Book the apartment, not the double/twin

The location is good and the owner kindly let me check-in early

A basement room with very little natural light. The photos and booking were misleading, I thought I was booking the apartment but then found i was in a very small, cramped twin room. I felt trapped so I left and found somewhere with more space and light.

A pefect place for a couple to stay.

The room was clean and cozy quite warm. The location was fantastic. It was real value for money. The host communication was prompt and perfectly timed.

The micro wave was missing in the property. It was hard to heat incase you had to pick up some food from the supermaket or from the bakery for breakfast or a light meal.

Apartment location was good but the staff ruined it

It is close to city centre

The guy who came to give the receipt, he came around 9:55 and literally asked us to leave in 5 to 10 Minutes as we almost wrapped up and were about to leave in 10 minutes but the way he said go in max 10 minutes as new guest might arrive where the normal Check in time is 3pm which was so rude and the apartment didn’t have Heaters only AC and the utensils were too old and the water heater jar was very bad in condition so u don’t feel to use it , no kitchen tissues were provided not even dustbin bag in the dustbin.

Perfect location and all the amenities you need if you are only there to sleep

Perfect location for what we needed, nice and quiet area away from the hub-ub of the touristy bits but only a 5 minute walk to the harbour. They left some croissants out which was a super lovely touch : ) Ideal size room, very quiet, good AC, and all the facilities you need. There are hooks for hanging things up contrary to some other reviews too. Little fridge/freezer is handy too.

The room definitely smells of damp which I think is from the exposed stone wall. The duvet was a bit small but fine for short people like us! They are smaller than the photos, still good for us but just don't expect a tonne of space!

Great location near old town!

It is located so close to the old town/ center and the staff was very helpful

Good location

Location was great, host kindly left some welcome biscuits. Fine for a couple of days.

A bit too small for us, hardly any space around edge of bed and nowhere to hang clothes We struggled with a couple of cases to put stuff out and a couple of hooks on bathroom doors etc would help.

Well located and good value

Good quiet location. Near old city . Room basic but very clean . Big bathroom excellent shower . Great communication before and owner friendly as was there one day bed comfortable . Aircon works very well .

TV a bits tricky to operate . Room Smelled a little damp but a room spray and open door helped . One great night sleep , one interrupted by a young couple arriving and leaning between 0300 and 0500 loudly chatting and trying to work out the gate ! Can’t be helped and certainly wasn’t the owner out nightclubbing ! Owner did offer me a better room before the stay .

Great location and close to main attractions - easy to walk to places. Equipped with most things you need and was very clean! One and only downside was that the shower taps were the kinds where you had to turn the hot and cold knobs separately!

Amazing value stay in Split

Great location, (once we found it in the dark!) only a five minute walk to the Riva in Split. The hosts have really thought this little room out and provided lots of facilities. The mini fridge, kettle, and mugs/cutlery was a nice touch. The host had even provided some little snacks for us. The beds were incredibly comfortable! It was clean and comfortable and exactly what we needed as a base to explore Split. Air con was also great, we didn’t need it much as early season but would imagine it gets quite hot in the height of summer. Loads of places to hang up towels etc. and wardrobe with hangers provided for clothes. FYI - The hot water kept running out after one persons shower, it needs to be turned on long before showering and then a gap between two people taking showers - so wasn’t great when needing to leave in the morning in a hurry etc. just need a bit of planning in advance or leave the switch on all the time. We would 100% come back here again to stay in Split for a short trip! Thank you for a great stay!

The cutlery draw was a little dirty inside but I just boiled the kettle to sanitise what we used but maybe the whole drawer unit inside needs a wipe down more regularly. There was a damp smell as you walk in to the room, but not overwhelmingly, so we would open the window and turn on the air con for a short while to push out the damp air and then it was ok. Not sure if the extractor fan in the bathroom was working properly? Could be a little noisy at times with people entering the courtyard and from upstairs flushing the toilet but really not too disruptive just something to note if you are a really light sleeper!

Great solo stay in Split near to all amenities.

Lovely apartment, a little bit smaller than I imagined but had everything i needed and was easy to find. Good instructions on how to get in and great location for accessing the town.

Great location and a great price - basic accommodation, but liveable

Very convenient location right near the old city (you're basically in it). Excellent value given what we paid. Generally liveable with no major complaints.

Smaller than the photos. Set lower than street level so limited lights/windows and gets stuffy easily. In a tiny shared courtyard. The trade-off for being so close to the old city is you can't really get a car that close - we found street parking but it was a bit of a walk.

Lovely! Would absolutely recommend

Absolutely beautiful and cozy property as seen in listing photos. There were so many pretty aspects of the property and the owners left us snacks and supplies (the WiFi was also speedy which was great)! They also left us instructions and gave rapid responses when we had questions. The accommodation was great value for money and practically on the door step of town (a short walk away). The street was peaceful also.

nothing it was in a nice area, 15 mins walk from the harbour. host was really friendly left a complimentary bottle of wine, unfortunately only 1 wine glass but other glasses were available 😂

Really good, but...

The location in the center of Split is really good. You can do anything on foot. The room looked cosy and we had a small fridge. Besides that we got some coffee and tea from our host. Also the air condition worked really good and made it comfortable in a few minutes. And this was all for a really fair price.

The room itself was clean, but the bathroom needs a good scrub. There was quite some mold on the walls and in the shower. The shower itself was not really made for tall people. So it was not really comfortable to be in there. The other problem for us was that it was advertised with free parking near the apartment. And they have sended us 4 options just before we arrived, but all those options were full. If you can't guarantee there is a parking spot, then you should not advertise with this. We had to park the car at a spot that was 15 minutes walking away from the apartment. If that is what you call parking space near the apartment litterly every hotel can use this to advertise. But besides this we had an awesome time in Split and it was really nice and for a fair price.

Pleasant

Very friendly and welcoming host. Nearby car park cheap compared to the other one in town. Great location, everything in walkable distance.

It all looks a bit old and would benefit from a refurbishment. The flat smells of humidity, bearing in mind we were there early September when it 30C during the day. It is a small flat, if you need to unfold your suitcase like mine, it is impossible to do it. Bed mattress was soft and I prefer firm one.

The apartment is located 5 mins by foot from the city center, so it's convenient for both visiting the most important attractions as well as the restaurants and stores. The room is rather small, but it offers the most crucial equipment and the comfortable bed. There is also a patio outside the room available for the guests. The host is very friendly and communicative, so there's always a possibility to reach out to him if needed.

There are a few apartments in the nearest neighborhood, including the ones located next to and above this particular room, so it may sometimes be quite loud at nights if the other guests prefer more "party" style of experiencing Split.

Simple and easy.

There should have been a kitchen in the room according to the booking I made, but the there turned out none being available. I think that would have made a difference if a more proper kitchen would have been there. But the "kirchen" solution was ok.

uncomfortable bed, room is in a basement literally. very thin walls, you could basically hear people breathing upstairs and outside. couldn’t get nice nap to be honest.

Comfortable but tired apartment but great location.

Owner met us at the door and told us everything we needed to know. Very helpful about other things too. Was cool and comfortable on a very hot day. Nice to have an outdoor space to eat in and good kitchen set up. We like being able to cook our own food occasionally and this was well set up.

Cockroaches - all dead and probably inevitable in this climate. Was a little tired around the edges. Eg, shower hose broken and no matching cutlery or plates. Towels felt like family cast offs but were v clean.

Idea for what we needed it for!

It was cute and quaint in a great location to explore Split. Hosts were helpful with regards to our late check in. Decent shower and very powerful AC.

Towels were old and crispy. Bed wasn’t that comfortable. A bit noisy upstairs.

A very comfortable studio in a great location,

I would highly recommend this accommodation for its location and comfort. The room is spacious and well equipped, and within a very short walk of all of Split's attractions. The host is very friendly and helpful.

We had some noise in the night from guests in the room above (it sounded like elephants walking around) but this can happen anywhere, and most of the time the place was very quiet.
