    If you like large corporate hotels with a lovely room and view then this hotel fits the bill.

    The room we were in was extremely small and was like being in the basement. Out porch looked out at a brick wall and to get to the pool from our room we had to go up 4 floors and the. Back down another elevator. On the day we were leaving they unblocked stairs that led to a path that led to the pool. On one of the days, a creepy old small elevator broke so we had to walk up 4 flights to get to the restaurant where breakfast was served Even though our room had been re Oates, and we may have been the first guests to be in the room aster the renov completed, the room seemed cheaply furnished.

    Amfora stands tall near the shoreline of Hvar with its lobby, pool and rooms overlooking the vast Adriatic ocean. The view is breathtaking from almost every part of the hotel. Rooms are large and pack premium amenities like Rituals toiletries and nespresso machines. Large too are the hearts of the staff, who keep smiling as they help you sort out your check ins and outs. Breakfast, what a spread - you will love it. The clincher is the slide in the enormous pool that also houses a small waterfall and jacuzzi, where my 7 year old son took at least 100 trips down in a floatie while we sipped Bloody Marys and nibbled on heavenly Truffle Parmesan fries.

    Extremely inflated prices at all the restaurants, bars, and no actual services at the hotel. Staff is very rude, not transparent or forthcoming with any information such as breakfast being included and baggage transfer services and the respective time cut off to bring them to the lobby. Definitely avoid and stay anywhere else
