The overall deal is a good one. Outstanding comfortable place, to which people with money (and good manners) go to (please read: no loud neighbours disturbing your sleep 🤭). 100% helpful staff, and delicious breakfast

The cleaning maid didnt Clean my room one day, which bothered me for many reasons, such as shampoo not being refilled. Aside from that, I hated the fact that there's no outdoor terrace or window to open. Why is this a must? Because you go to the beach and then you cannot dry your wet trunks/bikini. If you're there for over 3 days, that becomes a problem.

Very nice stay!

The place is located in a very good position, very close to the terminal (around 13 minutes walking). The room was very nice and clean, however, don't forget to take a converter for international plugs, they only have the brazilian type one.

There was a girl attending on the lobby that was a bit rude, the road to the terminal can be a bit dark at night, so be careful about it.

Would recommend Ibis for a short stay

One of the comfiest beds we have had on our trip. Check in staff (Marcus?) was good and did his best to assist.

Check in was a long process with computer issues. Went for dinner at Novotel (next door) and food was inedible and awaiting response from Novotel

Area around hotel doesn't feel safe and staff are rude

The hotel's proximity to less clean areas of Rio was a concern. Upon arrival, the reception staff's demeanor was unwelcoming and inefficient, greeting us with a curt 'just wait.' The rooms felt quite small and lacking in space. Additionally, breakfast, served in a neighboring hotel, fell short of expectations. It was also disappointing to find out that access to the gym incurs an additional fee. Our stay was cut short, and upon departure, we were informed that a refund could take one to two months to process.

otherwise my stay was excellent! the hotel is at 15 min max to copacabana and the Uber is super cheap, like 5$ can a ri

the property is super clean, the food Service is really good, the have à several choices in the meal so it was cool and staff member are very polite and professional.

the property was great but the only reproch is the fact the staff were not able to help with directions, services I could find in the area such as a super market. it’s unfortunate that most of them couldn’t help in English ! it’s a very touristic city, the least the hotels could do is require a minimum of English from the staff member to better serve their clients!

Up to usual ibis standards!!! And it's very near the bus station. You can walk to it, provided you're happy crossing roads in Brazil. You can also use the BRT system (2 stops from Novo Rio). You can easily use the Novotel restaurant next door for a different choice in dining. There are laundries nearby, but Google's walking route, is very odd. Just be aware.

Brand-new hotel, friendly staff, easy check-in process. Good for a few nights.

It says that they have 24h front desk, but it is impossible to reach them over the phone and they canceled my reservation because I arrived after check-in time (ETA was informed). I got another room in the end.

The TV channels are so bad. There’s not closed channels, no movie channels. Only religious channels. For a leisure stay, the hotel should offer a better channels list.
