Good place .. a bit far out

One of the cheapest places in Split. Clean, simple accommodation .. Great value, self-serve breakfast on site.

A bit far out from the centre .. 30 minute walk over a hill ... Good bus service though .. €2 a journey .. Hostel full of student groups, a bit noisy at times.

Cannot recommend

Not much to say here. The receptionist was very kind though.

The room is in a poor state, the showerhead is not properly fastened to the wall, air conditioner siphons water into a bottle in the bathroom, generally poorly built and not well kept. The restaurant staff seemed annoyed we were there more than anything. At least it was a cheap stay, glad that we only stayed a few nights though.

Great value for a nicely outfitted room!

There is air conditioning! Several reviews stated there was no air conditioning, but maybe they renovated the units recently. This is a university dorm, and the room was very functional. Good beds, good lighting, good storage, and a great shower. There is a cafeteria available onsite for paid meals, though they are a bit pricey (10-15 Euro).

We didn't use the onsite kitchen to cook, but it seemed small considering the number of people. The location is a bit far from the old town and restaurants, but there is a grocery store not too far away (10-15 min walk).

Warm Hospitality and a Comfortable Base to Explore Split

All the girls at the reception were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They assisted us with city and transport information, and were always ready to help with anything we needed regarding the accommodation. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom — the bathroom, in particular, was recently renovated, spacious, and very pleasant. The room itself was clean, of decent size, and included a balcony, which was a nice bonus. The location was also convenient: not in the city center, but with a bus stop literally right outside the hotel. Within a 5-minute walk, there were sports courts, a seaside area for walking, a café, a supermarket, and restaurants.

The main drawback was the lack of a fridge in the room. We knew about it in advance, but it’s something that could be easily added and would significantly improve the experience. Another minor inconvenience was the inability to store luggage before check-in or after check-out without a fee. While this seems to be common practice across accommodations in Croatia, it would have been nice to have that option included.

Excellent choice for economy seekers

Location is not very far from the old town, 25-30 min walking distance. Staff in every position is very friendly and helpful. It is fairly clean and they provide room cleaning every other day or could be daily but mine was on the second day. Sitting area before the entrance is a nice choice to sit outside without going too far. There are some cafe options nearby and nearest supermarket is 5-6 min walking distance.

Even though breakfast options were good, the queue for the breakfast could be an issue. Go early if you don’t want to waste 15 min just to get something from the open buffet.

Great location and value for the money we have paid.

I loved the location. 10-15 minutes from lovely beaches. The staff was amazing- Especially Denis who managed to sort out another room for my daughter whose flight was cancelled a day before. The staff was able to answer Any questions. Great value for money considering it was a hostel like a student accommodation- very clean, rooms cleaned daily as well as new towels.

It was a bit hot but we were provided a very good fan.

Disappointing, and over priced.

The photo looks great. We rented 4 rooms, I didn’t realise all rooms have no aircon, 2 rooms had fans. My family were cooked in the rooms, very very hot rooms, but thankfully the staff the staff provided 2 more fans. Although the staff were very friendly and trying to help, the rooms with no aircon is not suitable for any one, they are extremely hot, it makes your stay very unpleasant. The positive side is only a short walk to the swimming spot, it’s not a sandy beach. The hostel has a cafeteria which offers affordable breakfast, lunch and dinner. You just gotta be quick to check it out first what’s on offer.

Very very hot rooms. The fans provided were useless, the children had cold showers every hour to keep themselves cool. Unpleasant.

Excellent Services and Room!

The Staff were very nice... Everyone was lovely... Everything close walking if you like to walk and enjoy the city. Definitely, I am going to go back here! Thank you very much for everything... If it was depending on me I wish to stay 2 more days.... But it is what it is... I will see you next year!

Old hostel, not comfortable to stay for a long time, the price doesn’t meet the conditions.

The staff at the reception is very polite, everyone speaks English. The beds are comfortable enough.

The room, plumbing, furniture are very old, with the vibe of the soviet union (if you know what I mean). A lot of mosquitoes, and stains from killed insects on the walls. Old shower with an old curtain, the toilet flushes water very loudly. It was also noisy outside at night.

Cheap and clean place!

The Hostel seems recently renovated, the furniture was new and the beds were comfortable. Although it is a hostel and there were a lot of young people, the place is quiet and great price for a private double room in Split.

The only issue we had was with the noise from the hostel housekeepers, which started cleaning the rooms on our floor at 7am. They could have been more quiet considering the early hour.

Take your own fan and take some mosquito repellent

The availability to have dinner or lunch inside the hostel.

Well, we have some few things to say. The hostel is actually a student residence, so the whole area is around this environment. One other SUPER inconvenient thing is that it is announced as having a ventilator/fan and when we arrived there there was absolutely nothing. It was 22:30, we were tired, Split was experiencing a heat wave and the night was 30+. We went to the front desk and they said it was some sort of “mistake” in the announcement. This is a complete absurd, since it is not human or even fair to a person who is renting this to suffer from heat, mosquitoes and “mistakes”. The staff was really nice and friendly and on the second day arranged a fan for us, but the first night was the worse I had in a vacation.

It's an student hostel. The rooms are student rooms very old, without A/C, so you must open the Windows and there are lots of mosquitos. Poor breakfast. In the night, some teens singinng until 3-4 am.

Price for value is excellent, AC working nice, clean rooms, not spectacular but for paid money is more than good, located next to Marjan forrest and beaches, not far away from downtown. I will definitelly come back again.

Worn out window shutters need replacement.
