Excellent hotel near the ferries, just outside the old town.

Baggage delivery to and from the ferry to Split. Access to facilities before official check in. Excellent breakfast. Attentive staff. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was good. The bed was comfy. breakfast ok.

In block 5 - The rooms are tiny and very short of space. The shower is ridiculous with a broken shower door and old curtain. The towels are very poor quality and no bath mat. The fridge in the room is bigger than wardrobe space. The staff do not look happy or asked if we enjoyed our stay at check out. Towels not changed daily and we had to go to reception to ask for towels. The music around the pool is too loud and on all day.

Great location

Great location only a few minutes to Hvar harbour accessed by steps. Rooms were clean and serviced daily! Selection of drinks and food at the pool bar and restaurant is very good.

Pool requires some maintenance as many loose mosaic tiles. Some sunbeds had the mesh seating ripped so need to be replaced. Coffee and juice is served from machines at breakfast which isn’t great quality.

Good stay

The location is good because it’s not in the middle of the town. It was newly renovated, clean and modern rooms, felt cozy. I was positive surprised.

I feel like this is a hotel a lot of groups travel to, there was a lot of British male groups there during my 2 nights. The breakfast was tasteless, unfortunately.

Poor experience and not worth for the price charged

Location. It’s close to Amfora and Splash beaches as well as downtown. Also, the swimming pool is good with a nice view of the sea. Some staff were very friendly, like the men who carried our luggage and from the front desk reception as well as a few from the restaurant.

Part of the staff mainly from the bar/restaurant in the lounge. My wife and I travelled with our 8 month-old baby and whenever we asked them to warm up our baby’s food, it looked like they were making a huge favor for us. Some dished were also poor. I ordered sea bass filet, marinated fresh zucchini and fennel salad and the restaurant served a fish with raw zucchini (picture). All the common areas allow the guests to smoke, including in the swimming pool and the tables outside of the restaurant. That bothered us specially with the baby. Since the hotel was packed, we couldn’t move to another table. We spent EUD 1,000+ for 3 nights. Not worth for the service provided. We understand that most of the staff is temporary, but the hotel could provide a proper training to them.

Good option in Hvar

Very nice atmosphere, nice design, beautiful place. We really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet. The staff was also very nice and efficient.

The room was too small - not easy to store the stuffs of 2 persons for only 3 days. It's possible to park your car near to the hotel, but I think it's good to know that except for the 5-6 places in front of the building, for the rest it is "wild parking", which works and is kind of allowed around there.

Great hotel; would definitely come back

The hotel is very well located, the room was clean, and breakfast and restaurant were great. All the staff was also very helpful during the whole of our stay (they offer a service to take our luggage to the port which is very handy, and we booked a tour to the Vis island with the reception desk that also saved us time). Would definitely come back.

Great place for summer vacation!

Amazing people are working there! Everyone was supper nice. Room was amazing with beautiful view. Clean and tidy. Breakfast were included and it was tasty, I noticed there are great variety of food you can chose for breakfast. Location is great as well 10 min till town center. Only issues it is when you are walking towards to hotel you are walking bit up hill, but with a great view. Nice bonus is restaurant for lunch and dinner in the hotel was chipper than places in the city center (still tasty) which was very convenient if you don’t want to go to the center and stay by the pool.

Only issue was with the bed. They put 2 mattresses in one big platform and because the platform didn’t have any frames mattresses were constant moving.

The hotel’s breakfast, staff, overall cleanliness, and location were excellent.

I stayed with my friend. Even though I had booked a twin room 4–5 months in advance, when we arrived at the hotel they told us they had overbooked and couldn’t give us two separate beds. We stayed for 3 nights, and unfortunately, the double bed was far too small for two people, so we couldn’t sleep comfortably at all. They couldn’t arrange it for us on the first day, but even after many check-outs in the following days, they still didn’t help. So, make sure you pay attention to the bed type you choose overall, they are not helpful in this matter.

Nice location and staff

Good location, with a 7-10 minute walk to the beach and the port in Hvar Town. The buildings sit on top of a hill, so the walk back can be challenging in the heat. Great breakfast, nice pool, and the air con works well. Staff were all kind and helpful.

Room and bathroom were smaller than expected. The “balcony with a sea view” description was somewhat inaccurate. Technically, I could see the water, but it was mostly a view of the parking lot.

Facilities I.e the pool was fantastic and location was to perfect. Bag collection and drop off to the port was a great addition. Over all I’d definitely return.

Fun hotel to stay at for a couple of days max.

Great pool with music playing throughout the day. Plenty of sunbeds. The location is great, a short walk into the town. Recommend renting mopeds from the hotel, they have a recommended route that leads to beautiful beaches and great views. The staff are really friendly and service is always quick. Our room overlooked the pool and sea which was much nicer than the ones facing the back.

I read it was popular with stag do’s, only saw 1 but they took over the pool on the Saturday being very noisy and drunk and mocking other guests. Also woken up in the night by drunk men having a party next door. It’s not the most relaxing place.

The power was out for a day and half while we were there. which meant no a/c in our rooms and no way to charge our phones. The room was unbearable to sleep in and the staff were so incredibly unfriendly and offered no empathy or solution. We realize it wasn't their fault but a discount on a night or even just some care towards the guests goes a long way. People were literally crying in the lobby and staff just shrugged. I have never seen such miserable staff working in hospitality in my life. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Complete power cut on half the island from 6pm to 1pm the following day, total darkness having to walk around with my phone lights on, not the hotels fault but bad response even expecting us to pay for bottles of water in 33 degree heat. This should have been the least you gave the guests to keep them safe just a bit disappointed.

A very enjoyable stay with a good pool, good food and friendly staff.

Spent 4 days in Pharos Hvar Bayhill Hotel. The hotel is very clean our room was cleaned and towels were changed every day. The location is very good less than a 10 minute walk down hill to the Main Streets of Hvar. The pool was amazing, very clean with a relaxed vibe from the pool bar.

The hotel is up quite a steep hill. However this was only approximately 3 minutes of a walk so very manageable.

Location, quiet but easy to walk to local beaches one way and town harbour the other way. Friendly staff and good pool area. Great breakfast and outdoor bar area The transfer of cases to the ferry, very much welcomed. Our room was booked with a seaview which was well worth the extra cost.

Access to a kettle (maybe as an extra) would be good. No lifts even to the reception whuch could make accessibility a challenge for some. Would be good to have more information visible for visitors eg local, up to date bus times, water taxis etc.. .

Nice hotel, would stay again

Pool area was very nice, comfy beds and plenty of them. Food at both breakfast and the pool bar were very good. Modern fresh hotel which was clean and tidy hotel throughout and only a 5-10 walk into main town (depending how fast you walked!)

Room was quite small, we only stayed for 2 nights and it was ok for this but wouldn’t want to stay in a room this size for much longer. Also you couldn’t adjust the temperature on the air con so it was too warm in the room, asked at reception and they said it was set the same throughout the hotel

Absolutely loved our stay at Pharos Hvar Bayhill Hotel!

The location is just perfect, close to the city center, the beach, and some really nice beach clubs. Our room was super comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a cake and a sweet handwritten card. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. He loved it and so did I! The pool area is amazing, great vibe, perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand while listening to some good music. It truly felt like a holiday. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. All the staff members were incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel has everything you need it’s complete. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back again.

The only downside was the unexpected €100 deposit on the credit card at check-in. I understand it’s a standard procedure for damage protection, but it wasn’t clearly mentioned during the booking process, so it caught us by surprise.

We were group of 10 booked 5 rooms..while 3 were in one building the other 2 were given rooms at different building with no view and very far from from us..when complained..they were told no room available..the group said we do not accept and few minutes later 2 room were found same building and floor..actually all of us end up with rooms in row

Lovely stay on Hvar

The breakfast was lovely with lots of tasty options to choose from. Our room was comfortable with a balcony with a lovely sea view which we enjoyed sitting on with a glass of Croatian beer in the evening! We did have a problem with our balcony light not working but the staff were very helpful with this and arranged for it to be fixed quickly. The pool was great with some very comfy options of sunbeds which we appreciated as we relaxed in the sunshine. The location was good with only a short walk of about 10 minutes into the town.

No tea, coffee or complimentary water was provided in the room which was a little disappointing and would have been a nice touch. The room was perhaps also a little on the smaller side compared to other places we stayed in Croatia for a similar price but it was still very comfortable. It is also useful to be aware that although the hotel is fairly close to the town it is all uphill from town if you are arriving with cases! Of course, being uphill probably helped give the hotel a better view. We also thought that the tours that could be arranged through the hotel were quite expensive.
