Old hotel and bad breakfast. Location is perfect. Beach not nice at all.

Hotel is old, breakfast is very bad and rooms are old and filthy, they promote the view and we paid high rate to get a view but there wasn't any nice view.

The pool area was well designed and the pool was clean and reasonably warm. the staff were friendly. the seating was comfortable

Will return!

The location is lovely. We had a big surprise and they upgraded us to a two room suite since we were traveling with our teenager. That worked out perfectly! The staff were happy and cheerful. Towels and food available at the pool to take to the beach

Pool is pretty but too cold. better to swim in the sea. Breakfast was ok. I think it could have had some fresher looking options. Would prefer if people didn't smoke on the outdoor space overlooking the view. It's hard to enjoy it fully. We had to leave.

Extremely small beach . Hotel is charging for chairs and umbrellas even though is a public beach . Very small gym with insufficient old equipment , poor AC ; showers in sauna area not working

Great Hotel

Firstly, the hotel collect your bags at the port and take them to the hotel free of charge. This is a great service. We received a free upgrade to penthouse and we were treated like royalty. We appreciated that so much! We received our breakfast in our room for free. We received free champagne on arrival. We had plenty of towels, stocked up daily. We received daily treats such as cupcakes, ice tea, beer, etc. We loved the pool area. Our room was modern, spacious and stylish. It had amazing views.

We followed Google maps to get to the hotel and it took us up steps and the back streets of the town. We were concerned whilst walking that we booked a hotel in a bad location. However, upon arrival, reception told us not to follow Google maps and that there was a much easier walk along the beach path. This information should have been supplied at booking, but we are glad she told us early in our stay nonetheless. The wifi was poor constantly cutting out. TV is not the greatest - does not have access to streaming platforms. If it did, it would have been useless because wifi was not great. While our room was stylish and modern, the common areas in the hotel look dated. Looks like it’s from the late 80s / early 90s. It needs a renovation badly. The reception staff upon check out was not the most friendly person - treated us like we were stupid and made us feel small, we didn’t appreciate that.

Fantastic stay, very friendly, helpful staff, gorgeous beach, great location 10 min walk from town

The room was great - because of a recent personal loss the staff kindly upgraded us to a suite, which was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection, the location was perfect, calm and quiet and an easy ten minute stroll from the town, and staff very friendly and helpful. The beach was a highlight for me as the water is lovely clear and it extends all the way round the promenade, almost to the main town.

Loved it here, perfect location.

Loved this hotel. Great location, walking distance to everything, beautiful location and setting, great food in the hotel, friendly and attentive service, great pool area and swim up bar etc, just loved it. One downside was the room is a little small and there is not enough wardrobe space but little compromise as its so fab here.

Horrible value for money ratio, for the same money you can stay in a 5-star luxurius hotel in the centre.

The location is amazing, we particularly enjoyed wandering into town at night to enjoy restaurants and bars in Hvar - tons of great places to eat and drink and a lovely atmosphere. Very safe too.

The gym needs more yoga mats - only one in the gym and always others wanting to use one - the floor is really hard and even a couple of towels layered up makes it a bit uncomfortable on the spine! Pool side toilets could do with more regular cleaning during the day - the bin was often over flowing.

Nice location and accomodation in Hvar

Great location, just a few minutes from the historic center and close to the beach. Nice breakfast and attentive staff. The pool is excellent for children.

The rooms are a bit dated, and the pillows are uncomfortable, towels children sized. Also, some guests "reserve" pool chairs with towels and then leave for hours, and the hotel does nothing about it – making it hard for others who actually want to use the pool to find a place to sit.

I loved it all, the restaurant, the gym, the pool the location I suppose I would have like a bigger room not on the corner so we had the sun 360 but sleeping naked was fun !

Overprized

We have mixed feelings about this hotel. Old building but with a nice pool area. The breakfast on one hand offers really big choice of food and drinks but on the other hand for example all juices that they offer are from a box, not even fresh orange juice is provided. The strength of the hotel is the stuff working there - nice and helpful. Location is nice - 10 min walk from center of Hvar and in front of a private beach (not belonging to the hotel though so one has to pay for umbrellas and chairs).

The hotel is definitely overprized. It is an old building that needs proper renovation. Room is very small with old and smelly carpet. The air coming from the air conditioning is even more smelly. No fresh orange juice for breakfast. For the price that we paid of around 450 euro per night we expected much more.

The front desk staff charged me twice and despite multiple attempts to get them to correct this they have ignored me and keep sending me surveys to respond to I’m hoping when they read this they will do the right thing and refund the double charge

Horrible, most over priced hotel I have ever stayed. Would not recommend

We stayed 3 nights in a junior suite. It was 30 degrees at night and our air con didn’t work. We went to reception and they sent someone up who couldn’t help. We didn’t hear from them again until 11.30am. I’m unsure if they fixed it because the entire resort lost power for 24 hrs. No air con, no waterslide, no swim up bar, pool half empty and no communication or even a torch or candle offered. The food at bfast was cold. Our room had mould in the bathroom. So not worth the money. Location fabulous but so is almost everywhere in Hvar. Would not recommend

Brilliant pool area & good food by the pool. Good location as only 15 minute walk into main town. Staff around the pool are friendly & attentive. Loved the swim up bar in the pool. Bathroom is modern. Good breakfast, decent choice of hot food as well as fruit/anti pasti/pastries/crepes/yoghurt. Large beds that were pretty comfortable (other than pillows)

Rooms are very small. Very bad air conditioning in the room, the walls are all windows which makes the room boiling & means you cannot open the curtains at any point. Reception not particularly helpful when raising the issue of the hot room & bad aircon. Wet room not fit for purpose, the shower water goes everywhere & doesnt drain so you end up with soaking wet towels all over the floor. Pillows not very comfortable. Not many plug sockets, only one next to bed one one side. Hair dryer is in the wardrobe & cannot be moved so you’re forced to do your hair there. Very limited storage space, no drawers & not much hanging space.

Would def stay here again

The best nights sleep i've had in years!! The beds were so comfy, the staff were friendly and exremely accommodating and the breakast was wonderful. Location wise, was pretty decent, easy walk down into the town with access to its own beach front (albeit stony and a bit small)

The volleyball court could have been cleaner/safer - massive stones in and under the sand makes for an accident waiting to happen. Also, just from a personal point of view it would have been nice if there was a pool to be able to swim lenghts in, as well as the relaxing pool they have

Pretty property in a picturesque location. Clean, comfortable and modern. Pool was awesome and excellent access to the public beach. Loved that we could drop our bags after getting off the ferry and pick them up at the hotel. Loved that they had vegan options for my son. Although the buffet should be indicate with signs what is vegan or gluten free.

Getting to the property from the ferry was challenging. We later found out not to use google maps, as it is not the best route. Everything was a long walk in the hotel whether from the lobby to the rooms or from our room to the pool. Lots of stairs without hand rails too.

Terrible! Falsely advertised. Very expensive and worst stay in a hotel ever!

Nice terrace. Breakfast buffet was good.

Facilities were terrible with 35 steps to get to reception with no elevator. Extremely NOISY breakfast cafeteria. Room was tiny and not adequate for 3 people with no place for suitcases. The AC unit was rattling directly above bed all night. Third bed mattress was so thin - sleeping on springs. Upon entry, called maintenance to fix AC, clogged sink drain, and bathroom lights out. Beach is public and costs 15 euro per chair.

Big resort with many stairs

This is a huge resort by the sea. Service is good but I think it is over priced for an old hotel with such bad access options. They bring your bags from the ferry which is great.

Old hotel. Stairs. Stairs everywhere and no lift options in many places. Overpriced. 10-15 mins walk from the ferry which is actually okay. If you walk from the ferry, which most people do, you need to know that access to reception is behind the pool area up the long staircase, then up the lift. Long queue to check in.

Perfect location and room space

Everything was really perfect! Breakfast is amazing! They kindly left a compliment for our anniversary and we had a fantastic stay. Promenade to city is perfect. Everybody super polite in all position at the hotel.
