics on the site showed the room before renovation, or another room. The room was outfitted with everything we could need to stay a month! Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night but I wish I could have lived there. The location is perfect and walkable to everything. The furnishings were sublime and the breakfast next morning was wonderful. Everything about our stay in Hvar, and especially Villa Nora Hvar was 5 stars! Natalia offered many suggestions for nearby restaurants and sightseeing. She also held our bags next day as we had a late ferry. If you could stay at this wonderful Inn, you should! And while I can't speak for any of the other rooms, Room #1 is definitely worth it!

A great place to unwind at Hvar

The hotel is located in one of the main alleyways, within the old town, just a short walk from the piers. Apparently, the hotel sends out one of its staff to receive its guests when they disembark from the ferry. Unfortunately, as the staff were busy with other guests that day, we found our way to the hotel on our own fairly easily. The Hotel Manager Natalija was very helpful and patient with us answering all our questions. The breakfast was excellent.

Heritage property, hence, no elevators. But the hotel staff help out with the luggage.

The owner created us personally at the port. Room was spacious, well appointed and well located.

Breakfast was wonderful, fresh and a great sampling of the breads and fruit of the area. Location is in the old town on a perfect street with restaurants very near by and easy access to all parts of the city. Natalia (owner) and Rosa (who runs the kitchen) were friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful with all our questions and needs. Lovely place and great breakfast, friendly staff, highly recommend.

This place was great ! The breakfast was wonderful and they even fed us an hour early because we had an early departure. The room had extra supplies - blankets, pillows, etc. The parking was included, and the boat ride day was also wonderful, and helped make this a fantastic value for what we paid. The staff was also really helpful with picking us up, carrying our suitcases, suggesting things to do and places to go, and anything we needed.

Upgraded to their new accommodation next door it was a pleasure to come back to Vila Nora The new rooms are beautifully restored and a credit to Matalija and Rosa If there is a better place to stay in Hvar I would be surprised Along with the welcome we received and the lovely homemade breakfast we can’t wait to return to visit again

We loved everything about Villa Nora. Started with being collected from the ferry at 7.30am in the morning and just got better. Large room with two huge windows. Loads of storage. We felt like it was home from home. And the breakfast was off the scale good!!!

Extraordinary

Natalija, Rosa and the entire staff at Villa Nora were extraordinary. Natalija came to pick me up from the port and helped me with my suitcase. Despite the early hour, she managed to help me out with an available room. Rosa, her sister, served breakfast with such a warm and kind smile that we started chatting about our common name. During the evening, Boris was also helpful in providing directions to restaurants and the fortress. This entire team goes above and beyond any expectations as a guest.
