The owners, Miguel and Rita, are very excellent host of Bed and Breakfast Inn! Rita showed us the waterfalls and we hiked around with her. I love playing Mau Mau with Miguel, Rita and their guests. They made us like home and we most definitely will come back again. They have EVERYTHING - swimming pool, sauna, river, waterfalls, hiking, and many more! Super recommendation!!!! You won't be regret to make a reservation with Casa do Faultoalto.
The water for shower is somewhat cold but we came here during winter time. I believe during summer, you will love to use their shower!

Estamos profundamente decepcionados e sem acreditar até agora, no descaso da casa fachoalto !!! Fiz uma reserva para sexta 19-09 e quando chegamos a propriedade, a mesma se encontrava fechada e ninguém veio nos receber… ficamos ali por 40 minutos, tentando contato, ligando, batemos palma, gritamos, buzinamos e sem acreditar, pois viemos de Niterói para ter um dia de descanso . Saímos de lá por voltas das 17:30 e preocupados pois não tínhamos como voltar para Niterói depois de um dia cansativo, então voltamos aqui no bookin e conseguimos uma reserva para o mesmo dia ( hotel colina de Petrópolis)

Foi maravilhoso e revigorante
O Miguel e sua esposa nos receberam muito bem, sempre disponíveis para o que precisávamos. Nossas filhas também gostaram muito deles. Os funcionários eram muito solícitos e educados. O local é lindo, aconchegante, no meio da natureza, ao lado do rio. É um lugar para relaxar mas também para se divertir com a família e amigos. Têm trilhas próximas, piscina (que não fomos pelo frio que estava) e uma sala com jogos de tabuleiro, pingue-pongue e sinuca. Lugar maravilhoso!
O único ponto negati o foi a distância do Centro de Petrópolis. Como viajamos dia de semana, os restaurantes mais próximos do local não estavam abertos. Mas é permitido levar alguns itens para permanecer no local sem precisar sair. Mas este ponto é irrelevante perto dos pontos positivos.
