Relaxing and Calm location

Very nice staff, room is very clean and with a great view. Hotel restaurant food is also very good! It is located in a very quiet area, near Hvar Old Town (5 km, 6 min by car). I recommend renting a car so you can better explore everything the Island has to offer.

The breakfast is Ok, but compared to the rest it could be better. The coffee is not so great…

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Fortuna and would def. visit again. The hotel had a lovely pool area, room and hotel were clean and had everything I needed. Same with the breakfast. The area of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The balcony with sea view was worth every penny. Such a beautiful view!

The only thing you need to know about this area is, that you are a little lost/stuck there without a car or scooter or anything. There are two little shops directly next to the hotel,where you can buy water and drinks and fruits and some food , but depending on how long you stay, it is with to go shopping in Hvar and then take some food etc with you.

Great family-run hotel in Hvar!

Really comfortable and good size room, clean and with balcony which also had space to hang up clothes to dry. Staff are super nice, breakfast included was great. Hotel kindly gave us a complimentary ride to the ferry on the last day which we appreciated as every taxi in hvar is 20eu for a 10 minute ride!

Good option for the money to visit Hvar

Nice boutique hotel, right in front of a peaceful beach, good breakfast, professional staff, 15 mins from Hvar port.

The pool is small, but really not necessary with the beautiful beach right there. Probably the driver they recommend to use, not the cheapest, better ask around.

Lovely location

Excellent room overlooking beach with balcony. The room was small but the view and balcony made up for it. Private little cove beach.

Very tight on bottled water (1 bottle per double room) and shower gel etc when asked the staff they said they are told only one bottle of water allowed for this 4 star hotel.

Charming hotel in a great place with atmosphere and service

Located in a secluded beautiful bay. Hotel on the beach. 6 min drive from town (by taxi). We had a room with a small Baloney watching the bay hearing soft sound of waves (if door is open). Restaurant on site. Very nice to sit and zip afternoon or evening drinks watching the water. Nice quiet pool. Staff is very friendly and helpfully. Free shuttle from and to the port. A place you want to return to.

A beautiful place to stay if you’re looking for a place to relax after busy days of sightseeing. Only 10 minutes from town & ferries. Great breakfasts & the restaurant served delicious meals to enjoy while looking out at the ocean.

Relaxing, beautiful spot

Clean, comfortable and right on the beach. A lovely quiet spot, great for hiking or just swimming in the sea and having something good to eat. There’s a nice saltwater swimming pool (and it’s quiet because a lot of people go to the beach instead). Very relaxed. The team here were really helpful too - thanks for a lovely stay!

Amazing family run hotel, overlooking Milna beach!

We loved staying at this family run property! The staff were so lovely, and made us feel so incredibly welcome!! The hotel overlooks Milna beach, so location is perfect, and we preferred staying in quiet Milna, rather than Hvar, which was a quick drive away. We also did the coastal walk and beach hopped one day, all the way to Hvar, easy to start from the hotel. Breakfast was included and was a great buffet, which you could take outside overlooking the water. There’s also lots of cute restaurants along the tiny strip, not all of them were open because the season started 3 days before our arrival, but I imagine in peak season it’s more of a vibe. Our balcony was the best part of our hotel room and it was hard to pry ourselves away from the view. If you’re a couple or family craving something more quiet and less busy than Hvar, then this is the spot!!

Marvelous! 🤩 I can’t stress this enough, when you visit Hvar you NEED to stay in this Hotel. The staff was amazingly kind and helpful, the room was super clean and spacious. It also has a pool, which was very nice, and the beach is front!!!! Next time we will be definitely staying here ❤️

Beautiful location for a hotel that is run by the nicest family

The location of this hotel is amazing, right on the beach with free parking, only 6 mins from Hvar Town. The staff are so lovely, it is owned by a family who run it & they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We were greeted by Josipa who advised us that she had upgraded our room to a full sea view & it was bigger to accommodate our two little girls. The room was very clean & the all the furnishings were modern. Our girls loved the pool & the easy access to the 3 beaches at our doorstep.

Affordable stay

The room we had was beautiful & spacious. We had a pool view which was nice. The bed was comfy & the bathroom was clean. The staff was amazing and they offer a shuttle to and from the city for an affordable price. They were so kind and friendly.

It is about a 10 minute shuttle bus away from the main city center so we had to keep taking it. If they didn’t offer this it would’ve been a bit difficult to make it to the main area, but thankfully they did and I loved it.

Fortuna Hotel exceeded our expectations. The amenities, customer service and location were perfect. The free shuttle service to and from the ferry were an extra bonus. They also offered shuttle service to town for $10 which was great. The free breakfast offered lots of options.

Probably the best hotel and location we've ever been to, we're planning to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Fortuna. The location, just outside of Hvar was perfect and it was so calm and relaxed. The staff at the hotel were amazing, very friendly and made the stay so much more perfect. Breakfast was fantastic, so much on offer and a great view to sit and have your morning coffee, overlooking a lovely beach. The taxi service to and from Hvar was so helpful and saved a lot of waiting around and messing around, it was also very cheap too.

Not much to say here, everything was great from start to finish.

Great hotel, super clean and brilliant staff

Hotel was lovely and the veiw from our balcony overlooking the beach was amazing. The staff were kind and helpful, they would help no matter the time of day. The taxi ride into town was a great touch too. The room was lovely all fresh and very clean. Would definitely stay again
