Overall I really recommend this hotel if you want a nice, clean hotel with a very nice staff.

Thank you again for the wonderful welcoming, we had a great trip! Always someone available to help, and give good recommandations for food or activities. The facilities were very clean and nice, the pools were great, everyone was very nice (especially one man but I don’t have his name). Next to one of the best beaches in Hvar. It is a 15 minutes walk to the center. The breakfast is good (they even prepared a breakfast to go for us because we had to leave early)!

High-quality comfort in every respect with relaxed people

This accommodation was very modern and clean. There was enough space and modern equipment. An outdoor area with a pool, snacks and drinks, a great breakfast buffet, and friendly and helpful staff. The staff were all pleasant and great! I would recommend this place!

Amazing value for money. Staff amazing.

Breakfast was great, staff was one of the best I have ever seen. Room was nice, beds comfortable. Internet connection decent (was able to work remote). Bathroom is by far one of the better ones Iv been in. The shower system is good, the drainage system is "expensive" (built in the floor and hidden by tiles).... huge balcony.

There are some things they could improve, for example - there was no trash bin in the room; the lock on the door is too loud; we could hear people snore from neighbours room.

Clean, well maintained hotel and wonderful welcome!

Very clean, good location and super helpful personnel who both (a woman and a man) who went out of their way to make sure that our stay went perfectly. Kudos for the great breakfast!

Loved the staff and the rooms.

The location was good but you needed to be reasonably fit to get up the hill. The hotel provided a very good pick up service from the port.

It would have been good to have a kettle and cups in the room. No decaf options for decaf coffee or tea. Fresh towels were provided everyday. Great. But floor was never cleaned.

An average stay

We had a comfortable stay at Hotel Teranea. The rooms are nicely decorated and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay.

The hotel was not what we expected from the photos. Breakfast was below average with the hot food minimal and it feeling a little like a school canteen. However, the experience that ruined it for us was an encounter with a rude member of staff who tutted, shook her head and then laughed at us when we asked if there was anywhere to shower after checkout, as we had a long journey ahead of us that evening. This made us feel very uncomfortable after paying for a three night stay and never asking for anything else, so unfortunately this tainted our experience (the guy however who checked us in was lovely and we could not fault him). Overall, in our opinion this is more like a three star hotel.

Staff was lovely. Good location 15 mins walk to the centre. Lots of stairs so bear that in mind when booking. Nice breakfast, good wifi, facilities were great. I would recommend

Very clean and modern property with great staff, but a few tweaks would make it better.

Very nice, modern and clean property. The room was lovely and the staff very helpful and willing. The personal taxi service to the old town was excellent and very flexible/accommodating. Alcohol sold at reception and at the nice little new pool bar was good and a fair price!

The balcony was shared with the room next door, with just a few plant pots stuck down to separate each other. This put us off using it at night as we didn’t want to annoy the neighbours. The plug sockets in the wall are a bit odd, my friend broke his charger trying to plug it in. The upper level pool felt a bit intrusive as it was directly outside someone’s patio doors.

Very noisy, poor sleep

Newly renovated, nice pool, decent breakfast

Very very noisy at night - we stayed three nights and we were woken up several times each night from 12am to 3am. We were woken up by people yelling and speaking loudly. Upon looking outside it actually was the staff talking loudly amongst each other / on the phone late into the night having no regard for guests trying to sleep… We paid for a room with a balcony, however the room was very weirdly situated facing directly opposite the outdoor communal seating area. For this reason, we were unable to open the curtains the entire time we stayed at the hotel. The staff mentioned that the glass window is reflective on the outside however we still did not feel comfortable with people sitting facing directly opposite our bed.

Great place to stay, clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

Room was spacious and very clean. It seemed pretty new and recently renovated. Loved the 3 pools on different levels. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff and the bed was super comfy.

The room was quite sparse and could do with some bedside tables, with plugs either side. Also it needs net curtains so you can have the curtains open in the day. Every time we were changing we had to close the blackout curtains which made the room dark.

Fantastic staff and relaxing stay!

Super friendly and welcoming staff who were always there to help! The beds were very comfortable and rooms super clean. Away from the hustle of the city but definitely still walkable. The pool area was so lovely and relaxing!

Only thing would be that the location is a little further away, however it is close to the famous beaches!

A good location if you don’t mind some hilly walks, lovely staff and all round a great spot for a girls trip!

The staff!! Nina and Anna and the other members of staff went above and beyond. Super helpful with arranging taxis, carrying luggage and advising on good day trip locations!

It is being refurbished so there is a bit of work going on but nothing too noisy, just felt like the hotel wasn’t quite finished yet.

Sadly hotel was being rennovated during our stay... ended up moving to two different rooms- faulty aircon, dodgy wifi and builders dust everywhere. Staff did their best... think it will be nice once the works are done but was not great for a few days of our stay.

A very clean and well maintained property, with people who couldn’t do enough for us . Went above and beyond their servi

The receptionist, Nina, so welcoming and personable. She made us feel as though we were visiting her home. Resourceful and helpful, always smiling and cheerful. Then Anna the chef was amazing , her food breakfast was more like a buffet brunch she smothered us with hospitality. The food she prepared for breakfast had every food group included. Eggs were tasty and deliciously prepared. She has such a funny personality too she made us laugh and we made many jokes together. We enjoyed our stay very much and you will too if you book a room here. Mention Alexander the Great to her!

The staff were really helpful and friendly. it’s a 15 minute walk into the town and maybe 20 back as the walk is uphill. Rooms were clean and the terrace areas were a nice extra. Fantastic showers.

The pool area is very small. Very few restaurants nearby so you usually have to go into the town or make your own in the room (very good facilities for this though).

Fantastic stay for a family

It’s really unusual to have a pool in Hvar so it was worth the uphill walk to have the pool. The kids absolutely loved both the breakfast and the pool. Staff were really lovely. It’s also super close to the beach which is great if you’re a family. A short walk down a rough path and you’re there. Apartment was really well furnished and comfortable - bathrooms are great. I think we were also lucky that there were no hen dos / stag dos - apparently there are loads in May / June / July so check that if you’re a family.

It’s quite a walk uphill back from Hvar town - so be prepared!!

We loved Hotel Teranea. The staff were friendly and so helpful! Beautiful location with a short walk to the beach or into town. If you needed a ride the hotel staff would drive you or pick you up for a fee.

Perfect stay!

The property was very clean and comfortable. Maria was so helpful and accommodating. She made several dinner reservations for us, secured a boat for a day trip, arranged for our laundry to be done and was very helpful with all her suggestions. She even drove us quickly to the ferry port when our taxi didn’t show up. We really enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the service.

We loved it! Even our three teenagers loved it! Close to Pokonji Dol - a beautiful beach. A nice stroll down to Hvar Town. Marija, Anna and "our guy i the bar" was helpful and so pleasant! Made some lunches in the Apartments - that worked really well!! We would really like to come back again!! Thank you for making our holiday so perfekt!!

Exceptional stay here with a group of friends. Apartment was clean, spacious, modern and well maintained. The mini bar prices are competitive with supermarket ones. Relaxed and quiet with an excellent location - 5 drive to the marina. Most of all the staff here are amazing! They went above and beyond! Will definitely be returning! Thank you :))

Superb

Staff were friendly and went out of their way for gluten free options for breakfast. Apartment was clean and perfect for the 6 of us. It operated as a great base to explore Hvar.

Some basics in the kitchen like oil, salt and pepper would be great but overall a great stay.
