Wouldn’t stay again.

Comfortable bed. Good shower pressure

Power adapters not freely available despite the sign on the wall (see photo). Very difficult to get one for max 2 hours. Reception staff mostly surly and rude. Bathroom design poor and frankly dangerous. Not terribly clean. Food for dinner was poor (toughest steaks ever). Breakfast buffet poor.

Will return but hope to have better maintained room

The hotel block was great and the parking was easy and cheap. Breakfast was excellent and staff as well. The location is not the greatest but I didn't feel unsafe. For a travel stop the hotel was great.

Room clearly needs a bit maintenance with broken trims. No door for the shower made a mess. Was also very disappointed that sofa bed didn't have pillows nor blanket. Due to late night I had to pick pillows myself at front desk but this was ok. Problem was no blanket at all and it was disappointing. Maybe this was due to being past midnight, but who knows...

Clean and decent hotel

Clean and nice room. Nice view on harbor. Decent breakfast although selections could be a bit more.

No access from Hotel parking directly to hotel. You have to go up and outside and around the hotel to enter. There is not much in the area to do. But it was convenient for us to get to our meeting places.

The hotel was nice, very trendy, front office staffs are very helpful but very far from city center

The hotel was ok, the team at the front office was nice and friendly, although the staffs at the restaurant were rude, especially the one at the counter was rude.

The breakfast was limited, was expecting the breakfast spread would be bigger since the breakfast was combine with both Novotel guest and IBIS next door. Asked for black pepper , was told not available at the hotel.

Perfect hotel for connecting flights, but not for multiple days

They could accommodate me early, it's always a great start with me The building and the room itself were very nice, but nothing spectacular The restaurant is offer a nice and affordable buffet for dinner Easy to access to the airports and good wifi

Location itself is not nice - the port which the room faces are just an industrial site, disappointing + no restaurant or shopping in walking distance - I would definitely would choose Copacabana next time. The rooftop swimming pool is long, but very narrow, difficult to get a sunbed and no view from it, the darken glass facade takes away the illusion.

Didn't bother to try

For a hotel built in the last 10 years, why only Brazilian-style electric outlets? Corners on walls and doors are rotting (termites?), not one TV station in a language other than Portuguese, dark and depressing hallways with no artwork whatsoever... And this is a 4star hotel? It diminishes my opinion of Accor in general and Novotel specifically. By American standards, this is a 3 star Holiday Inn at BEST. Forewarned is forearmed.

location was ok for the purpose of my trip, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for someone traveling on vacation (it is far from the touristic Rio and located in a dangerous and ugly neighborhood)

Shame shame shame

I never had an experience like this! First, we took an elevator that was terrifying with doors that open at half… Secondly, they give us a really nice room but with 2 single beds instead of a queen size. Well this can happen BUT we had to wait 25mn that the person in charge of the reception came back from a pillow mission… then he gave us a « better and upgraded » room. It was a room for people in wheel chair (ok I don’t care at all!) BUT here starts the real drama. There was traces of rust inside the toilet and it was leaky toilet, the shadow curtain was dirty and plenty of moisissure traces, on the floor there was like traces of glue with hair, the pillows were there since while apparently as there was brown traces on one of them and to finish a trace of gel or cream or don’t know what on the table… we arrived at 22h50, it was passed midnight we were exhausted so we decided to stay in this room and complain in the morning. But shame on this hotel that offered this can of room to anyone and more than that we know that there is few rooms for people in wheel chair so that means that if it was our case we may couldn’t change our room, it’s really shameful!! For an hotel with high international standards it’s unacceptable… it worth a bad motel and not an hotel where you paid around 50€/night!

Rooms are clean and comfortable

Not enough staff for the Check-in, long Lines. I used a car to get to the hotel. In the entrance, There was a car line, and no warnings at all. About 15 minutes later, i had to get out of my car, get in the hotel and stop a costumer attendance so i could ask about the valet and parking Services. The parking lot was a bit far and, despite there were closer connections between the lot and the hotel tower, theses doors were closed, what made the costumers walk outside the building at any time in a dangerous neighboorhood. This wasn’t specified in booking.com, as wasn’t also the faço that there’s a cost for the parking even for the costumers.
