Great location and very nice hosts. As soon as you walked out your door you were in the heart of the city.

I love when I can give a "10" without any hesitation at all. A very nice and caring host. Nice, cosy, apartment equipped in everything (almost, see below) what you need for a short stay. Very comfortable, large bed. Great location very close to the historic centre, bus stops and the sea. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Very homely atmosphere. Unexpected and very nice welcoming gift: wine, soft drink, fruits, sweets. Very quiet, even if only a couple of meters from one of the main tourist streets (but see below).

With an abundance of kitchen utensils and everything else imaginable - even slippers! - it would not hurt to add shower gel to the list of equipment :) As I mentioned above, the apartment was surpringly quiet, but if there was any noise outside (a loud conversation, for example), it was very clearly heard inside. Fortunately enough, it didn't happen often at all. When we were leaving, an additional gate was being installed at the entrance to the cul de sac, so the chances for such unpleasanties will be even lower now. Not much of the natural light, but very efficient and well thought of lightning inside.

The host was very kind and responsive. She met us on our arrival, even after our flight was delayed. The room was in a great location, easy and quick to walk to any where in the old town of Split, with lots of restaurants and bars on the same street. I would definitely book this place again on a future visit.

The apartment was spotless, it really was home from home, nothing was forgotten. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the location was bang in the middle of everything but really quiet too. Marco greeted us and gave us loads of information about the area, he just happens to work in the little gelato shop across from the apartment.
