The balcony view was spectacular. The apartment/room was smaller that expected, did not have 2 beds but a full bed and a couch. The area was quiet and clean. The 24 hours "concierge" was not there, we did not find the manager when we needed it.

I don’t think I would stay here again. The place is located pretty far up the hill. The room was basic. Clean. Quiet AC. But the “view” is not visible from the bedroom but is from the terrace outside the kitchen. The kitchen, by the way is detached, so you have to go outside your room to access it. Not super convenient first thing in the morning. There’s no lobby and no 24 hour front desk (even though the listing says there is), so when I arrived it was not obvious where to go or how to get my room. My phone wasn’t allowing me to call the number, so I was just stuck standing around for awhile until another guest let me use their phone to call the host. The bathroom vent seems to go directly into the neighbors’ bathroom. You can hear everything they do in the bathroom.

The sea view room has a beautiful view of the sea and the town! There is a nice balcony with a table and chairs that you can enjoy the view and the sunset from. I did find several ants crawling the side along the dining table but did seem contained to the kitchen and not the living space. One thing to note, this property is on an incline - so be prepared to walk uphill or climb stairs to get here from the port. This could be tougher with heavier luggage.

Cute studio located above the harbour at HVAR. A bit of a hike to get up to it. Could use an Uber or taxi to make it easier. Beautiful view of the harbour from the patio. Wonderful host.

Nice property but if you have luggage to move around, you better get a taxi and pay a flat rate regardless of proximity / distance. Uber is not available here. Once you familiarize with the area, one can walk (extremely hot during summertime though) to and from the town center. Aircondition was not cool and there was no washing machine. Staff was accommodating and helpful.

A lot of these reviews made me worried about booking this hotel but everything was proven to be wrong based off my experience! The lady was very very kind and welcoming to us and didn’t bother us at all. Only thing to keep in mind is it’s a lot of stairs to get to the hotel from the main port of Hvar. I was sweating so much and was exhausted when bringing all my bags but it was all worth it for the view our balcony had!

The host was asleep during our check in (4pm), and we had to keep calling her just to check us in after a long travel day. She brought us into a room that was half the size of what we booked. The air quality in our room was awful, it smelt like mold, and all three of us got sick during our stay. Hvar is such a beautiful place and I would tell anyone to go visit, but unfortunately I would not recommend this place to stay!

Nice staying in an apartment with a friendly host. Nice view from the terrace overlooking the port and the sea. A 10 minute uphill walking from the port, but so are most of the accomedations.

The room was clean and tidy and location was only a short walk to both the town and the beach. Worth bearing in mind the position of the property (at the top of a steep hill) if you have an issue with steps or climbing a hill in hot temperatures in the summer. Host was friendly; however, was barely around. Upon arriving at the property, it was difficult to find her to check in. We were however a little early but as the day went on it was clear that some other guests had a similar issue. Saying this, the price for staying in Hvar town was good value and the balcony with sea view was an added bonus.

I would not recommend for anyone to stay here. The landlady was terrible. She was rude and invaded our space. She also entered the place while we were gone without being informed she will be doing this. The place itself was dirty. The sheets did not seem clean and there was hair in the shower. Avoid this place at all cost.

Unfortunately the room I had did not have a view and I could not open the window as it opened up to the car park on the first floor. The other rooms did look like they had the advertised view to be fair but was a bit disappointed as was looking forward to a view. That said the owner was friendly enough

Great service. Extremely accommodating staff. Washing machine wasn’t working so the owner wash all of our clothes and put them out to dry for us while we were out. Beautiful little outdoor space with sun-loungers to relax on.

Like :(1)Since cars are not allowed to park @ the ferry terminal, the owner picked us up from the bus station (around 5 mins walk with luggage from ferry terminal). (2)The owner gave us a map and showed us good restaurants. She replied our questions in detail. Thanks. (3) the house is modern with good view. (4) fully equipped kitchen. (5) strong wifi. Strong and hot water. (5) you got what you paid Dislike: (1) the door of the bathing stand is broken. (2) facilites are a bit old (3) go down from the guest house to ferry terminal via stairs is around 10 mins walk (with luggage)

The owner is very nice. She picks us up at the bus station and let us check-in ealier than usual. You need to walk down a little bit to get to the beach or the old town. But you have a nice view over the sea as compensation!

Great place to stay if you want a bit of quiet. Uphill walk out of town about 10-15mins then stairs to room. Host very friendly. Had a sea view room but had to be out on the deck to see the sea view. We cooked our own food - kitchen well equipped. We are an average fit couple in our early 50’s

The owner was very helpful in getting us checked in, and she marked out on a map loads of different things to try. The room was spacious and had a balcony with a great view. We would definitely recommend.

It seems as though the owner was having a bad day. She was very busy and did come down to pick us up after we waited approx. 40 min. She expected us to pay in cash although the reservations did not say that and we weren’t prepared for that. After quite a discussion she agreed to charge card but then we couldn’t get it to work and ended up paying her in cash. We were a bit confused with the currency exchange still and she got very impatient with us. It didn’t end well. We did however enjoy the apt. And the location. We never saw her again.

Great. We had a stunning view. Dara is very sweet and helpful. The apartment is a 10-15 minute uphill walk from the ferry which is tough with lots of luggage, but that is the case for many local apartments.
