I enjoyed my stay overall. The room was very clean and well maintained, and it was a comfortable base for my time in Hvar. The host was helpful and informative once I arrived. The A/C worked very well, and there is a Nespresso machine in the room, a nice touch. If you enjoy coffee in the morning, it’s worth picking up a few extra pods at the nearby convenience store.

A couple of things are worth knowing in advance. The building is not very soundproof, and one night I was kept awake by other guests partying until around 4 a.m. While this was not directly the host’s fault, I do think situations like this should be addressed when it is happening, particularly as the hosts live in the building and they could hear the noise as well. The room is cleaned every second day, which is appreciated, but I wasn’t aware of this beforehand. If you prefer more privacy or don’t want anyone entering the room during your stay, it would be worth discussing this with the host in advance. Also, if you are arriving on foot from the ferry, be prepared for a fairly long and very steep uphill walk with your luggage.

Beautiful modern apartment, comfy bed, balcony, it was like brand new! The host was so welcoming and gave us plenty of tips and advice about Hvar. I would book again!
