Would not recommend

It took the staff 1 hour to check us in after a 12 hours flight, although there was no queue for the check in ! None of them speaks english, which made the communication difficult. Once we finally accessed to the room, there was black stains on the fridge, a lot of humidity in the room and air conditioning barely working. We were two with just one towel in the room. We were supposed to stay there again a few days after but decided to cancel the reservation.

good place for 1 night only. parking is no free which is something they do not mention. there are many better options for the same price in rio.

there is no blanket and the bed sheet is no enough for keepeing you warm.

Horrible, dissapointing

The staff kept opening the door to my room without knocking, waking me up four times. Eventually, I packed up, canceled my second night, and left. The mattress was stained (honestly, it was disgusting), you could hear everything from the next room, and I just felt really down during my stay. I’m surprised that Ibis can’t afford to improve their room decor.

Overall good but could be improved upon.

Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and the facilities were acceptable.

Fitted sheets would have been better as they kept falling off and the TV didn't work very well.

Despite the hotel, we still enjoyed our stay in Rio

Breakfast was good but location was too noisy during Carnival.

One day we returned to hotel and our room was open and once in the night someone walked in on us. The manager apologised with 2 cokes and a packet of crisps:-) The explanation was that the cleaner had turned up to clean, ummmm

Breakfast was a great add on. Mucho beuno. Eggs could have been better, no whites and a bit dry. Room was small but efficient and clean. Lunch and dinner were very reasonably priced and food was good.

Amenities in general were lacking. Drinks available only at small fridge at front desk. Location was secure in itself but outside proximity was dark and forbidding 🚫 😐.

The room is very comfortable and clean. Location is near by the Museum of Tomorrow (about 1.5km).

The outlet is not close to the bed. There was only a single outlet available in the entire room.

The room was very comfortable for one person. The bed is big and nice. Buffet breakfast was good. Staff were nice and kept my luggage with a tag

There was only a shower towel, no hand towel. The area is sketchy to walk at night. Nothing to do with the hotel, in fact they have security in front which recommend you to take taxis.

Better options out there

The parking attendant was polite, friendly and helpful... I wish he was in charge of the property.

Easily the worst, least efficient check-in process I have ever experienced. There are two Ibis hotels side-by-side and there is no clear indication of which you should check-in at. More than half (not an exaggeration) of the clients waiting to check in had already waited 20+ minutes trying to check in at the other Ibis and vice versa. Room was not great. Location is perfect if you love construction noise and only leaving the hotel in a taxi/Uber.
