Had everything we needed

I’m a taller person, so the lower and varying height doors were monetarily challenging. But good space and supplies for eating/cooking

It was a great experience 🥰 The place was absolutely lovely, and the location was superb. Kitchen was FULLY equipped, and aside from basic utensils there were many beautiful porcelain cups (which I personally loved for morning coffee). Very clean and very quiet, perfect for great sleep. The garden is also beautiful, with a lovely place to sit outside for morning coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped us with earlier check-in as well as earlier check-out. To the owners, we thank you for letting us stay here, it was lovely to meet you, you are such positive people 🫶

Excellent location and apartment had everything

The feel of a home in family surroundings. Close to everything. We didn’t know how to use the WM, the owners parents who lived next door showed us how to use it and took the washing out on the line for us, how nice was that 👍

Last minute cozy garden paradise!

This was a last minute booking and it was ideal. The location was great, but in a quiet area away from the street and with a large shared garden area. At the door of my apartment were a table and chairs which was nice to sit in and get some sun through the shade from the trees. Living room, couch, TV, bed and bedroom and kitchen were all cozy and I loved the decor so much. The hosts were a lovely older couple who gave me the key and showed me around.

Just be mindful that the bathroom is a bit small and the roof is low.

I enjoyed it, despite the few downsides

It was a really nice apartment and I liked the interiors - felt very Croatian and cosy. The location is great too - 5 mins walk to main attractions. I risked walking with my heavy luggage straight from the bus station (13-min walk) and I was happy to discover I did not have to climb many stairs except the few right at the apartment. The host's dad lives next to the place and he's a very lovely, helpful person. The kitchen has a lot of natural light and that beautiful village vibe (though I did not have to use it, as I only stayed one night).

The place can have issues with bugs coming inside. I had a little army of tiny ants. Luckily the hosts provided a spray and it killed them and I did not see any new ones in the morning. The bedroom itself does not get much aircon. The fan is provided and that definitely helps, but is not the same.

Great, cozy and authentic apartment in the center but still quiet and private. Highly recommend!

Very kind host, allowed me to store my luggage after my departure for a few hours so that I could pick it up in the afternoon. Really cozy apartment in the center but not right in the noisy part. just 200m away from a popular square, located close to a busy alley full of restaurants at bars but still quiet and recluded. Everything went smooth and I would come again without hesitation.

It is just an amazing and beautiful appartment that is filled with love. It really felt like home. The appartment was clean, comfortable and has a beautiful traditional furniture with many beautiful little details. Its located at an amazing part of Split. The location was perfect! Very central and short walk to the port. Maja was so incredibly helpful and made the whole experience really easy.

genial location, clean and very calm, really close to the city center and the natural park Marjan. The first day we got everithing well explained and we even got tips on the best restaurants and things to do through whatssap. Comunication was great

The apartment is very nice and I did not miss anything. Kitchen was well equiped. Bathroom meets all requirements and the bedrooms, too. Our host was very friendly and helpful. I can recommend a stay.

No need to look further than Apartment Varos if you are staying in Old Town Split.

Maja met us at the property and was a delight. She was super friendly and extremely helpful. She checked in with us before arrival and even sent us restaurant recommendations, which turned out to be fantastic.

Being familiar with "Old Towns" in Croatia we were prepared to have to carry our bags from outside Old Town to our accommodation.
