Great location, cozy apartment with a garden, great hostess.

The apartment is located at a walkable distance from the center (the Palace, the Riva, and the Marjan Hill). It is in the old part of the town (I found it charming) several steps up the hill, but those steps are easily manageable. There were several restaurants on the way. Not far from the apartment there is a small grocery store and a bakery. The apartment itself (though I'm very tempted to call it home, because it has this home vibe, not a rental place) is very comfortable to stay. Non-smokers, don't get discouraged by the fact that smoking is allowed. We did smell some tobacco the first night, but by the second night it was gone. The hostess, Danijela, was super attentive and helpful. We would stay there again, no doubt!

Fantastic location and exemplary host

The location of this apartment is spectacular. Literally minutes' walk from the beautiful Marjan Park and about six minutes' downhill walk into the old town of Split and onto the Riva. The property was lovely and clean, and the owner was very communicative and very responsive when I needed help. The air con easily heated up the apartment quickly and the outside terrace was lovely. Plenty of hangers and wardrobe space, and shower was nice and hot. Thoughtful decorations and I cannot thank the host enough for her help, especially giving us early check in for no fee and tips for restaurants.

We would have loved some more towels. As I say the apartment was beautifully clean but did smell of smoke, which we noticed as non smokers. I wouldn't let this put you off though. It was also sometimes difficult to lock the door. I would not recommend coming here if you have a car as parking in the area is very difficult and stressful- but this is not a complaint about the apartment, that can't be helped, it's just due to the area.

The host (Daniejla) was absolutely amazing, the kindest, the most understanding and warmest host ever! The garden is lovely and beautiful, the area is gorgeous and it allows you to see a beautiful part of the city on your way to the center and the beach. The kicthen was well-equipped, the AC worked well, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom and all other rooms were clean. Overall, excellent experience, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone
