Amazing experience. We are very thankful to all the receptionist. They have been very professional. They made for us also an upgrade for the room with sea view wich made our holiday's even better. Room was very clean, new and comfortable. Mattress amazing too. Had a wonderful sleep. Breakfast was great. There was full of different and fresh food. Staff very friendly and helpful. They made also fresh eggs when ordering. Owerall everything was on very high level. 10/10 Will definitely recommend and come back here for shure.

A pleasant stay in an historic building with lovely views.

The hotel is in a lovely, historic building with fabulous views. As we arrived right at the end of the season, our rooms were upgraded and we were given a huge top floor suite, like a penthouse, and our daughters got a larger room than we booked with a sofa bed as well as a big bed. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. It was clean and most of the furnishings were attractive and suited the property well. When we had an issue, the hotel sorted it out quickly and gave us some vouchers.

Breakfast. We decided to get takeaway pastries from the bakery just opposite instead. The bathroom decor in our top floor suite was very dated and looked like it hadn’t been changed since the 1980s! We nearly had a coronary carrying our bags up to the third floor as there is no lift.

Quality hotel that is a nice place to rest after day's travels are done.

We were thrilled to receive a room upgrade on arrival! Nice, spacious suite. Very comfortable. Lower floors may sacrifice a harbor view, but being one street up means for a quieter night. AC and ceiling fans keep you cool. Clean and nice restrooms. Call ahead to schedule a massage! Included breakfast was copious and delicious. It is a really nice hotel with great staff. They'll also help you with bag storage (before or after check-in - not fully secure, but a nice to have).

Really lovely location, friendly staff in a hotel that needs a bit of modernisation

The hotel was in the perfect position, overlooking the harbour and only a short walk from the pier where the ferry docks. Breakfast was served on a patio overlooking the sea and was a buffet with lots of choice to suit all tastes.

The property was a little dated for our taste. Dark woods, old fashioned furniture, net curtains. That said it was perfectly clean and serviceable but in my opinion needed some modernisation, but all tastes are different.

Great base for Hvar

Nice property and very well located in the middle of everything, just steps from the town center, ferries, restaurants, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, nice base for Hvar.

Not an issue for us, but there are a quite a few steps getting to the hotel and there is no elevator but it’s only 3 levels and they will arrange for bag pick up / drop off if you schedule it.

Place that gave us unforgettable memories and experience

We were offered a free upgrade upon arrival. The room had a separate bedroom, a living room and a bathroom. There were two balconies to step outside. The view of ocean, harbor, rooftops of neighboring buildings were picture perfect, from both bedroom and living room, with glass doors serving as if frames for masterpiece painting of Hvar harbor. We were completely overwhelmed by the view and the room amenities. We used the public city parking lot in an easy short distance with 2 different supermarkets on the way. There are 2 short stairs to reach the entrance. Drinking water was available at the reception area. There was no elevator but we did not feel inconvenient using stairs. They just felt home. We dined at Mizarola in a minute walk away with excellent seafood risotto and fried calamari. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was some construction for remodeling but we did not hear any noise nor felt any in the air. The room was very quiet. Even with glass doors open the noise from ferries did not make thru due to sufficient distance but only the sound of calming ocean waves and children playing in plaza during day time. We simply enjoyed the stay so much. We will definitely vacation in Hvar again just to stay here again.

Totally wonderful experience!

First off we were upgraded to the nicest room in the hotel! The staff were always helpful and as it turned out we had to stay an extra day because of weather which cancelled the fery service. The hotel staff even called our planned hotel for the next two nights and got us a refund which we were not eligible for. Excellent room, view, facility, and great breakfast, and a wonderful staff that really went out of their way for us!!
