Absolutely incredible.

Where do I start.... Absolutely incredible hosts, they came and met us from our ferry transfer at the port and took us to the apartment, gave us a full run down on the apartment as well as a couple of welcome gifts. We had the most beautiful stay and incredible views from the balconies. We also had a full guide of recommendations i.e beaches, restaurants and boat taxis for travel to the other islands. They also came and met us before we left to say goodbye and gave us some very thoughtful parting gift. I literally can not thank you enough for such an amazing few days and allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. It was like home from home, only with much better weather and great views. 2 families stayed and we would 100% return in the future. Thank you again for making our stay so comforting.

Beautiful house in a fabulous location

This is beautiful house of generous size that is very conveniently situated near the harbour and our hosts Jadranka and Dubravka were just lovely leaving limoncello in the fridge and giving us gifts upon leaving. There is also parking at the house which we needed for our car. We love Hvar and would happily here stay again. Thanks so much for our stay

I would highly recommend a stay at All About the Sea if you are planning to stay in Hvar. You will not be disappointed!

This was hands down our favorite accommodation during our stay in Hvar. Beautiful and comfortable house with everything you could need and located all within walking distance. The view was spectacular, especially at sunset. Our hosts Jadranka and Dubravka were the sweetest and kindest people, meeting us at check in and giving their best recommendations! This was the cherry on top of our family trip to Croatia.

It was all so fabulous! Sad we didn’t stay longer.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The hosts were amazing, incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with an amazing view that we couldn’t get enough of. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. What really stood out was the hospitality: the hosts shared fantastic tips, advice, and even some fascinating historical insights about Hvar, which made our experience even more special. Everything about apartment was even better than described and very comfortable Amazing hosts who couldn't do enough to make us feel at home ...... welcomed us with a beautiful food platter and home made liquers and even persuaded our daughters to try their home grown figs from right outside apartment. We spent a wonderful day on the water with Mak (as our daughters fondly named him) exploring Hvars coastline which was the highlight of our families stay on Hvar Would highly recommend this property and hope to return some day. Thanks for a wonderful time.

The most incredible stay we could have ever wished for.

We had the absolute best time staying at this property. The hosts were incredibly generous and so lovely. They greeted us at the port and helped with luggage, prepared a platter for our arrival and even got us a bottle when they found out we were celebrating a birthday! They truly went above and beyond for us and Dubravko even took us out on his boat on a day trip which we loved! The views here were also a highlight for us, every sunset we watched off the balcony was incredible. The house itself had everything we needed and we all agreed this was our favourite accommodation we have ever stayed in. If you are in Hvar you must stay here. The place is incredible but the hosts make it even better.

Heavenly Hvar!

You could not wish for better hosts, they were extremely kind and beyond welcoming! Their home is stunning, full of stylish beautiful artefacts. Easy to walk to town though up and down steps. I just loved the sea and boat views from all 4 balconies, just wow! Also the gorgeous small garden featuring a fab fig tree and fireplace was so inviting too. Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! Oh and Hvar is stunning too!!

Didn't realise it was quite so hilly there, lots of steep climbing but very manageable really. The street below has some loud traffic at times. There is nothing I could say to improve on the property, it is perfect!

Staying at Riviera House will definitely be a valuable and amazing experience to enjoy HVAR. Arguably the best hospitality of any inn in the world. The personalities of the owner couple far exceeded our expectations and raised our trip satisfaction to the highest level. We Japanese are picky about hospitality, but we learned a lot from this Croatian owner couple. Obviously we return to Riviera House next our trip to Hvar once again. The score is 20 out of 10!

Where do I start to rate Dubravko and Jadranka's apartment..... It is indescribable how nice and loving that we were received. The apartment is furnished with great style and it is very clean ! Everything has been thought of and it is also very large. In an incredibly beautiful location and really the most beautiful view with the most beautiful sunsets. We left this morning and already miss it.... When we left, we received very sweet gifts and I can only say that these are the most nice and sweet people to rent an apartment with! Nothing is too much to ask them. In addition, we had an unforgettable beautiful day on Dubravko's boat, where he showed us fantastic beautiful places. Many thanks Dubravko and Jadranka for the good care !

Hosts very friendly and welcoming -apartment well located close to the town and the shops and the beaches.

Lovely apartment -very spacious with beautiful views from the balcony and everything we needed. Hosts very helpful and friendly.

The only slight thing is that the road is a bit noisy when having breakfast / drinks on the balcony but otherwise perfect. When inside apartment did not notice noise from outside.

Our hosts were just amazing. Dubravko met us at the ferry and took us to the property where Jandranka was waiting. They were so welcoming, shared a lot of information regarding Hvar, restaurants and sightseeing options. The house itself was great - clean, comfortable with a beautiful view..

Dubravko, the star of Hvar.

Travelling as a family of five adults, Dubravko kindly met us when the ferry docked at quayside and took us on the five minute walk to the accommodation where his wife Jadranka had prepared us some delightful welcoming snacks and drinks. The house is impeccable and includes everything you could wish for. The views of the harbour from the balcony are stunning, particularly at sundown. We took the opportunity to accept Kapetan Dubravko's offer of a boat trip around the islands (reasonable additional fee) which included a delicious seafood lunch at Dubovica Bay (reasonable additional fee). During that trip, Dubravko ensured he engaged with all of his guests both collectively and on an individual basis. His love of his country, the sea, nature and people is apparent and he clearly gains satisfaction from seeing folk enjoy themselves. On the last day, Jadranka had prepared us some leaving gifts. She and Dubravko are the perfect hosts and provided us with excellent suggestions of places to go to. They made us feel like family. I'm missing them already. I wish I was a fisherman.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Perfection .. 4 days break with friends ... a stunning property with the best hosts on the planet.

Jadranka and Dubravko, the hosts are some of the best people on the planet, from booking to leaving they became like family. They took the time to find out about our group and purpose for travel and wowed us every step of the way. We were a group of 6 friends visiting for special birthdays, with 3 bedrooms ( all with a balcony and sea view) and 2 bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and stunning living, dining area with balcony and sea view it met our needs perfectly. We were met from the ferry, where Mak took us to their beautiful property with the best views where we enjoyed the refreshments they provided for us; the homemade drinks were amazing! They were always on hand to help with any questions and helped with dining recommendations,a memorable boat trip and even sourced and delivered some special drinks for us and to top it all were so kind bringing us special handmade local gifts when we left. The house is tastefully decorated and exceeded our expectations and more and was in a brilliant location for a trip to the harbour or town or for a dip in the crystal clear sea. We would all highly recommend the All about the Sea along with J&D and hope to return together or with our families.

Best vacation home experience

Just amazing, hands down the best vacation home I've stayed in my life! It's a wonderful apartment really clean and well equipped. It's also really close to the town centre just 6 min walk, and close to several beautiful beaches. The views from the apartment are absolutely spectacular. The hosts Dubravko and Jadranka are so wonderful, they met us by the pier and helped us with our bags to the apartment, so accommodating, kind and attentive. They treated us as family and made sure we visited all best best restaurants and main attractions in Hvar. Me and my friends are so thankful and enjoyed our stay so much we would would return and visit in a heartbeat!

Stunning views and the most welcoming hosts.

Great location, spacious, amazing harbor views (the online pictures don't do the house justice), and the absolutely nicest hosts. Dubravko and his wife welcomed our family like their own, and added too many special touches to our trip to count including a lovely boat ride, welcome snacks & drinks, the kindest parting gift, and help getting in and also to our next destination. Location is a short walk to the center of town, but is away from the hustle and bustle which was very busy/crowded during peak season. Very spacious, great air conditioning and the house is equipped with everything, including laundry and detergent!

The only way to get the great views of the city and harbor are to hike up about a ~7 min walk from the port to the house. It's a little steep but nothing bad unless you have trouble with inclines. Dubravko met us at the port and helped with our bags so was easy to find our way. Plenty of nice restaurants near the house without having to go into the main area.

What a perfect spot.

We traveled as a group of 6 friends and could not have picked a better apartment to stay in Hvar. The owners, Dubravko and Jadranka, are the most wonderful and helpful people you’ll meet on the Island. We could ask them anything, they prepared a welcoming meal for us and even got us some drinks. The view of the apartment is simply stunning and the decoration of the interior was perfect for the summer setting in Hvar. It was a short 5-10min walk to the center of the town so even the location was a big plus.

We cannot think of anything that bothered us during our stay.

Very nice and helpful hosts and a great house.. We never felt so welcome before. For every question may occuring, if you need help or an recommendation Dubravko and Jadranka are here for you. Very comfortable and spacious house situated a bit out of the old town (some minutes) and quite near to the sea side. The view from the balconies is marvelous. (Seaside, sun set, harbour.) There are enough towels, even for the beach. We spent 11 days (4 adults and a baby) and they came in-between to change sheets and towels and even put on the washing machine for us. Living and dining room area is really big enough also if all rooms/beds are fully occupied. There's a griller in the backyard of the house and a beautiful fig tree. In front of the house there's private parking space. Kitchen was fully equipped. Wireless LAN was free and did well.

PERFECT, we loved Hvar and this is the absolute best place to stay and highlight of our trip!

We LOVED everything about this apartment. The location was perfect (up a small hill 5 minute walk to the action but far away enough to really enjoy the incredible views of the sea and not hear noise from below). Everything was working perfectly and the bedrooms were large and each had access to a balcony and it's own air conditioning unit. The kitchen was updated and had the appliances and everything we needed to make meals. The best part of renting All About the Sea is Dubrovko and Jadranka. They took care of us 3 ladies as if we were close friends or their children and we will never forget how special they made our trip. There is nothing they could do to make us feel more welcome and it went beyond being hospitable with all the extra surprises. These are special and wonderful people and everyone should stay at their place. The best day of our entire trip to Croatia was the boat day with Dubrovko. It was the deal of the century to take his offer to rent the boat and him as a captain. We island hopped, went to a wine tasting and had the freshest most delicious seafood at this little restaurant on a beach. If we had stayed longer we would have opted for another boat day. THANK YOU J&D, the lady gang LOVES YOU VERY MUCH and we will be back one day and will send all our friends (but don't love them as much as us or we'll get jealous). xoxo

Super hosts and amazing house with great view!!

Dubravko and Jadranka gave us the warmest welcome we have ever had, they even filled the fridge with a fresh salad, beers and home made schnaps. The house looks nice on the pictures but in real life it's a lot better than expected. To say the view is amazing is an understatement. It's a 5-min walk to the city center and the supermarket is around the corner. Even the best meal we had in Hvar was their recommendation. The overall experience is more like you are staying with an aunty and uncle than renting a house.

Dubravko could not have been more helpful or more kind! He met us at the ferry and helped us bring our bags up the hill to the home. Then we were welcomed by his wife with home made spirts and snacks. The view is amazing and the home is well appointed. Their home was well stocked with all the basics. Above and beyond!

Great location with superb sea view and hospitable owners

Spacious house with on site parking, easy to find, 7 min walk to the Hvar promenade. The sea view from the balconies are spectacular - great to watch the sunset. The house was clean with comfortable beds. The owner Dubravko is the most hospitable and was very helpful and informative about the island. Make sure to book a private boat tour with Dubravko. Not only you will see the island from the sea side, do wine tasting right if the boat, get an amazing seafood lunch on the beach, but you will learn a lot about history and life on the island.

The perfect stay in Hvar

We were a party of six people who visited this lovely place. The house has a fantastic location with a view you can only dream of. Everything is located nearby and the city is in a short walking distance. Every room in the whole house is nice and you have absolutely everything you need for a successful holiday. Beyond this, it is especially important to highlight the hosts. Dubravko and Jadranka are an amazing couple who really care about their guests. We were also on a boat trip with the host, which is definitely to be recommended. We ate perhaps the best fish meals ever in a cozy local restaurant in a bay. Simply a truly unique experience. I will give my strongest recommendation to anyone going to Hvar and take their stay here. This is far beyond what one can expect at a reasonable price. Thank you. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous home in Hvar

This home is a 5 minute walk from the port, has everything you could need and the owners are the nicest people ever. They had prepared appetizers for us on our arrival and gave us home made jams and liquors. The house is spacious with great air conditioning and comfortable beds. Also the view from the balcony couldn’t be any better. This was the perfect stay for our group of 6!
