Wonderful Stay!

This is a beautiful rental in Hvar, very nice for the price and the owners/rental agents are very hospitable. We enjoyed ourselves very much and the views are stunning. Something to know is the kitchen with refrigerator, coffee maker, and appliances are removed from the bedrooms and bathrooms, in a separate building just a few steps from door to door. The kitchen is lovely and private but we weren't aware of its separation from the sleeping area from the listing. The owner lives in the adjoining apartment but we never saw her and the whole back lanai area overlooking the harbor was private just to us. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing Views in a Superb Apartment

Fantastic location overlooking the bay of Hvar - we spent hours relaxing in the shade watching the boats from on high. The apartment was very neat, clean and well-appointed. Lots of homely features and very well equipped. We got a warm welcome form the owner as we arrived earlier than we expected so the agent was not around.

Just a caution that there are over 100 steps up from the harbour to the property - fine if you are fit pensioners, like us! No tea towel. No information from the agent who arrived to check our passports - that's all he did!

The host is very nice. The view is awesome. It's a million dollar view! The apartment is big and clean. We had a great stay!

There's a constant humming noise on the terrace coming from 2 chimneys of a factory in front of the apartment (below, can't see it on the pictures) that was a bit annoying. The apartment has a lot of stairs and you have to walk 20 mins to Hvar town but we knew this in advance.

Peaceful with great views across the harbour and up to the town and fortress. Difficult to sum up such a lovely place in

Apartment was clean and extremely well located. It was far enough away from the noise of Hvar (and Hvar centre does get noisy) to get a good night sleep, but easy and quick to walk to and from all the facilities. There are some amazing swimming spots the other side of the centre. I would definitely recommend these rather than using the ones around the harbour, which are busy with people and boats. Follow the sea wall round. Walking through the centre and keep going and you come to relative peace and amazing amazing views. Back to the apartment…. It was very comfortable. The terrace was amazing- huge with spectacular views across the town and harbour and up to the fortress. The steps up to the place were really not a big problem (as some other reviewers have suggested). Washing machine was a huge bonus.

Would have loved to have had a microwave (I get very lazy on holidays). This really really is a minor point though and everything else was perfect. Nothing to dislike about this beautiful place really.

Beautiful Hvar town

Large balcony, great views of Hvar harbour, washing lines, far enough away from Hvar centre but close enough to walk in to (15min) on easy path.

Nothing with the property. Lots of stairs up to it from road but this was no problem for us. Got sucked into very expensive taxi that overcharged us on arrival day ... but we should have walked.

Amazing view overlooking Hvar town, spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious, good wifi, great location, serene and peaceful, very friendly owner, easy to share the unit with four people, parking spot in front of the door. This is a wonderful place to stay!

The footboard on the bed makes it hard to sleep/ fold for tall people. A microwave would be a great addition in the kitchen. The road up here and backing out of your parking spot can be a bit hair raising but you will manage.

Amazing views in quiet part of Hvar town

Amazing views from the terrace! The apartment was spacious and well equipped, we felt just like at home. The parking space for the car was a big plus

Before booking this property I had looked on Google maps the distance to the center of Hvar and it appeared to be closer than it really is. The walk is quite long especially on the way back.

The view of the place is worth all the stairs to get there. From the terrace you can see the harbour and the Spanish fort right across. It was nice to have some basic cooking essentials in the kitchen like salt and paper, and oil. The host kindly provided luggage storage after our check out.

I had a comfortable and easy stay. The directions were clear. The room has all you need. It is clean. Good A/C. But the best is the view from the terrace over Hvar. Absolutely stunning.

Fantastic view on Hvar Harbor!

Paula gave excellent instructions prior to our stay. We had no trouble finding this amazing apartment. Her mom let us check in early and even brought us complimentary beer. We spent hours on the porch - sipping wine and watching all the activity going on in the harbor - yachts coming and going etc. It was a very easy walk to the old town and to several fantastic swimming beaches / areas. Paula was great to answer all my questions and gave me additional info regarding ferry / bus schedules prior to our stay etc. In order for this apartment to have this great view, you have to climb 118 stairs. It was absolutely no problem for us, as we travel with small suitcases and like hiking.

Look elsewhere

Below average for Croatian standards. Plenty of other places around. We only book this as it is a last minute booking. Definitely not coming back. There is a massive concrete building in front, spoiling the “sea view”.

The owner should understand not treating theirs guests only as a wallet. - Being reminded 3 times it is not possible to check in early (we did not even ask) - the minute we arrive, she quickly gave us our bill to pay, all in cash. We haven’t put our bags down yet. - she chased multiple tines to pay immediately. No useful info is given about the island, she did not bother as we only stay one night with her. - After collecting the money, she immediately reminded us check out is at 10am, impossible to do later (even though we checked in at 6pm). The next morning, she came to our room at 9:50am to make sure we are definitely leaving at 10am. - There are all sorts of stickers in the room. Air-conditioning not left for long, fridge cannot be colder than certain level, etc.

Beautiful apartment in a very good position for visiting hvar. We had the apartment with our own terrace and the view was amazing. You can take the stairs and walk to the old city, it takes 15-20 minutes. This is convenient, because moving in hvar city with the car is complicated. The place was clean with some tools for cooking. The price is very good compared with what it offers. I will keep it in mind for further visit in this beautiful island!

If you come by car you have to know the street is very narrow and hilly. If you take the wrong street or another car is coming in the opposite way you can have some problem. After the first times we memorized the correct way and in the end this wasn't a big problem for us.

Best ever stay in Hvar so far. Host is super awesome. Beautiful Sea View and sea sunset view from balcony. Lot of kitchen utensils Available to cook anything you want. Rooms are very nice and clean. Rooms are modern styled. We enjoyed our meals from balcony with beautiful views. They have nice garden too.
